"Where are we, Ace?" Eden asked.
"Tree of life, where the dead Wizard's bloodstones return to their homes." Ace showed Eden an ancient tree.
"Wow… amazing." Eden looked at thousands of red gemstones hanging above.
"Your necklace is from here too." Ace pointed up. Eden already guessed it. Ace said her father stole the necklace from this tree. But Eden didn't want to return the necklace. For her, it was far more valuable than all the money she had.
"You're not going to ask it back, are you, Ace? You said I could have it." Eden lowered her eyebrows and begged for Ace's pity.
"Of course not, E. It was stolen painstakingly by your father, and he did it for you. You can have it." Ace looked around the tree, looking for something. Eden waited for him quietly under the tree.
"I apologize on behalf of my dad, Ace."
"Okay, apologies accepted." Ace smiled, then went back to looking for something up there.
