Not disappointing Boa Min Akshi spoke replying to its previous question, "Yes."
Smiling, Boa suggested, "So, shall we continue on the adventure~?"
"WHAT, WAIT! I HAVE SOMETHING TO ASK YOU!!" I sputtered as I was afraid Boa would commit the same atrocity as last time, forcefully send me to fulfil my wish without even answering my doubts.
Thankfully, it didn't do so and said rather patiently, "Go ahead, dear client."
Now is the moment I can fish out the information hence without wasting a beat I fired,
"What is a soul print?"
"A soul print is the major part of a soul." A perfunctory reply as always.
I tried to control myself as the non-existent vein on my forehead throbbed, even I had guessed that much. It is so hard to get things out of that damned shrewd Boa's mouth.
I could only endure and continue,
"What if a soul does not have it?"
"Nothing much, it in no way harms the soul. The problem occurs when the print is somehow destroyed, the least that could happen is the soul weakening and worst is getting extinguished."
A better reply was given this time but,
"Extinguished?"
"Yes, meaning to have your existence 'completely' wiped out."
Ah…my back chilled, it certainly held great importance, that soul print. Diverting my attention I asked another thing,
"You said something about heaven and hell not accepting souls without soul prints…"
"Yes, it is a rule made by the Gods."
Oh, so Gods do exist…wait I need get back on track.
"Where is my soul print?" I asked with force this time.
"Didn't I tell you? It's with me of course."
I was sure if Boa and I were conversing face to face right now it would be smiling with all its teeth showing.
"And why is that?"
"Whichever organization takes up the responsibility of a soul keeps its soul print."
"What if I want it back?"
"Then you will have to wait till your wishes are fulfilled."
"What if I do not want to fulfil any wishes?"
"That's not possible dear client~ You just agreed to do so a minute ago~"
"Why do I not remember doing such a thing~"
I decided to take the shameless route.
But then a screen popped up and showed the exact moment when I had agreed to Boa's sentence that whether I had changed my mind.
"…"
Is everything happening here being recorded…looks like she needs to be careful.
Speechless as she was, she knew that having such a recording wouldn't really do anything as long as she held her stance but this Boa was seriously really getting on her darn non existing nerves. She just decided to take a different route then and asked,
"How can I get it back?"
"When all your wishes are fulfilled, it will naturally be returned to you."
"And when will that be?"
"Soon, perhaps. If you hurry, that is."
"How can I trust you?"
"Aw dear client my feelings are hurt. Am I not trustworthy?"
"Of course, you are…" NOT.
Hah, this must become the joke of the day. This troublemaker, trustworthy? Did it even know how to spell the word?
But being the mild person she was, she didn't say it out loud and continued her sentence,
"…but sometimes there is something more than trust needed between people."
Uhm…she honestly sounded so much like a corrupt official.
"I do not see any 'people' here though?" Boa very logically said.
Screaming internally, I replied, hoping the anger in my voice reached Boa,
"You. Know. What. I. Mean."
And not pushing my buttons further it suggested,
"Alright. How about we form a written contract?"
A written deal…she didn't know how much credibility it would have here but having something was better than having nothing in this kind of situation.
"Fine."
Suddenly a paper together with an elegant quill appeared out of thin air and landed in my hands.
"Here, dear client. All you have to do is sign and the contract is done."
I read what was written and it was pretty much what they just agreed upon, Boa's sign was already there, in a fancy foreign language she didn't get, all that was left was her sign and she didn't delay anymore, signing her name in an even more fancy manner.
The paper then flew in the air and with a pop another duplicate of it was made which disappeared just as it had appeared, to the other person in the deal, Boa.
"Thank you." Boa politely said.
"You're welcome. But where do I put this?" I shook the paper in my hand.
"You can use the storage we provide. Say 'On'."
Storage?
I said "On" while being confusion and a screen appeared in front of me.
Grey and black in color it had boxes in it but how was she to store something in it?
As if knowing what she was thinking Boa proudly told her,
"All you have to do is think. To store something or take it out just think of the object and to open or close the window just think you want to do so. Plus, the space is infinite."
O. M. G!
This was so damn cool! A system perk! AND, the space was what? Infinite?
I tried doing what was told and it worked smoothly.
W.O.W.
"A-Amazing!" Was all I could stutter because it indeed was so.
It's nose almost touching the sky Boa said,
"So, ready now, dear client?"
Of course, I was! I didn't let much of the amazement show and replied calmly,
"Yes…" !!!
