Ryker lost his parents in one of the many and blood spilling attacks of the Wixx.He fled from his home to a land far away where he was welcomed by a few with open arms and the rest with cruel words and insults. Ryker wasn't really hurt by their reaction to him but what hurt him most was his dormancy. Ryker was a Discroll, who were known for their ability to manipulate Earth.Ryker's power was dormant. He went through all the training he ought to,the trials he was fated to, fought battles he had to but without his ability,it all was worthless. One day,The Wixx attacked Biddercombe, the town outside which his home stood. He and his friends were assigned to stop the Wixx's attack, which they did quite well, but that also triggered the first sign of his terrakinetic constructs. Hopefully, Ryker continued to fight against the Wixx until he discovered the truth. The truth that these monsters had murdered his family. Angrily,Ryker sought out the Wixx and tried to fight them but to no avail. They captured him and turned him into one of their many slaves, completely under the control of Lord Snakeleaf who used him to gather the Six stones that rule The Sagesparks. Chapter 1 - Chapter One

Ryker stood before the gates of a grand fortress. The towers loomed above him in large and creepy shadows. He didn't know why his instincts told him this place was going to be safe, after he lost his parents in a wild beast marauding,in the town of Driscoll, that was in the far east of The Sagesparks,a land of magic.

Driscoll had been his home ever since he was young. He had never been anywhere far from that place. But now, everything that he had known lay in a pile of rubble. He couldn't help but start to weep silently.Tears of utter sadness ran down his sun kissed cheeks. A picture formed up in his mind of what could be of Driscoll, now. The smoke that was drifting from that place now,the horrible stench of his kindred who had been killed. The ravens and crows would be feeding on them now.Ryker couldn't help but feel guilty and hurt deep down inside. How was he to live with all this sorrow from now on.How was he to sleep in peace at night without hearing the screams of his family. How was he ever going to make up for what happened to his family.

Suddenly he start to feel weak in the knees. He had run all the way from Driscoll, coming across many cities but he didn't dare enter the cities. He instead kept on walking through all the dangerous forests of The Sagesparks. He didn't care about himself at the moment. He thought he deserved to die,and not his precious family. He prayed some beast that was twice as strong as he was would pop out of the bushes and devour him, that way he would be reunited with his family, but the beast never did pop out of the bushes. As if they all were afraid to attack this young boy.

Ryker looked tough on the face but he was one cheerful lad on the inside. Was it for the long coal black hair that cascaded down his shoulders,or for the gorgeous blue eyes that could pierce through your soul that all the ferocious beasts that roamed the forests of The Sagesparks were afraid to attack him? Were they afraid to come close to him??

Ryker collapsed onto his knees, tears still streamed down his cheeks and wetted his churred clothes. His shirt was all torn and dirty from the desperately long trek from disaster. His pants were churred and torn by the thorns while he ripped himself through thorns and shrubs as he fled from his home. His long black hair was all messy and his skin was all bruised, with a few simple cuts and thorn marks.

Ryker didn't understand why his instincts led him to this fortress. He hoped it would be safe in here.He hoped he would atleast get some shelter from all the misery that haunted him like a hungry lion chasing after its timid and scared catch.

While he knelt before the large and tall iron gates,he started to pass out.Everything started to fall out of place as he started to see darkness. The last thing he heard was the sound of something creak open, maybe the strong iron gates. And he saw darkness, heard some sounds of people rushing out to him before he passed out completely.

***********************

Ryker woke up in a strange room.He was laying on a large bed, tucked up in beneath warm velvety blankets. They smelt very nice.

He realized he had been cleaned up. His long hair matted the pillow beneath his head. He felt stronger now.

Ryker looked around the room. There was a small table on which sat a bowl of water and a towel. There was a mug. The room wasn't exactly what you would call spacious but it offered quite some space.Ryker sat up.

"The sleeper has awoken, finally!!" a voice caught his ears.

Finally? What was whoever talking about??For how long had he been asleep??Because 'finally' meant he must have been asleep for some time. Ryker didn't mind mind about the speaker, but only about himself.

Walking towards the bed,out of thin air,was a gorgeous young lady, about his age.

Her long snow white was tied in a single lock, and she was clad in some strange uniform, that was a white shirt, held around her neck by a tie,a checkered red skirt and a black jacket, complete with white knee high stocks and beautiful black flats.

"Welcome back from your slumber!!" she said, looking tough.

Ryker guessed she wasn't the kind to joke and play around by the way she walked, and the way she stood at the foot of the bed, with her hand crossed.

"Whoa!!Wait!!For how long have I been asleep??" Ryker asked, taken aback by the word slumber.

Slumber meant a long sleep and the only thing he knew that had ever slumbered was the Wicked Rocks back home in Driscoll. That rock, that was said to haunt the Driscolls had fallen into a slumber over a thousand years ago.He couldn't have slept for a thousand years, could he?? Impossible,he thought.

"For a few weeks!!" she said, casually.

For a few weeks!!Ryker almost screamed in surprise. How could someone sleep for weeks.Impossible,he thought again.

"How did I get here??" Ryker continued,to ask.

"Who knows?Only you do!!" she said, seeming rude.

"But how comes I don't know how I got here??" Ryker questioned himself. He couldn't remember anything about how he got here,or what he was supposed to be doing here.

"Get dressed!!" she ordered, turning around," we'll be waiting downstairs!!"

We'll??Were there more in this place??

The gorgeous girl turned around and left, through the large oaken doors.

Just then,Ryker remembered something. His mind was busy trying to contemplate how he got here that he forgot to ask her what he should get dressed in. As if in answer to his question,a mannequin, donned with almost a similar uniform like the one the gorgeous girl was wearing, only differentiated by the black pants. Ryker put on the clothes and rushed out of the room.
