Chereads / The Adventure of D4 / Chapter 7 - Wilford’s Coat

Chapter 7 - Wilford’s Coat

ALEXER POV,

*Bell rings*

Two days have passed since we solved the case about Lori's death. I still can't believe we solved it within the day. My friends do really have amazing minds, and their thoughts got sharper also because we're in D-Club.

Of course, we couldn't have done it if it wasn't of Comere. If it wasn't for him, for sure we wouldn't experience these kinds of adventures. It's really good that we joined his club. I think he's also just waiting for members who can pass his tests. And in our case, we did it. We passed his test.

In the last two days, we also had other cases but it's not that hard. Because the new ones were just about simple things. Sometimes I think, those students were just making it as their alibi that their things got lost, and that they were just too lazy to find them so they went to us, asking to look for their stuff. -.-

There will be an upcoming event in Wilford Academy. One of our teachers said, the school's first event is from the Art Class. I suddenly remembered the student who stole the pencils from the Art Class. I wonder how he is now.

"Pwew, for sure they will just ask for help for nonsense things again. Can't you just get new assignments outside the school again? So we can feel the challenge in solving cases again!" Vienne complained while playing with her hair. She looked at Comere too who was busy playing chess with Wadalei.

They are playing chess more frequently now, huh? Looks like my cousin is learning how to make friends. -.-?

"Why don't you just try to shut your mouth in the corner and let yourself count some dust?" Comere said. Ugh, looks like they are going to argue again.

"Hey Comere Grey Shion! If only you get new cases outside, we're now doing something right! You complain so much too, you know?! You only play chess there the whole day!" Then Vienne looked at Wada. "Also, you won't beat Wada even how many times you've tr—".

"Check."

"Ohh.." Wada said.

"W-wait, what?! Y-you lost?!" Vienne exclaimed. "B-but how?!"

"Isn't it obvious? Because she made the wrong move. So, I was lucky today!" He even snapped his finger then laughed. I just stare at him because he wears his creepy smile again.

"I-it's not possible! You cheated, right?!" Vienne keeps on complaining.

"Why would I do that?" Commerce crossed his arms this time. "This is just a game. Why so triggered, Miss Talkative?"

"W-what?! M-me?! Triggered?! You wish!"

Hss. They're too loud again. They will never get along, do they?"

*Door opens*

We all looked at the door when it opened. A guy standing straight showed up. He walked straight to Comere and Wada who were playing.

"The SSG President is calling for you, Shion." He said with no emotion and placed down an envelope like an invitation card.

He didn't wait for Comere to say anything at all. He also left the room right away. I looked at Comere and watched his reaction.

His mood immediately changed and went blank. Just like how the first time we saw him here in his Clubroom.

"You may go and attend your class. I need to do something." He coldly said to us and left without looking back. We were left there wondering. We don't understand why his reaction suddenly changed.

We went back to our classroom when Comere left us in the Clubroom. We haven't thought of what had happened in the Clubroom 'till Lunch break.

We were walking when we noticed Comere standing by the soccer field. I told Wadalei and Vienne to walk over Comere which they agreed.

"Comere, did you have some lunch?" I asked when we got to his side. He glanced at us for a second and nodded. He looked back to the students gathering from afar again.

"So, if you're not in the clubroom, you stay here?" Vienne asked.

"Maybe." Comere said, "Why are you here?" What do you want?" He added.

"Nothing, we just saw you so we came here." I answered

"Don't you have any case?" Vienned asked again.

"Nah." Comere said shortly.

"That's why you're so bored." Vienne commented.

I also looked at the students that Comere was watching. I suddenly remembered something so I unconsciously said something.

"What's the meaning of the white and black coats? I'm just curious why there are two types of uniforms."

"Huh? You don't know what that means yet?" Comere asked surprised then went silent for a second. "Well, there are two types of students here at Wilford Academy. Whatever your coat's color, that's where you belong." Comere pocketed his hands then he chuckled. "That's one of the annoying marks at Wilford Academy."

"Why? Aside from its color, what's the difference between the two coats? What is their meaning?" Vienne asked again.

"Hmm.. Wilford Academy has two types of students based on their coats. I understand that you three didn't know about it, since you're transferees. Anyways, the white coat means PPC or Public Pass Consent; it is used by Scholars or by people who have nothing or have no family related to politics. Usually, most of the students use this." Comere looked at what we're wearing then shrugged his shoulders, "Like what we are wearing."

I smirked at his explanation about the first uniform of the Wilford Academy. I somehow understand it but there is still something I can't figure out.

"And the other coat which is the black is the VPPC or VIP Port Pass Consent; It is used by members of well-known families. Such as Rich businessmen and politics related." Comere said again. I didn't expect that explanation.

That means, those students wearing black coats who we walked past everyday are from rich families? Maybe that's why most of the white coats don't want to get near to those wearing black coats.

"And as you can see, most of the students were avoiding the Black coats." Comere added and I nodded, agreeing to his statement.

"Yeah, I noticed it too, Comere. Almost all the White coat students were avoiding the Black coats whenever they saw them. Everywhere I see, they look like they are afraid to get near them." I commented.

"Really." Comere said and sighed. "Anyways, I'll go back to my fellow classmates. You three should go back to your classroom." He didn't look back at us after saying those. He just left so we decided to go back to our classrooms too just like Comere said.

But, I still keep on thinking about what Comere just explained..

Two types of students…

Why do they need to put a mark on those rich kids? Why is it like there's still missing from Comere's information.

Oh, whatever. Maybe it's just my imagination..
