Null The Lost god: Welcome players! To the third game! (Null said excitedly, as he hovered above everyone)
The Players were currently in a large clearing, devoid of trees or plant life.
Blem (Tallian Leader): How many more games must we endure until this is all over? (Blem asks)
Null The Lost god: (Chuckles) I'm in a bad mood so I'll answer honestly... These games will not end until a single team remains. I'm looking for the strongest team, so the games will continue to get more difficult, until eventually. I'll find what I'm looking for. (Null explained with a sinister smile)
Everyone is completely terrified by Null's words, which meant that until the other teams died off. These already dangerous games will continue to get harder.
Null The Lost god: Now let's focus on the bright side. The third game won't be dangerous to you at all, and what's better is that if you can win this game. You'll be spare from the horror of the fourth game. (Null explained fiendishly)
Lai (Orthoan Leader): Tell us more about the third game. (Laid asks confidently)
Null The Lost god: This will be a Pet vs Pet game. You've all chosen your pets, so now they'll be fighting each other. (Null said with a smile)
Tex (Perillian Leader): You fiend! You can't possibly expect us to let our pets fight each other! (Tex said in anger)
Toma (Merillian Leader): That's because she wasn't expecting this to be a fight to the death. Whereas our pet is ready for a massacre. (Toma said excitedly)
Clad (Tallian Male): Don't be so cocky, Merillian! Our pet is a killing machine. Literally! (Clad said with a confident smile)
Null The Lost god: Oh that reminds me! Your pets must first be judged before they can fight. To ensure that they meet my standards. (Null said with a smile)
Murie (Tallian Female): What do you mean by that? (Murie asks)
Null The Lost god: A pet is an animal companion, one who is excessively loyal to their master. At least that's what my research tells me. So, you must be able to command your pets, and they must obey. Otherwise you'll be instantly disqualified, and won't participate in this game. (Null explained)
Duke: Hey that's not fair! (Duke complained)
Eric North: No, it's completely fair, Duke. We can do it. (Eric said confidently)
Null The Lost god: Since you're so sure of yourself, why don't you go first. Command your pet! (Null said as he summoned Captain in front of Eric)
The pet's could not been seen in the clearing they all were. That is until Null summoned one out of thin air.
Eric North: (Exhales) Hey Captain, how's it going? (Eric said with a smile, trying to hide his nervousness)
Captain still had the serious look on his face, and after he had attacked Duke so suddenly. Eric is now unsure if this police dog is as harmless as he once thought he was.
Penelope North: Be careful. (Penelope said to Eric nervously, scared for his safety)
Eric North: I know... And don't worry, he won't hurt me. I think. (Eric said as he moved towards Captain slowly, with his hand outstretched to pet him)
Null The Lost god: I don't know what you're trying to do. But you know that all you have to do is command him right? (Null said with a hint of frustration)
Eric North: I know, but you must first build trust. (Eric said)
Null The Lost god: That creature has already chosen you as it's master. If it's still violent towards you, it simply means that you're unworthy. And if that's the case, your team will not participate in the third game. (Null explained)
Eric drops his outstretched hand and regained his composure. As a child he had helped raise a lot of dogs, his family loved dogs after all.
So with his experience Eric knew that you should never show fear towards a dog. Just have a healthy respect for them, and with that attitude they'll do whatever you say.
Eric North: Captain. Sit! (Eric commanded)
Captain stared deep into Eric's eyes, and Eric stared back. Afterwards Captain obediently sat on the ground, with his tongue sticking out, displaying a happy mood.
Eric North: Phew!... Thanks boy. (Eric said as he rubs Captain's head)
Null The Lost god: Good job, I guess... Now it's the Orthoan's turn to command their pet! (Null said with a smile as he summoned a large beast before General Lai)
The Beast was about three meters tall and looked like a large tiger. But this tiger had green fur and enormous teeth, which were almost too big for it's mouth.
Lai stood six foot tall in height, and looked up at the nine foot tall Tiger. Without a hint of fear in her expression.
Lai (Orthoan Leader): Knell! (Lai commanded)
Upon hearing Lai's command, the beast bowed down before her. Literally trembling in fear as it did so.
Zem (Orthoan Male): That's our General. (Zem said with a proud smile)
Null The Lost god: Now it's time for the fun part. Because the Police Dog, and The Orthoan Tiger. Will do battle! (Null announced)
Next: The Strength Of A Captain.
