Meanwhile as shin lays broken in the hall. laurel is clashing with the second demon king. lucien. laurels eyes glow white and he smirks.
"Lucien is it, let me tell you your future"
laurel smashes the man's face into the ground. sliding him across it smashing him into the wall next to the main hall.
" I feel like you should know that should you win today your death shall come soon."
lucien strikes back hitting laurel into the garden wall next to the hall shin is in. Laurel stands his body glowing his aura expands healing his wounds. laurel jumps at lucien. lucien and laurel grasp hands in a struggle. battering their heads into one another. laurel starts to speak again.
"should I succeed in killing you. you will be a puppet. should that happen your death will come in the most gruesome manner. the last way your life will end is the worst to a demon, and that's with you losing all hope and despairing at the hands of a newborn king."
laurel smirks as lucien rages growing spines over his arm shooting them off lighting the entire manor on fire.
"You pitiful human king you presume to predict my life or death? It is just like tilo said your predictions can be changed. Tell me what use are your predictions?" lucien gathers aura to his fingers and slices down like a dagger cutting laurels sword.
Laurel smiles"there are few who can change fate you know. when the bell tolls for you. you shall find your fate.. Now from me to you this is your gift.. a gift from the king of sight." The slash follows through cutting into laurel. the demon king lucien walks forth grabbing laurels hanging head.
"Hmph how are you a king? such a weakling with a useless power on top of that. pitiful.." lucien tosses laurel onto the garden path walking towards where Andrea rayle had gone. he stops a moment spitting blood all over the ground his sight blurring.
"This is how he predicted pitiful humans you may have had a king of sight, but it appears ours has way more skills. hahahahaha"
Andrea runs through the hall heading towards the dungeon. "I have to survive. I have to survive. I have to survive. that worthless servant could not even last two seconds. why would I bother keeping him around." She hits a hidden switch and starts down the stairs.
"At least my daughter is alive." she says running down the stairs to a wall with one light on it.
she pulls another lever walking through a secret door to the lab that the demon king tilo had been inside. she looks around noticing the book with the vial inside is gone.
realizing why they came she bites her lip.
"Damn they stole father's work I was hoping to use that to rebuild." She grabs a ring and puts it on. it turns into a dove as she chants a few words.
"Bring a message to the guild. the Demons are attacking the rayle family. send top rank kings. there are two and they have obtained a powerful artifact." She smiles as it dissappears into mid air.
She turns to a dark corridor and smiles. "now I have to take my leave." She runs towards it but a huge hand holds out the demon girl from before causing Andrea to fall back.
around the corner Albert's face pokes out.
"Aaannndreeeaaa oh little Andrea why don't you want to see your father?" Andrea rayle screams obscenities while sliding backwards.
"No no this..can't be who are you I don't know you." Albert smiles his new sharp teeth shining in the dark.
"Oh no no you don't recognize your father after his dreams have been realized? this power is sublime, and humans should relish it."
he licks his lips as a scream rings out through the house. blood splattering the dungeon walls. Albert lifts his head an arm in his hands blood dripping from his fingertips. a bell tolls in the background signaling the Demons retreat. they all dissappear as quick as they appeared. one by one they dissappear each to reappear on a cliff looking over the manor.
Just then laurel awakens bleeding heavily. he reaches out towards where shin lay a man with a cloth over his eyes appears and holds up laurel.
My dear friend laurel why would you stay after seeing this possibility?" The man dressed in a long white coat a red necklace with a scythe talisman on it.
Laurels eyes open as he smiles. "Ah it's you king of slaughter Hawk." Hawk removes his eye covering shoeing he is completely blind.
"Laurel why would you serve such people with your powers you could have just retired." Laurel points to shin.
"Hawk no matter what watch over that child do not.." laurel coughs up blood as he tries to speak. a woman appears behind Hawk. a maiden in a black dress and veil. a green aura strand shoots from her hand wrapping laurel in a flowery cocoon. Hawk turns to shin he dissappears reappearing by shin. the woman as well wrapping shins body. laurel floats by shins cocoon his aura waning.
The woman speaks. Hawk these two need treatment asap. Hawk stops in his tracks as the roof collapses laurel says one more thing.
"Take care of him he will one day.." The light from laurels eyes dissappears. Hawks anger evident he grabs his necklace a blood red aura shoots through the night as he rages. his aura alone shattering the manor around him.
