22nd day of May, Year 1546. On the Empire of Astrea. In the forest of Vadell.
Standing with sword on her hand is a girl named Arianne. She panted heavily as she pick something on the ground.
'water magic: water bullet. after citing those words inside her head, water started to form in the air. Tiny balls of water went running towards the beast and easily penetrated the beast.
The (D-ranked) hobgoblin was easily subdued by a 6 year old girl.
"Whoo! That's the last hobgoblin.I better hurry up, so I can go home before dinner, mother must be waiting for me to return." She huffed
Turning her head back she whispered underneath her breath " May you rest in peace'
She quickly took the crystal from their body and put it onto her bag. After that she decided to go back home.
Arianne is leaving the forest in a hurry since it took a lot of time to get back.
While she was on her way she heard a loud scream. Not sure with what she heard, She stopped for a moment and turned around.
Arianne closed her eyes and opened it back again, She can somehow feel a faint presence from afar. 'This is weird. No one should be on that side of the forest now.'
When turning to her left Arianne heard the scream again, wanting to help the person, She quickly run towards the direction without hesitation.
"Who would have thought there's still people crazy enough to come to this side of the forest" she thought running hastily and turning her vision back to what it was originally. "Well except me that is,"
After a few minutes of running, she arrived at an open space where the person was supposed to be.
Taking a step back, shocked with what she saw. She drew her blade towards the beast with sweat running down her face. "Oh my, this my first time seeing a giant arachnid." Arianne gulped, "I need to finish my business here as quickly as possible."
Searching for the person or whatever she heard screamed, she was baffled " What's that black thing behind the spider? A beast? A human? Wait, a person!!!?? Oh no! He seemed to have lost a lot of blood." She thought to herself.
But first she needs to get past the beast to grab the boy and escape. With that in mind, she just made a somehow manageable plan.
Pointing her blade to the beast and forming water bullets in the air she waited for the right timing to charge forward. With the beast being brash and ready to strike with it's long legs. Before they exchanged blows Arianne fired half the water bullets she created on its legs where she is aiming at, and it seemed that Arianne was being overwhelmed by the beast sheer power.
" It looks like I really have to run. Its stronger than I anticipated. Well I'm not strong to defeat this to begin with." She thought to her self.
Shooting the remaining water bullets on its eyes the beast let out a loud scream, waking the boy.
The boy couldn't stand nor sit back up. Knowing that, he looked around and saw Arianne fight the beast tears started to flow from his eyes.
"I refuse to die in a place like this. I'm going to....." and fell unconscious unable to finish what he said.
Hearing this she became more determined in saving him.
After shooting, Arianne took a ball from her bag and threw it on the ground near the spider creating smokes, blocking the beasts vision.
Grabbing the boy, Arianne fled the area as quickly as possible. "Wow, that was .....fun!" She said giggling to herself. But stopped right after seeing the boys condition.
Shaking her head she spoke to herself "Arianne, you need to take care of this boy first!"

Arriving outside a town, Arianne laid the boy underneath the tree and inspect the boy's wounds.
The boy had a deep cut on his chest and right arm. "He seems to not have eaten something for 2 days, and this cut on his chest.... Oohhhh it hurts just by looking at it. For now I'll just apply first aid" Arianne said with a relieved expression.
" Ok, all done! Now all I need to do is find a healer in the town." She said and then she wrapped the boy with cloth and done the same with hers.
Entering the town with the boy in her back, she felt a little anxious for the boy's temperature suddenly starts to increase.
"Did I cleaned the wound wrong? Or it's just normal? But still, I need to find a healer fast"
She went around the town asking people after people but all of their answer are the same "they're not currently here".
Out of the blue, a green haired man with glasses suddenly approached Arianne. "Little girl that person in your back seems to be sick. I know a healer in this town and she's a pretty good one."
"Please take me to her mister" Arianne pleaded.
" Well, that's the easy part. You see, this woman always charge her costumers double the amount.... , So do you have money for that?" said the man casually while doing the money sign
" Of course, I have enough" Arianne replied
" Okey dokey! follow me" he said walking towards the alley.
They took many turns,left and right, and finally arrived at a shabby house.
The man barged in the house shouting "Jade! I brought a costumer!"
Exiting from a room with a slipper on her hands she threw it to the man. "For once, can you knock my door before barging into my house. The next time you do that I'm gonna kick your ass for real"
" Come on Jade, I brought a patient.... or should I say costumer FOR YOU" he said patting her shoulder nonchalantly.
Get your hands off me" Jade replied taking a cigarette from her pocket and lighting it up.
"Oh sorry!" He said nervously moving away from her. " Well anyways, Jade this is the costumer"
Arianne stepped forward and said "Umm, hello, please treat him immediately. It seems like he's in pain."
"Sure, Let me look at him." Not caring who her patient is.
Laying the boy on the couch, Arianne unwrapped the wounds and showed them.
The two of them flinched at the sight of it and then the woman asked Arianne in a shocked tone "What happened to him? This doesn't look like it was cut by a blade?"
"I don't know him, I just saw him lying in the forest, bloody, so I took him and cleaned his wounds." Arianne replied shrugging her shoulders.
" What!? I thought he was your little brother" said the green haired man.
" Shut your mouth Ian, we're not talking to you."she said, clearly annoyed
"Yes ma'am" he replied immediately
"Anyways you did a good job cleaning his wounds, it looks like it's done by a professional."
"Oh! You flatter me." She said rubbing the back of her head. "Just as I thought there's nothing wrong with my first aid."thinking to herself.
"now I just need to heal him." Closing her eyes and putting her hands on the boy's chest, She softly said " light magic : miraculous light" and then white light started gathering on her hands and healed the boys wounds.
Seeing this Arianne was in awe "Wow!! You're amazing big sister! So your magic is light magic!" Arianne said clapping her hands with a big smile.
" It's a given that I'm amazing because I'm ME." She replied to Arianne with a slightly red face.
Jade cleared her throat and said "He still needs to recover from exhaustion and eat a lot. He will be having a few colds every now and then so take extra care of him."
" Yes, thank you very much" Arianne said bowing her head.
" Oh! You said he isn't your brother or an acquaintance so what are you gonna do about him." Pointing his finger on the boy.
" I'll let him stay in my house until he recov-" not completing her words she soon had a thought "They'll found out about me leaving the palace. I should just keep him a secret from everyone, okay it's decided!"
" Yes mister, he'll be staying with me"
" Oh, what a kind girl" was the thought running on the mans mind. "Won't your old man reject that idea of yours" he said
"Don't worry mister, I got it handled" Arianne said reassuring the man.
"You should take a quick rest little girl, you've been running around the town. I'm surprised you're not tired" said the man with curiosity.
"But I'm more curious as to why you keep calling me mister, do I look that old" he thought to himself
"You were? You don't look like it" the woman replied
"Umm I'm actually quite tired, but they said young people has higher stamina than older people, right?" she said happily.
"Yes that's true"
"while you're resting and waiting for the boy to wake up, let's introduce our self" said the man with a cheery voice then gave Arianne a seat "Then I'll start with myself."
He cleared his throat then started with his introduction "My name is Ian. Ian Flynn. And you may call me brother Ian." Winking towards Arianne
"Will you stop doing that, its disturbing" giving him a nudge on the torso. "My name is Jade, but everyone calls me Jade."
Ian laughed to Jade saying "Jade they're clearly the same. Is that how you introduce to everyone you meet."
"Of course not, do you?" She answered.
" Well I don't too."
" How about you little girl? what's your name?"
