Sungjin had set up the laptop on her bed, with a notepad and pen beside it to write down any possible techniques or methods of makeup they can find today.
Seohyun came with a large red box on her hand, she could barely carry it on her own, but she managed to bring it there. His face awed in sight of her.
"What the–," his eyes were as big as a Ping-Pong ball coming out of his socket, seeing the red box, "What is it? Pandora's box?" he laughed.
Putting the box on the bed beside him, she sighed, "Mom's makeup box…"
"I see…" his jaw dropped when he found a short video on eye makeup and then turned to see her open the large box
It had everything a woman would need, from a large eyeshadow palette to a bunch of lipstick shade yo concealer, foundation, moisturizer and everything, it had a bunch of make up brush too, they could call it a professional make up kit, her mother was a normal office worker though.
Funny thing was Seohyun saw all these stuffs for the first time in her life. It's understandable Sungjin didn't know, but Seohyun should have know at least basic ones.
So, on the first video they taught how to apply eyeliner. Those who know how hard it is to apply eyeliner beautifully as a beginner, will know what happens when someone first time applies it themselves or on others.
The blonde girl on the video flawlessly drew the liner on the girl sitting, specially the wing at the corner of the eye, it looked gorgeous. Seeing her skill both of their eyes sparkled
"I'll try it on you, " he paused the video to ask cheerfully.
Seohyun nodded in excitement.
But then again it was hard to find the liner on her mother's enormous kit, there was a lot of things to figure out.
In the innermost corner of the box, there was a bunch of nail polish container standing in queue.
One of them was black, not knowing, Sungjin picked it up. Seohyun was ready, closing her eyes, waiting.
"The brush isn't like it showed on the video," he opened the nail polish to pull out the brush, he saw the brush was much more thick than it should be and it didn't had any pointy end.
"Why?" Seohyun asked as she opened her eyes, shocked to see him picking up a nail polish instead of a eyeliner.
She was about to throw a punch, but then she calmed down, regretting the slap she hit him, "You dumbass! It's a black nail polish!"
"What?" realizing what he was about to do, he couldn't contain his laugh, "Nail polish on your eyes, hahaha…"
"Guess, I shouldn't have stopped myself from beating you," her fierce eyes made him nervous. He put down that nail color immediately, and searched for the liquid liner.
It was in the opposite to the nail colors, a small bottle of liquid liner which almost looked like those nail polishes. But these brushes were thin enough to draw on eyes freely.
Now, time for actually applying it. His hands were shaking even before he touched the brush on her eyelids.
The tutorial said to draw from the middle to the end of the eye and then opposite.
Just like that he did it perfectly, until he started drawing the wings. The lower part of the wing was done on her left eyelid but his hand shook the moment he had to draw the upper portion, now he smudged the wing, to make it up he drew it thicker and now her half eyelid was covered in pitch black.
Containing his laugh, he drew the other eye too, it was less thick this time.
"Should I open my eyes now? Let me see how I look.." she was curious as he took a lot of time.
"No! Not now, let it dry first," it looked so hilarious that he could feel his life on edge.
Hurriedly, he hid the mirror under her pillow.
She quenched her eyebrows as she felt him moving on her bed, ' What's there ti move this much?'
"Now, it's dry, I'm opening my eyes…"
"Ah… ah… yes, you can open."
"So, how do I look? Where's the mirror…" she tried finding it.
Widening his eyes, he blurted out, "Wait, you can see after all the makeup is done, not now."
"Why? I wanna see it now," she started rummaging here and there.
"Listen here," he grabbed her shoulder, staring at her eyes, he told her seriously, "Just wait a bit…"
"Um, okay, then what's next?"
"Lemme see… next is lipstick. It's easy, just apply it on the lips." He did as he sais but for some reason she looked even more funny, he drew her lips in this way, it looked way more thicker than her actual full lips.
"And now the blush…" he chose a bright pink shade of blush and applied it covering her whole cheeks, making her look like a joker with pink cheeks.
Sitting on the verge of bursting out in laughter, he tried to control himself, when she spoke again, "Now, it's done, right?"
"Yeah?" Seeing her eyes sparkled, he still didn't have courage to show her the mirror.
"I think you shouldn't see yourself, " his remark made her suspicious, she could smell something fishy in his nervous smile.
"Let me see it or you'll regret… "
" Not me, but you're gonna regret doing it with me, heh…"
She suddenly leaped on him to grab the mirror, she found it behind him peeking through the pillow.
"Hey, hey get off me… What're you doing?" he yelled at her, not understanding her motive.
Amidst these ruckus, they heard a bang noise so loud on the door, their heart skipped a beat. Both of them were shocked as hell, but it was a perfect time to snatch the mirror from him when he was absent minded.
But it was her worst mistake to see herself on the mirror, her laughter broke out but at the same time she was fuming, then she heard her mother's voice, "Seohyun, I know you're in there with Sungjin, " accompanying another loud bang.
Hearing her mad voice Seohyun immediately curled up in the blanket, hiding her face carefully and rummaging her mother's makeup kit to close and hide it beside the bed so her mother couldn't see it now.
Sungjin had to open the door as Seohyun already curled herself up.
Mrs. Chae came, glaring at both of them. Her daughter was the most suspicious there, hiding under the blanket.
Without any hesitation she pulled the blanket at once to see her daughter's face. It was sk ridiculous that her face froze with no expression on.
Both Sungjin and Mrs. Chae froze there seeing Seohyun's hilarious face.
