I walked leisurely with my hands behind my back. Going through this market, I neared the alleyway where Madam Ru's shop was located.
Actually, it was more like a secret hideout than a shop because no one would open their business inside an alley. They would want a place customers could access easily. Most people would be hesitant to enter the alley at all.
''Hmm, so is this it?'' I muttered looking at the shack in front of me. The door was closed and there was not even a signboard to indicate that this was a herb shop.
''Whatever.'' I ripped the door made of thin wooden planks and walked inside.
I used my spirit sense to scour the area and found two signs of life inside another room to the left. Aha! I didn't expect her to actually be here.
A smell of smoked weed permeated the air. I could also smell some herbs in the backroom. Nothing was on display, however.
