"Hey," Eve said, patting the top of the crouched form of Dina gently.
"Hey." The Walker said, flashing her a sympathetic smile before shifting to her left.
Eve sat down on the floor, her eyes skimming the place curiously. The narrow corridor that overlooked the large hall below was crowded with patches of white and green. Walkers and servants alike from all over the palace seemed to have settled into their places well before the start of the trial. Thankfully, she had asked the girl to save her a seat, she thought to herself.
Since the corridor ran through all three walls of the hall below, there was ample space to fit in the hundreds of men and women who were now talking amongst themselves in hushed tones. Most of them had a good view of the audience hall which seated at least a good two hundred night creatures in concentric circles around two raised thrones.
