Chapter 27 - Chapter Twenty seven

Alora sat on the chair in the lounge of the room Radolph was welcomed to. She was still tied and still mute. Radolph was studying her as she struggled to break free from the stronghold of the ropes used to two her.

"She looks pretty stubborn." Radolph's beta, Leo shook his head as he watched her struggle with the rope.

"Cut her loose." Radolph said and Leo did as he was told.

Alora rubbed her wrist and arms as she shot Radolph a deadly glare. He just chuckled and stood up, he squatted before her and looked into her eyes with a smirk on his lips.

"You even look more beautiful than the last time I saw you." Radolph held her chin and poured the alcohol with him down her throat and she forcefully gulped it. "You can talk now."

"Get away from me." Alora pushed him away and he couldn't help but chuckle at her push which didn't even affect him at all.

"You need a lot of training, young woman." He stood up and walked back to his seat. "So tell me why did you save that werewolf?"

"It is none of your business." Alora spat and he just shook his head.

"Being stubborn won't help you one bit, Alora. Just be a good girl and don't try to provoke me okay? Then we'll be on good terms." Radolph stood up and patted her hair before walking into his room.

Radolph walked straight to the bathroom where a bath had been prepared for him. He soaked himself into the water and felt all his muscles relax. His ears could pick the conversations of the Lords and generals in Ruger's study. Ruger seemed to be the angry one there.

"They can get her to get her opinion on the matter. Should she go?" Leo asked.

"Yes, let her go but follow her. She might try to play tricks on you." Radolph replied and Leo nodded before walking back to Alora.

He grabbed her arm softly and pulled her out of the lounge towards Ruger's study. Alora didn't say a word because she knew it was useless anyways.

Immediately they got to Ruger's study, he walked out. Ruger quickly rushed to her and checked her to be sure that she wasn't hurt or nothing was wrong.

"Are you okay?" Ruger checked her from head to toe and she nodded before he patted her hair lovingly.

Alora sat before her father and other generals were also seated too. She knew it was about the decision of her leaving with Radolph.

"He wants to marry you Alora, before you leave. I don't like the idea of you being used to stop the war." Ruger hissed and Alora sighed.

"I don't like it either. It isn't great at all. But I have to, I can't be the reason that Arran comes down. Besides, I'm going to be fine right?" Alora hissed.

"I can't assure you Alora but are you sure about this?" Ruger asked and Alora nodded.

Radolph smirked as he heard what they just decided. He couldn't help but be proud of himself. He walked out of the bath and looked at his scarred stomach. It looked like it wasn't healing as fast as he expected. It was silver blades anyways.

Alora walked back to Radolph's room with Leo walking behind her. She seemed to be a bit down. The look on Ilyas face told her he was seriously heartbroken.

As soon as Alora got to the lounge, she heard Radolph's voice that pulled her out of her thoughts. "Come here Alora."

Alora couldn't help but feel like those words felt familiar but she walked towards him. He grabbed her hands and he pulled her down to sit on his lap. She gasped and wanted to push him away but he wrapped his arms around her waist and moved his face closer to her neck. He inhaled her scent and smiled.

"Well, I can tell another man has touched your face and neck. Did he touch you somewhere else?" Radolph held her tighter with a frown on his lips.

"Well I had someone else before you chipped in." Alora frowned and he chuckled.

"You mean Ilyas. You made a bad choice, sweetheart." Radolph rolled his eyes and kissed her neck. "Well, I'll just have to open your eyes and show you the best choice there is."

"Alpha, Ruger is here to see you." Leo informed and Alora used that opportunity to push herself out of Radolph's arms and sat very far from him.

"Well I see you've decided to agree to my proposal haven't you. Well, we would be having the wedding in five days. Well I would have taken her along but you humans tradition makes me sick." Radolph sighed.

"Well, you're the one who wanted to take a so-called human."
