CHAPTER 8
THE day was new to me so I wake up with a smile it's already Monday, I got a late sleep last night after what the heck that I've tell to alyx, I take a bath after that I cook my own breakfast, after I done eating I go to my room to get dress myself I choose my red blouse and I paired it with a white – below the knee length skirt and I paired it with a white two inch high heels.
"Did I care to him? Of course he is my boss brother nahh... I don't know either." I said to myself
I just shrug my head and I let out the deep breathe I get my things and leave my place to get some cab.
I'm already in the front of the office as the cab stops I give my fare to the driver and I quickly get out to the cab, as I look to my watch it's already seven in the morning so I walk quickly towards the elevator.
But the elevator is close so I quickly run to the stairs I walk from ground floor till I reach my office my co-workers staring at me, and I just let them be.
" omoo... aleeza what the fuss?" Marianne said as I reach at my office.
" am I late?" I ask her
" no you are on time, where the hell you are going?" she said as we enter to my office.
" I'm on rush earlier and the freaking elevator closed so I need to run from ground floor until I reach my office." I said while I'm combing myself.
" ohm... by the way I'm here to tell you that ms. Gustavo is calling you." Marianne said
" thanks for informing me, by the way I have to go." I said and I quickly go to the CEO's office.
I knock the door and I open it and it's surprise to see that alyx is wearing a corporate attire, I see miss. Aminah to and I see her mother and the man with the same face with alyx.
" good morning madam and sir." I greeted.
"You're here, by the way honey, this is Ami's secretary aleeza remember the girl that I talk about?" Ms. Gustavo said.
" ohh, Is nice meeting you by the way I'm just here to say thank you for what you've done to make this company better and you help my daughter a lot and I hope you can help my son too." mr. Elloren said
" what do you mean sir?"
" what I mean is , ami is resigning for her to focus at her family, and me and my wife don't want to manage the company to... so we decide our son alyx to take over the CEO's position, he just starting so I hope you can help him." Mr. elloren said.
" of course sir, thank you for your trust it's my pleasure." I said with a smile and as I look to alyx my smile fade away.
I let out the deep breath for a while and I look to ms. Aminah
" I have to go to start my work." I said.
" ohh... no ihja, stay we will exit and you will start teaching my son how to run this company, I trust you." Ms. Gustavo said.
The three exited at the office and I just look at them, my mind is spacing so much I can't believe.
The words that I heard makes me pressure the most, I'm afraid that what if? I failed them, what if I done wrong? So many what if enter in my mind.
" hey are you spacing out?" he ask me and that makes my soul came back to my body from its long traveling I faced him.
He is so darn attractive to with this corporate attire, I swallow my own saliva and I manage myself not to drop a jaw in the front of him. I clear my throat.
" I'm fine by the way, let's start the lesson... it just a basic one but it will make the company improve by the way, just wait for a while I will bring the paper that you will sign." I said then I go out to the office.
I almost catch my own breathe as I close the door of the office... I inhaled and exhaled for three times and I go to my office to get the papers.
It's almost one box that he need to sign-in and his approval, he need to read all the proposals if this proposal is fake or true.
I go back to his office and I put the one box on his table, he is shock as he look at the box his eye brows rise.
" seriously? This?" he said as he point the box that I put on the table.
" yes... that's it your- It's part of your training so yes, you will take a look all of that." I said with a hard tone and I put my two hands in my waist.
" darn... if I know that this will be the hardship that I will face as I accept this freaking responsibility-" he muttered while he is starting to reading the proposals.
I'm just sitting in the couch while I'm doing my own work too...
" be grateful that your parents have this company, don't muttered some words either start your work... muttering words can't help you analyze that proposals." I said.
" what you said makes some sense... here I already classified some." He said.
Look at his desk and I'm shock he just classified those in the minute? I decide to stand up and take a look to the documents that he's classified.
" which is this is the the legit business proposal?" I ask him while looking to the documents that he's classified.
" the left side is the fake one and the right is is the legit one." He said while pointing.
I just nodded and pick the document from the right side which is the legit one.
"seriously? This one is fake... take a look-" I said
I give the paper back to him and he read the proposal back.
" there is no problem in this proposal as I see... why did you say that it's fake?" he said
He put the document back in the desk.
" consider the thing a company offer a fifty percent of stock interest? Ridiculous that will make them down their business... so that is fake." I said
Honestly the paper in the box is all fake proposal that I made as per ms. Aminah request... I just don't know that this will be use in teaching her brother.
" why did you take engineering either than BSBA major in marketing management?" he ask me.
I look away and let out the deep breathe.
" nahh... why did you ask? My life is not interesting at all either." I said and I take back to my seat and fucos again to what I do.
" I am your boss so I can ask some question to you, am I right?" he said
" yeah, you can but not in my personal matters... by the way, here study this and I will do my job first, you can ask me a question about that if you have some misunderstanding concepts." I said
He stand up and get the folder in my mini desk where I work right now, I do what I working without noticing the time. I don't know when? I don't know how? And I don't know why? Either... I fall asleep... and I just realize when I heard his voice.
" Ms. Deogarcia? Hey... aleeza.. wake up!" he said while moving my shoulder.
I awake quickly and I manage myself to be proffessional even if I just awaken.
" I'm sorry sir, did you have something to ask?" I said.
" it's already eleven in the evening, don't you go home? Or what about the late dinner?" he said
I'm shocked as he said that it's already eleven in the evening, like I already pass my lunch
" what? Eleven in the evening?" I said
I don't believe that it's eleven in the evening now it's imposible!
" take a look at your phone either for you to believe." He said
I do what he said and he's is right it's eleven in the evening right now and I got a miss calls from my sisters in the province.
" hell!- I'm sorry" I said
I'm cursing my mind right now, because of anger to myself.
" I'm sorry I – I fall asleep while I'm working that makes me irresponsible employee-" I said
I look down to the floor because I feel ashamed, right know, I want to lost no disappear right now.
" nahh... that's fine let's go I'll send you home now." He said
What he said makes me feel relieve by the way.
" nahh... thank you for the offer sir but I'll be fine." I said with a smile.
I arrange all the papers that I working earlier after that I take a deep breath as I can't get concentrate because he is looking at me.
" I'll go my office first sir." I said
He nodded at me so I go out to his office I just don't expect that his following at me, so I decide to walk faster a bit I heard him chuckled so I stop for a while and face him.
" something is funny?" I ask him
" did I laugh?" he said sarcastically
I just nodded and continue to walk I enter to my office and I get my bag.
" oww... my lunch I already wasted it... what the fuss did I done." I said
I'm shock as I hear that my office door is closing, I look at the door and I see him standing.
" what?"
" are you done?" he ask me
I nodded ... I soppose to go out but suddenly the lights are off.
It's already dark... and my trauma is coming to me.... I'm catching out of breathe, my knees are trembling.
" hell! Open the lights... I'm hell! " I said
I fall in to someone and the lights turn on suddenly and I see him who's holding at me.
" you are scared? I'm here don't worry." He said
" the dark... someone is after on me in the dark." I said
I almost cry like a kid on his shoulders.
" shhh... you are okay don't cry okay you'll be fine."
What he said makes me feel comfortable but suddenly I feel guilty too, they trust me I can't do it either.
