The scene in the sea of lava abruptly took a turn for the worse.
The golden serpent that had radiated majesty and formidable might when it sucked in the poisonous venom, was now madly thrashing on the molten lava. Golden scales flew off as the serpent mindlessly twirled and wriggled in place, and released agonizing shrieks of despair and grief.
This unsettled the beasts of the Underworld Palace.
"This serpentine is too courageous! She dared to suck in such a vicious venom!" Elder Saros felt stifled.
When he saw the Werewolf King face the Lava Flame Frog alone, Elder Saros was filled with excitement and joy. His heart was filled with anticipation as he watched the frog and Wolf King's stalemate.
