Chapter 4 - Holiday in a exotic country

Candy, Ariel, Rick, and Allen, had just arrived when the car pulled at the entrance gates. Getting out of the car, Clary bade goodbye to uncle Ross before reminding him to collect the painting and foot moisturizer in the evening. Swallowing hard, the chauffeur nodded like he was left with no choice.

Clary turned to her friends and greeted them. "I am going to see bald baby after a month. So excited."

"He might also be excited like you, RiRi." Rick teased. "To meet your dad."

"In his dreams, Ricky!" Clary giggled. "Not gonna happen until I graduate!" Her dad will become a possessed demon if he knows about the deeds she did and hid from him. And her Principal will gladly seize the chance to nitpick her.

"Woah!! Is this our college, Clary? What's with these decorums!" Candy blinked in surprise, noticing the balloons at the entrance gates. Her pixie cut perfected the torn jeans and crop top she had put on.

"I wonder, though! Is it your bald baby's birthday, Clary?" Allen asked in surprise, giving his backpack to Clary to do his business. He tucked his black shirt into the pants, sporting that manly look. His ex-girlfriend doesn't like him in formals. She says his masculine body overpowers his cuteness. He will do the exact opposite today to irk her.

"He celebrated his birthday last summer, idiot! Don't you remember?" Ariel smacked Allen on his shoulder. "I thought you lost your brain cells while dating that white lotus. Never knew you lost your memory cells as well. I warned you to be careful around her. Look what happened. She left you, and found another sugar daddy. I knew she was a bitch."

''And if I tell you that your boyfriend, James is an ass, will you believe me?'' Allen argued, throwing the topic on Ariel. The mention of his ex tugged his heartstrings, emptying his soul. Having been suspended for a month, he tried to forget her by being away, but it was harder than he thought.

''He is not!'' Ariel shot him a fierce look for accusing his boyfriend. "Don't talk bad about my baby."

''He is an ass, babe! I will prove it to you soon."

As the two argued, Clary, Rick, and Candy slipped inside the college, knowing their banters would not end any sooner.

The Hellen University was bustling with students early in the morning. Stepping inside the College, Clary was greeted by banners and decorative food stalls throughout the pathway. Classrooms were decorated with balloons and satin flowers. For a moment, Clary thought her Principal had prepared this grandeur to welcome her return from the suspension until she read 'Hellen University welcomes the freshmen' on the banners. Disappointment flashed in her eyes for a second, like she had witnessed a grown hair on her Principal's head.

The professors were busy with the welcoming function. The so-called perfect sophomore students assisted the new students in touring around the college. The problematic students like Clary were hazing the freshmen as a part of Hellen university tradition. She wanted to go for a round, but considering her suspension, Clary decided not to. Hazing is a part of a tradition at her university, but it's within limits.

This is her final year, and one more mistake, she will not be surprised if her principal throws her out of the college for another month, leading to an attendance shortage. He will not let her sit for the final exams.

Clary told herself that food was the best option to keep her thoughts out of her mind. "Let's try the food in the stalls, Candy," Clary dragged her friends to the stalls. A couple of Computer science students trying chocolate mousse jerked in fear upon seeing Clary coming towards the stalls. They threw the dessert and walked in the other direction.

"Looks like the students are still afraid of you, Clary," Rick added, looking for Allen and Ariel. They were still arguing. He wondered if they would ever realize their feelings for each other.

"They might have witnessed me pulling Gwen's hair from the roots in the cafeteria," Clary pressed her lips to suppress her laughter, recalling the bald patch she had created on Gwen's scalp. Did she get a PRP, or is she still holding the bald patch?

By the time Allen and Ariel returned after the arguments, Clary, Rick, and Candy had gobbled up a couple of desserts. Since the classes were not happening today, they lazed around the college for a couple of hours before going to the library to return the book. The librarian whined at Clary for returning the book late, like she had kidnapped his daughter's doll and hid it in a dungeon.

They headed to the cafeteria for lunch until they heard bald baby's welcome speech through the speakers addressing the fresh-year students.

The friends immediately headed to the large open Arena hall and settled in the last row, which was almost empty. Clary saw her principal standing on the podium, addressing the gathering. She was sure he was standing at least three feet above the Dias, on a high-end mount wearing his elevator boots. Without all these arrangements, it would be impossible to see his head from where she sat.

While she was busy chatting with her friends, heads turned to the back, eyes on a certain beauty. The freshmen had long stopped listening to the Principal's lecture the moment Clary stepped inside the Arena. The girls in the front rows looked at her beauty in awe, while men didnot flutter their eyelids, scared that the divine beauty would disappear the moment they shut their eyes for a fraction second. Hots for her nebulous green eyes, they were considering she was a holiday in an exotic country to mesmerize in its beauty.
