Dustin marched into the forest, his rifle locked and loaded. The blood moon cast a glow on him, illuminating his rugged features. The haunting echoes of a bloodcurdling howl pierced through the silence, fueling his anger. He stalked towards the source of the howl. "Come on, you hairy bitches! Let's see what you have got!" He roared, his rifle raised and at the ready. "Do you think I am afraid of your razor-sharp claws or your bone-crushing jaws?" He mocked.
Suddenly, as if the taunt worked, a flicker of movement caught his attention, a blur of glowing light darting at lightning speed. He raised his rifle, poised to strike. However, before he could even pull the trigger, it vanished out of his sight.
