The moon has partly moved in, covering the sun's brilliant radiance. Glowing in shades of shadow and blood. We rushed into the direction the screams were penetrating from. An odd looking creature had Violette dangling by her feet. You'd think that its fellow monsters were hideous, but this one takes the cake. It's beyond imaginable. It's yellow with unmistakable purple stripes. It has, what looks like eight tentacles yet it's covered in feathers. A beak that literally reminds me of an eagle and one eye smack in the middle of its face. My guess, Violette went for a, quick unplanned, swim. If that's indeed the case, my ability would have little to no effect on it. Even so I can't just sit around doing nothing. I whispered a few unknown words under my breath and down came a shower. Kira transformed my rainfall into a winter wonderland, as frozen droplets falls down to Earth. Everybody is here. All of my friends, were apparently Night's friends too.
Yuuki used sonic waves. Toki used magnetism. Rei try his upmost best to destroy the vile creatures, seeing how they always seem to regenerate, with his beautiful blue flames. Everyone worked together. With only one target in mind, 'destroy the scum'. I feel much braver now that Night had arrived. His ability would be at its most dangerous peak now that the Earth is under a shadowy cloak. Within the shadows he can manipulate his opponent and order them to kill each other. The Lunar Eclipse is in full cycle. Underneath its perfect shade, all of the creatures gathered in one place. Lizard, Satyr and bird-like thingies.
Night has always been able to freak me out when he entered destructive mode. He always seemed to have this unique glimmer in his eyes or a coy smile upon his lips. I always thought that it was his reason behind leaving in the first place. In my younger years, we were extremely close. Perhaps he couldn't cope with the fact that I was afraid of him. I'm not afraid anymore. He doesn't scare me like he used to. He took my hand in his as he made his stand beside me and said, "Let's do this together!" I could actually feel that he felt relieved. Relaxed. Glad that we could face these foul things, together as one. Two against an army of demonic scum. As one, we recalled an old poem which, the Doctor, taught us:
"The angels of death, takes his victims
From the castle of the noble;
From the wealthy mansions and the
Cottage of the poor,
Sent forth drops of shadow-rain,
To wash down the blood
That's stained on the lintel and
Side posts of every door."
Our abilities collided. Combined as one. The heavens opened up and down came an peculiar scene. A sight not to be reckoned with. Flecks of shadow mixed with droplets of water. Shadow-rain as we called it, soaked into the enemy's skin. Hopefully with so many particles they won't have the ability to regenerate. Hopefully they don't stand a chance in the matter. Slow and painfully, death came to one and all. As the total Eclipse passed, every single vile creature has been annihilated. We have won the war.
