THE WALKING DEAD ALTERNATIVE SEASON TWO BEINGS.
Season 2: Episode Fourteen.
Chapter Fifty One: 7pm
The walkers finally managed to tear down the fence, flooding into the village.
Clementine scanned the chaos. "Where are Tommy, Kate, Gabriel, and Gabi?"
Javi pointed toward one of the huts. "They're over there."
Clementine set her jaw. "We're leaving."
Javi's eyes widened. "What? You're just gonna leave these people to die?"
"If we don't leave, we will die," Clementine said firmly.
"But—" Javi started.
Clementine cut him off. "We need to take care of ourselves first."
A loud roar echoed through the village, cutting through the noise of the walkers.
The two slowly turned around to see a huge, grotesque walker resembling a mutated monkey.
Javi's face went pale. "What the hell is that?"
Clementine's eyes narrowed. "Bad news."
The mutated walker picked up a regular walker and hurled it at them. Clementine and Javi barely dodged out of the way.
Javi stared in shock. "It's throwing its own kind at us!"
Clementine grabbed his arm. "Less talking, more running!"
They sprinted towards the hut where the others were hiding. Clementine burst through the door, finding Tommy, Kate, Gabriel, and Gabi huddled inside.
"We need to move, now!" she shouted.
Kate's eyes widened. "What's going on?"
"No time to explain," Javi said urgently. "Follow us!"
The group quickly gathered their things and followed Clementine and Javi out of the hut. The mutated walker roared again, its monstrous form closing in on them.
Clementine led the way, navigating through the chaos and debris. The villagers, seeing them flee, began to follow, hoping to escape the relentless horde.
They reached the edge of the village, where Lucy was already waiting with the truck. She had managed to get a few villagers on board, and the engine was running.
"Get in!" Lucy shouted.
Clementine helped everyone into the truck bed, glancing back at the approaching walker. "Go, Lucy! Now!"
Lucy floored the gas pedal, and the truck sped away from the village. The mutated walker roared in frustration, but they were already out of reach.
As they drove away, Clementine looked back at the burning ruins of Luckyville. She felt a pang of guilt for those they couldn't save, but she knew they had made the right choice.
Turning to the others, she spoke with determination. "We'll find a safe place and regroup. This isn't over."
The survivors, though shaken, nodded in agreement.
As they drove away, another mutated walker appeared in the road ahead. With a terrifying roar, it slammed its massive fist down onto the truck, stopping it with a single hit. The impact caused the truck to spin wildly before crashing into the side of the road.
Clementine, dazed but conscious, quickly assessed the situation. "Everyone, get out! Now!"
The group scrambled out of the wrecked truck, their movements frantic. The mutated walker, towering and grotesque, approached with heavy, thudding steps.
Javi grabbed Tommy and helped him out of the truck bed. "We need to move, fast!"
Lucy, her face pale with fear, tried to pull Gabi from the wreckage. "Come on, Gabi! We have to go!"
Clementine turned to face the new threat, her eyes narrowing. "We need to split up. It's our only chance."
Kate nodded, holding Gabriel close. "Where should we go?"
Clementine scanned the surroundings quickly. "Javi, take Kate, Gabriel, and Gabi into the woods. Lucy, you and Tommy come with me. We'll draw it away."
Clementine turned around to the few survivors.Everyone who survived, follow Javi to safety!"
Javi hesitated for a moment, then nodded. "Be careful."
As the groups split, the mutated walker fixated on Clementine and her group. Clementine led Lucy and Tommy in the opposite direction, waving her arms and shouting to keep its attention. "Hey! Over here, you ugly brute!"
The monstrous walker roared in response, lumbering after them. They darted through the trees, dodging branches and underbrush, with the mutated walker crashing through behind them.
Meanwhile, Javi led Kate, Gabriel, Gabi and the few survivors deeper into the woods. They moved quickly but quietly, hoping to put as much distance as possible between them and the walker.
Clementine, Lucy, and Tommy reached a rocky outcrop and scrambled up, hoping to use the terrain to their advantage. Clementine turned, readying her weapon. "We make our stand here."
The mutated walker approached, its grotesque form looming over them. Clementine aimed for its head, firing off a shot. The bullet struck, but the creature only staggered, its thick skull barely affected.
"We need a new plan," Lucy said, fear in her voice.
Tommy pointed to a large boulder precariously balanced on the edge of the outcrop. "What if we push that down on it?"
Clementine nodded, her eyes fierce. "It's worth a shot. Lucy, Tommy, help me push."
The three of them threw their weight against the boulder. The mutated walker growled, reaching out with its massive arms as it got closer. With a final, desperate effort, they managed to dislodge the boulder. It tumbled down, striking the walker squarely and knocking it off its feet.
The creature roared in pain, pinned by the massive rock. Clementine took the opportunity to fire another shot, this time hitting a vulnerable spot. The walker let out one last gurgling growl before going still.
Breathing heavily, Clementine turned to the others. "Let's regroup with the others." When suddenly, a large rock grazed her jaw by a centimeter, cutting it.
Tommy turned around to see the mutated walker standing again. "What the hell?! It's still alive!"
Lucy, her eyes wide with disbelief, muttered, "I thought it died."
Clementine wiped the blood running down her cheek and took out her knife, staring right back at the walker. "You two will be my backup."
Tommy laughed awkwardly. "You know, for someone your age, you're tough."
Lucy, glancing nervously between Clementine and the walker, asked, "I know this isn't the right moment, but how old are you, Clementine?"
Clementine, eyes never leaving the walker, replied, "I'm fourteen."
Without another word, she rushed towards the mutated walker. The monstrous creature roared and launched itself towards her.
Clementine dodged to the side at the last second, slashing at its leg with her knife. The walker stumbled but quickly regained its balance, swinging its massive arm at her. Clementine ducked, feeling the rush of air as the swing narrowly missed her head. She rolled forward, slicing at its other leg in a quick, fluid motion.
The walker let out an enraged howl, its movements becoming more erratic. It grabbed a nearby tree trunk, uprooting it with a terrifying display of strength, and hurled it at Clementine. She leaped out of the way, but the trunk caught her leg, sending her sprawling to the ground.
"Clementine!" Lucy screamed, rushing forward with Tommy to help.
"Stay back!" Clementine shouted, struggling to her feet. "I've got this."
Ignoring the pain in her leg, she charged at the walker again, this time aiming for its eyes. The creature swung its arms wildly, trying to swat her away, but she was too quick. She darted in, slashing at its face. One of her strikes hit true, blinding it in one eye.
Roaring in fury, the walker thrashed around, trying to grab her. Clementine used its blind spot to her advantage, climbing onto its back and stabbing it repeatedly in the neck. The creature bucked and twisted, but she held on, her grip firm and unyielding.
"Come on, you ugly bastard," she muttered through gritted teeth. "Just die already."
Finally, with a powerful thrust, she drove her knife deep into the base of its skull. The walker let out one last gurgling roar before collapsing to the ground, its monstrous body going limp.
Breathing heavily, Clementine climbed off the now truly dead walker. She wiped the blood and sweat from her face, looking at Tommy and Lucy, who stood in stunned silence.
"Now," she said, her voice steady despite the chaos they had just endured, "let's regroup with the others. For real this time."
Tommy and Lucy nodded, their faces a mix of relief and awe. As they made their way through the woods, they finally reunited with Javi, Kate, Gabriel, Gabi and the other survivors.
"We need to find a safe place to rest and figure out our next move," Clementine said.
