Three things before we start real quick:
1. It's always a good thing to go back and read the first few chapters in the book you are writing every now and then, especially if you are writing so many at once. Even I need to do that more because WOW, I have veered very far from (Y/n)'s original character! As well as Herobrine's a bit! Oof. >_< So, yeah, with that reminder, I'll be trying to return to the original themes and character arcs while also keeping what I have written already. (Wow this part was long..)
2. What were the other two things again..? Oh yeah! You are free to take whatever story idea you want from this book and use it in your own book! That's actually one reason why I wrote this in the first place -- I wanted to see more like it. Just.. please share these books with me... I would like to read them too. ^-^
3. And also... What would you like to see more of in this book? Go ahead! Other than the base story I already have here, how I write it is more flexible, so, if you want any more of a certain character, more fight scenes, or whatnot, then feel free to ask for more of that in the comments! :D

Crossing his arms stubbornly, "I know what you are doing here, Steve.."
"I know you know..." Looking back only briefly, the older man finishes writing something more on the paper. "I am counting on it."
It was particularly quiet in that next moment. Nothing but the sound of pencil rubbing against paper, agitating Herobrine to the core.
"Are you seriously here just to punish me with your silence?" Herobrine finally spoke up.
Looking up from his paper with a smirk on his face, "Is it working?"
"Don't play those games with me." speaking sternly, "After that betrayal of yours, you're lucky we haven't personally met one another until now."
"I know. But that just means we have so much to catch up on!... Now, how about we start with your first battle against us: the Battle at Wind Creek. Surely there was a reason behind that."
Herobrine was silent as he looked back down at his feet.
Then, a small chuckle broke from deep within him. "You don't get it, do you?... While you ROT away in that mortal body of yours, I get all of immortality to myself.. I pity you, really. Afterall, you were so naive back then. There's still a chance, however, for you to return... You were always one to seek wisdom -- well, how does a thousand years sound, or even a million?! You would become the wisest in all the world..." An almost, unworldly smirk warped the white eyed man's face.
"I know my brother, and you are not him. I fell for your lies once; never again. My brother may be evil, but he is no temptor.... Besides, I have gained more wisdom in these past twenty years than I ever had in those past hundreds. I know my place.. I am just sorry my brother never found his.... Now, give Herobrine his mouth back so that I can continue the interrogation." Keeping himself calm and assertive, Steve made the other man back off and rethink his words for a moment.
"Ugh.. fine. But you WILL feel the wrath of my ancestors... I have no doubt about that.." And, following that, Herobrine's head drooped to face the floor again. Steve waited patiently until the head rose again, this time with the expression of annoyance clear as day. "The nerve." He spat.
"Alright then.. Where were we?..."

You had heard of chicken soup before, but NEVER had you heard of Spider soup! The worst part about it was that other spiders were the ones cooking and serving the rows upon rows of red tainted soup to the hungry line of soldiers, which implied a whole lot more than you wanted to think about! Taste-wise, it surprisingly wasn't that bad, though, however Anna refused to eat the "ooey gooey spiders," opting out of a relatively decent meal. Eh. You had worse. Even out of the meals served here among the monsters it wasn't the worst. Or, at least it wasn't as trippy as those Chorus Fruit loaves you had tried a couple weeks back, before trying to escape and all that.
Understanding her distaste for the soup, your old team was able to search through the campsite, stealing some steak and potatoes from some unknown soldier who had been hoarding them all this time, and gave them to the little girl. It was pretty cute seeing the monsters closest to you had grown a heart for your young niece, helping her with little things here and there, especially Mandie, who even joked about adopting her every now and then. You were just glad Anna was surrounded by monsters who cared. The only one of the bunch, besides Sandrah of course, who didn't like her was probably Blart, just because he had to be like that and hate everyone...and he also didn't like the jokes about her being almost as tall as him.
"Alright everyone!" A wither skeleton general stood on top of one of the tables while everyone was finishing up and shouted, "It is time to pack up and prepare to head out! Everyone carry your own bags! Don't make others carry them -- unless you are Blart and would literally be crushed by your own bedding." The wither skeleton added, ending with a tilted smile aimed at the little skeleton sitting next to you, who fumed with rage at the joke. No wonder everyone liked picking on him!
You don't have much to pick up but your's and Anna's bedding and a few small trinkets like some mittens Mandie had given to the smol child.
Herobrine arrived soon after all the tents had been taken down and began giving orders to the crew that was in charge of covering everyone's trail. With him came a whole military force of Pillagers and their Ravengers. From there it was all organizing into one mass of an army in along line that would be traveling together in one unit. Pretty standard military stuff. The archers were mostly placed to rim around the mobs best suited for short range fighting, and the Ravengers were basically the spine of the whole thing.
"You're name's Anna, right?" Dangerous white eyed man approaches child. You stop what you were doing to hover around. Anna just nodded. "Well, you have been a good girl lately, so how about we take this thing off?" Herobrine then unlocked the chain around her ankle and picked her up, holding her on his side with one of his arms as he had before. Passing you, "Try to escape and I'll order a cage." Boy, was that man confusing sometimes!...It's possible he even likes it that way..
Once you were all ready to go, you stood beside the front Ravenger Herobrine had saddled, Anna buckled in just behind the Nether king with her back to his. You knew this was all to play with your mind. No way would he actually want to be seen with such a "weak mortal" under any other circumstance. It worked, however, unfortunately. You know if you ever ran, Herobrine would be right there ready to punish you with her life.. It is times like this that you wish you didn't have any relatives at all to keep you trapped like this. But, family instill a good thing so you can't wish too hard.
"Heh, I was beginning to wonder where that was headed." Herobrine smiled down at you. Oh of course he just so happened to be listening in then! You just frown back up at the man and watch him chuckle as he again set his eyes dead ahead. "Alright, men!... We march forward 'til dawn!" And, with that, everyone was moving. You march with the majority. Only a few get the pleasure of riding Ravengers. Most of them are used for carrying supplies. Luckily at least Anna won't have to walk such a long trek. And by the sound of it, it sure will be a long one.
