"Are you going to be okay out there?"
Immediately after asking Hebe that question Julius felt a little silly, he shouldn't forget that she was a goddess, and from what had happened on the ship, she was a pretty powerful one, of course she would be alright.
To everyone's surprise, Marie walked up to Hebe and shoved a little pouch into her hands, the goddess looked down at it confused, "what is this?"
"It's money," Marie responded curtly, "you may be some goddess or whatever but you still need money to survive among humans, so take it."
Hebe opened up the pouch and saw many gold coins and valuable jewelry, she shook her head and handed them back to Marie, "I can't take this Marie, you said these were your life's savings."
"I can always save up some more, so just take the damn money!" Marie's voice was screaming anger but her actions where saying something else.
