"Marley is a very smart and tactical woman," Soteria responded, "I underestimated her."
"But why would she run away?" Artemis questioned the glowing woman, it didn't make sense that Marley would escape someone who supposedly save her life.
"She didn't trust me, she believed that everything I was telling her about all of you, about her life with Apollo, about Hermoine, she thought I was fabricating everything and trying to implant false memories into her head."
Apollo's gaze dropped to the floor, hearing that the woman his heart yearned for didn't even remember him or their child made his sick to his stomach. Had his presence in her life brought so much trauma that she didn't want to recall the moments they shared?
