From above the building, Marley could hear the revolving blades of a helicopter hovering, she walked out of her apartment towards an elevator that led her to the rooftop. Her hair was waving wildly because of all the air pressure from the aircraft, the brunette squint her eyes and looked upwards where she saw a familiar face wave at her.
Marley felt some form of ease having finally seen someone she recognized, even though it was Taishi Nakamura.
A rope ladder was released from the chopper towards the building floor and the man literally slid his way down the ladder to the rooftop. He then gave a signal to the pilot above who retracted the ladder and flew away.
"Marley... baby..."
Taishi pulled Marley into his embrace and hugged her, a little too tightly at that, "I missed you so much you have no idea."
Marley broke the hug and smiled at him, she didn't remember Tai being this affectionate, what had happened to him?
