Back on mount Olympus, above the balcony of Zues' throne room, the god of thunder and Ares were in a cutthroat battle. The battle had already stretched out for over an hour and both the gods had suffered a great deal of injury, yet non where ready to yield, both gods where ready to fight to the very end.
Ares firmed his hold on his spear and pointed it towards Zues, aiming for his slightly exposed chest, the god had never missed a shot with his spear, and he was confident that he was not about to start now.
With a gash of wind, Ares propelled himself towards the god of thunder at a great speed. But Zues had already anticipated Ares' next move and was able to dodge the attack which missed him by a hair.
Ares halted behind Zues fuming, how could this be possible? Were his movements becoming predictable?
