Hermès stroked Cherlynn's hair gently, admiring her beautiful features as they lay in bed enjoying each other's company.
"Hey." Cherlynn spoke. She tilted her head and faced the blue eyed man laying next to her. "Do you think it was a good idea to let Marley and Apollo go all on their own?"
"what do you mean?"
Cherlynn sat up while holding the sheets that were covering her naked body. "It just that ever since that day when I went to Marley's apartment, and found it totally wrecked, it dawned on me that she's in real danger."
Cherlynn locked eyes with Hermès, a look of worry painting her face. "When I saw the blood and the... severed arm, I thought Marley was hurt, or worse. Is it safe for her to be moving around, especially in her state?"
Hermès looked at the girl and smiled warmly at her. Cherlynn was a loose cannon sure, but she cared deeply about the people close to her, and that was something he loved about her.
