Soon Iris's carriage arrived, and she set out for her journey. The journey was a very long, calm and slow one. Iris was grateful that the carriage rider didn't ride with so much speed. She kept staring into the empty road paths as the carriage ran. She remembered princess Arainna. How sure was she, that Red had delivered the note to princess Arainna?
Red is her bunk mate. Red had always wanted a conversation with Iris, but Iris never gave her an audience. Red was a quiet girl as Iris. She always looked at Iris with a bright eye, in earnest expectation that Iris would atleast allow her self to be engaged in a conversation. Iris was aware of Red's desire, but wasn't interested at all.
Before she embarked on her journey, she noticed Red sitting calmly on her bed. She had taught of every possible means of delivering the note she had written to Arianna, but couldn't come up with any idea. Then she thought to try Red. She begged red to deliver the note without allowing Arainna know who delivered it, and that she mustn't also read the content of the note. Red promised to do it, as she wanted to impress Iris and perhaps become friends with Iris. However Iris didn't give her the hint that she was travelling. As soon as Red left for the delivery, Iris herself left to wait for her carriage.
Iris was seriously worried. She wasn't even sure if she was ever going to return to St Lucia again, but she wished Red would do a clean job on the note delivery. She knew that Arainna would act with immediate effect if she ever gets in touch with the message on the note.
" What's going to be now ? " Iris asked with a sigh. " Ferdinand had sent a message that he would come tomorrow, what would he think if I don't show up ? " She asked her self with her eyes widely opened. " Oh God I am tired of being used and molested by this devil of a man " tears gathered around Iris's eyes as she held her breast tenderly, thinking to herself.
" I can not get a hold on my conscience anymore. I must go to see mom and Brian one of this days, I need to know how they are faring. " She said quietly poking her head out of the carriage, and looking up into the sky. She was quiet for some time. " I wish there was a way of escape. Why me! Why on earth did Ferdinand choose me. I curse the day I met that jerk, he has gradually wrecked my life " she said spitting out of the carriage, full of irritation.
Iris returned her head into the carriage and closed her eyes in deep thoughts... The journey continued slowly and smoothly. " It's only a matter of time Iris, things will fall into pleasant places " she muttered to her self patting her shoulders, still closing her eyes. She fell into a slumber...
Iris opened her eyes in shock, as the carriage pulled over with a force. She was quiet and just used her eyes to observe her surrounding. " Anything the matter? "She asked the carriage rider. The carriage rider didn't give a reply. Before Iris could ask anything again, two broad chested guys appeared by her side. They joined her in the carriage. One sat to her left, and the other to her right, leaving her at the middle of them both. Iris didn't know what was happening, but she felt cold all of a sudden. She knew it was nothing good, she couldn't even speak for fear of the men. She just bent her head low, while her heart beat increased immensely.
They had gotten to the Kingdom, Iris knew her way around the kingdom very well. She was sure that the route they had taken was not leading to the palace. Hot tears clustered around Iris's eyes " oh God where are this people taking me to ? I knew it , I knew that the queen never meant good, I kept feeling something wrong about this journey. Are they going to get me killed ? " Iris taught to her self as she vibrated, letting out the accumulated tears in her eyes.
The day was turning really dark. They had completely rode out of their kingdom. They rode on a very lonely road, untill they came to a very tall building. They all came down. One of the men aggressively spoke to Iris " you come down! " Iris climbed down still shaking with fight. They men shared themselves in twos, leaving Iris at their middle. They walked into the building, it was dark and creepy.
