Melissa is walking on the road while staggering. Her eyes are void of emotions.
She keeps on bumping from one person to another.
"Hey! Look for yourself okay?" a man, on his thirties, shouted as he pulled the two years old Melissa. A sudden brake of the car slammed heavily on the air.
"Shit! You are almost run by me!" a twenty years old man whined inside his car while staring at Melissa.
"Hey! Are you even listening?!" he shouted and was about to grab Melissa's arms but was stopped by a young man's voice. It is obvious that the young man is still a sprouting youth.
"Hey, little sister. You should be careful. Take care of yourself so that you will not be harm by others, okay?" the young man said as he looked at the two years old little girl, standing at the roadside beside their car.
"Here's the cash I have on hand. Use it to feed yourself, okay?" the young man said with concern.
Melissa looked at the young man's frowning foreheads. She clenched her hands and the money crimpled. She knows that the young man in front of her, is just concern because she was almost ran by their car.
"T-Thank you" Melissa hoarsely said and left. She doesn't want to stay any longer in front of that young man.
Since the time her mother showed her evil intentions, she doesn't want to be with anyone else right now.
Being alone is supplement to her exhausted mind.
However, the young man didn't immediately go away but stared at the little girl.
"What's your name?" the young man asked.
Melissa scrutinized the young man's luxurious clothes. She blinked innocently and said, "Melissa Mon-...." as she was about to reveal her complete name but it reminded her of her own mother's hatred face so she stopped herself to continue.
The man on the driver seat sneered as he saw the little girl scrutinizing his nephew.
"Melissa..." the young man repeatedly said and was about to ask her surname but the little girl is gone.
"Why are you bothering yourself on strangers, Gabriel?" the young man on the driver seat asked. He's Mark Santiago, 8th and the youngest son of Santiago Family.
"Nothing" the young man, whose name is Gabriel, said. He's Gabriel Santiago. The only son and heir of Erickson Santiago and Alicia Green.
They immediately drove off on the road.
She found a barbeque stall and bought ten sticks of barbeque beef meat. She eats it heartily because it is the first time she eats meat freely.
Rosalina didn't let her eat any nutritional foods. That's why she's so malnourished!
After eating, she goes to the park and sit on the swaying chair. She doesn't have an energy of a usual child because everything goes to her psychokinesis power.
She stared at her hands and questioned herself as to why does she have such power.
She's not a superhero nor a heiress of wealthy family to be blessed by psychokinesis power....right?
Melissa just stayed there for six hours until the sun almost set.
Suddenly, a limousine parked outside the park and the window slowly pulled down. A man on his forties, is staring at the two years old Melissa.
He's Erickson Santiago, the Lord of International Underground World.
"Is she the girl?" Erickson asked to the man on his fifties in front of him.
He's Cloud Valeria, the legal lawyer of Erickson Santiago.
Although Erickson is the Lord of International Underground World, he still needs a lawyer as a mediator or negotiator when dealing with businessmen in the Business Industry.
"Certainly. She's the girl with black butterfly birthmark on her back.
"Don't underestimate such child. Agent R reported to me about the incidents inside the Montecillio House" Cloud stated as he shared what happened according to the report of Agent R.
"Interesting" Erickson said as he began to become interested, not intimately, on that child but he has no intention to get closer to the child.
'Fate will bring people together' and that's his belief until now.
Then, his phone rings. The ringtone is the song made by his wife, Alicia Green. She's mixed race of half American and half Filipina.
Erickson answered the call and heard his wife's concerned tone. He smiled.
"I'll be back, Honey" he gently replied and ended the call. His gentle side earlier is now replaced by a serious and aloof countenance.
"Let's go back to Santiago Mansion" he said to his personal chaffeur. The chaffeur nodded and drove off the car towards the direction of the Santiago private territory mainly for the Santiago Family.
Also, Mark Santiago is also heading on the way to the Santiago Family.
Meanwhile, in Stone Family.
A little girl loudly cried in front of her father. Erwin felt heartache for his precious daughter.
"What's wrong?" Erwin asked as he kneeled in front of her and wiped away her tears.
The little girl still keeps crying as she tugged on her father's suit.
"Daddy, I had a dream about a woman. She's crying because of bad men bullying her. She's crying for help" the little girl sniffled as she pitifully to her father.
Erwin's eyes softened.
"Alright. Alright. Daddy will do everything for our precious, okay? But after we found your missing uncle's whereabouts.
The little girl nodded and hugged her father tightly.
Then, Eleanor Fritz Stone just arrived. She saw her husband and daughter on the living room together.
She smiles and goes to their direction.
"Hubby! I'm home!" and pounced herself to Erwin's arms.
The little girl becomes irritated because of her mother's arrival. She doesn't know why but she hates this woman she called mother.
Although she's still two years old child, she can already recognized hate and love, not wrong and right.
"Ohhh! My precious Louisa is pouting. Do you miss, Mommy?" Eleanor teased her daughter as she kissed her cheeks.
Louisa rolled her eyes and pounced on Eleanor's arms, "I miss you, Mommy!" she smiles brightly and kisses her mommy back.
Eleanor felt satisfied of her daughter and hugged her tightly.
"Oh, yeah. I forgot to tell you. The Santiago will visit us on two days" Erwin said as he put his arms around his wife's waist and hugged her tightly from behind. Eleanor blushes.
"Okay. I'll arrange it" Eleanor replied.
"I leave it to you, wifey" Erwin kissed Eleanor's neck sweetly.
Suddenly, an engine car sounded outside the mansion and it is obvious that a guest arrived.
Erwin walked on the hallway to the door and saw a man in black suit carrying a suitcase.
"Lawyer Dane, Welcome to Stone Family" Erwin smiled and stretched out his right hand for the handshakes.
Lawyer Dane handshakes with Erwin and they go to his father's study room.
"Dad, Lawyer Dane is here" as he knocked on the door three times until they heard a voice allowing them to enter.
"Welcome to my Stone Mansion, Lawyer Dane." Old Master Stone warmly shook hands with Lawyer Dane.
"How are you, Old Master Stone?" Lawyer Dane asked with worries on his face as he looked at his father's face.
Dane Stone is the second son of Timothy Stone and Kelly Felix, and younger brother of Erwin.
By using his pet name 'Lawyer Dane', is just to tease him.
Old Master Stone nodded with satisfaction on his second son's success in Legal Law Industry.
"I thought you need two weeks to finish the investigation of Erson's whereabouts. So, why are you here?" Old Master Stone asked as he clenched his hands into a fist.
Erson is his third son but he went missing when he was a ten years old.
His three sons are one year apart. Because of his wife's consecutive years of pregnancy, her constitution worsened. Fortunately, she still be able to survive. He didn't want another offspring as he feared that his wife couldn't take it anymore.
Having three sons are enough for the Stone Family bloodlines. Fortunately, his two sons are filial and doesn't fight for the family inheritance.
His first son, Erwin, took the 25% shares of the company and his second son Dane Stone took the 15% of the company shares as he doesn't want to fight against his elder brother for the Stone Corporation. Also, he chose Legal Law Industry route for himself.
There's remaining 20% company shares for his third son Erson Stone who went missing. Unfortunately, there's no news about him at all.
The 40% company shares is under the name of Old Master Stone and his wife.
"That's why I'm here, Brother Erwin" Dane solemnly said as he took out a documents from his suitcase and placed it on the table.
There are three photos beside the documents.
"Brother Erson got drunk two years ago and had a one night stand with the woman named Rosalina Montecillio"
"The one night stand shouldn't happen if it was no because of Rosalina's reckless planning on drugging Erickson Santiago that night."
"Unfortunately, she didn't know that she was caught red-handedly but Brother Erson was so kind to help a drunk woman so he brought her at the third floor room 63 to rest."
"However, he was tempted and it happened. After that, the woman ran away. The woman thought that the father of her child is Erickson Santiago and hides themselves."
"Fortunately, Brother Erson found them and married the woman while hiding the fact that it is he who slept with her that night."
"However, the woman is greedy. She found an excuse to go the city and married a rich man. Brother Erson raised his daughter for six months before he looked for his wife."
"When he found out that his wife married another man with another identity while hiding the fact that she's already married, Brother Erson begged the rich man."
"Unfortunately, the rich man was so angry and killed Brother Erson by by shooting him at the head. He also chased away the woman and the woman went back to the countryside. The two years old daughter of Brother Erson buried him properly"
"Within four months after Brother Erson's death, I cannot find the trace of his daughter so I went to Brother Erson's house and found a dazed woman inside her room."
"When she looked at me, her face changed and screamed like a crazy woman. I called a psychiatrist and they claimed that she became a psychopath."
"She keeps on blubbering about their daughter who run way because of her attempt to kill her. Until now, we cannot find Brother Erson's daughter"
Old Master Stone and Erwin Stone didn't interfere the narration of Dane Stone about what happened to Erson Stone.
However, Old Master Stone felt pain when he heard that his third son died because of a woman. He cried for losing his son's life and the time they couldn't have to be together.
"So, what's situation on Brother Erson's murder case?" Erwin asked as his face showed anger because his younger brother died and sorrow because he didn't see hi younger brother.
"I already took the case. The murderer tried to cover up the case but can he really fight against a Stone?" Dane viciously smirked as he formulate numerous torture plans for the murderer.
"Very good, Brother Dane" Erwin nodded but still felt sad for losing his younger brother. Although they hadn't seen him for twenty years, he is still their biological brother and that will never changed.
"For now, we are looking for Brother Erson's daughter. We mobilized our men to look for her in every corner of the country. I hope nothing bad happens" Dane said as his hands shook for extreme stimulation of losing a brother and now they cannot find his younger brother's daughter.
