Dark and hungry. Those were the only two things it thought at first. After that, it realized it was alone. It didn't even exist. It was separated from everything. Nothing could even hope to come close to the despair it felt. It would never be able to sate it's overwhelming gluttonous nature.
However, while it started to internally wallow in despair, it started moving. It was so slow at first that it didn't even realize what happened, but it got faster as time went.
Slowly it realized what was happening to it. Something was changing. It had been stuck at one point for who knows how long. Nothing had ever changed before. For a moment it was curious. Why did something change now? That curiosity was soon replaced with excitement. It had hope. Hope that it could sate its never ending hunger.
It realized that it was moving up. It slowly started to see more than just the black abyss. It saw tiny white dots on the abyss. It saw large grey masses of different shapes and sizes. It saw large colorful spheres, some of which were very hot. It even saw saw slim, grey, oval-like things that had see through material in front and blue things that were in the back.
For it, everything was wonderful. It had stayed a long time in the abyss, and it had never seen anything like this. Then it realized it was heading straight into one of the big spheres. This one was blue and green with white stuff floating around it. It went towards it at what would normally be a alarming rate. Of course, it didn't know this as it was always shrouded by abyss.
It went so fast it couldn't even register what happened. Then it felt something. Not a emotion, but something else. Touch. Then slowly it opened its eyes. It saw a whole Bunch of brown things cylinders with green things on the end. It was very interesting. What interested it the most though was the floating box that had four arrows pointing at it.
Out of instinct, it pressed the button. That was when it realized it had hands. Or more accurately paws. Then it realized that it knew what paws and hands were. It realized that what it saw were planets, stars, asteroids, and spaceships. It realized that there were trees in front of it. It's head hurt from the sudden influx of information.
*Ding*
Another box popped up in front of it. It realized it could read it fine despite not even knowing what reading was not 10 seconds ago. When it's head finally stopped hurting it looked up at the rectangular blue box and started reading.
"Greetings 'Gluttony.' You are a being created by the lord of the abyss. Congratulations! His grand lordship has created you for a grand purpose. To collect the legendary skill 'Seven Sins Series: Sin of Gluttony' and the title 'Gluttonous Devourer.' You are one of the six who were created in order to gain a legendary skill. Not all are expected to succeed, but if one does it they will be rewarded greatly. Your fellow creations are: Wrath, Lust, Avarice, Sloth, and Envy. First of, due to the lords efforts in creating all of you, it is recommended that no infighting commences. Secondly, the forms you are in have been selected to fit the sin you will inhabit. Out of instinct, it pressed the button. All of the sudden it's head felt like it split in half. Boxes were popping up everywhere.
"Control implant insertion failed"
"Error: main function overridden by creator."
"Error: secondary functions nullified."
"Error: full program termination"
Then it stopped. Everything stopped. The boxes disappeared and the pain went away. It did not see the boxes while it was crouched over in pain, so it did not know what happened. It decided anyway though, that whoever the lord of the abyss is, it would not trust him. Still it tried opening the status like the lord said. It figured that the lords plan was to just make it feel pain when it touched the button.

It saw a load of info pop up all at once. It knew what some of it meant. It know it was a wolf. It knew it didn't have a name. It knew nothing else. It was then that it decided it needed a name. What should it be named though?

Why did it choose Fir as his name? He himself didn't know. However when he first awoke he was in the abyss. That was why he chose Abyss-born. He felt that was what he was.

However, after a few more seconds all he could feel was hunger. He saw a bush with some blue berries on them. Fir had never eaten anything before, despite the lord of the abyss telling him that he was going to be Gluttony. To him, these berries were the best things in the world. He had felt hunger. Hunger was ever present in him due to what the lord of the abyss did. There was never a way to relieve it though. In half a minute he had eaten all the berries off the bush.
He looked up at the sky in satisfaction. Then he realized something. He couldn't see the sky. Where the sky should be, there was a ceiling of grey stone. He realized where he was by the common knowledge given to him.
He was in a dungeon.
