Following his death at the hands of Taiyang Yuan's Solar Flames and manifestation above the River of Time, Qiu Meng was full of indignation, resentment and seething with the thirst to make all Divine Spirits pay for the injustice that the Celestial Hall suffered.
He thanked fate for giving him an opportunity to escape death and swore to use the knowledge gleaned from the River of Time to plan his comeback. However, the time above the River was like a journey through eternal limbo. After 10,000 years of going through myriad variations of the future, yet still finding events that replayed regardless of the road taken, Qiu Meng despaired.
