Chapter One: Wake up
Aki's POV
From lying down, I got up to sit on the hammock as I could see better the beauty of the sea in front of me. The sunset is already set and the sky is filled with the colors of orange and pink. The coming of the afternoon was ignored by the people in the sea as they are still happily diving and swimming in the sea. While the others are sitting in the sand as they make stories with their friends and families. On the other side, there are people jamming and people like me who are watching the sunset in front.
All of His works are truly amazing. But of all the works He made, the woman lying in the hammock I was sitting on was my favorite.
"Aki!" I've heard from my back that's why I immediately turned around there. "Come here and have some snacks!" said Tita Melanie, the mom of Sab.
"Okay, tita! We'll just be here for a quite time." Sab moved from my noise.
I didn't speak again and just signaled Tita that Sab was sleeping. Tita laugh but gave me an okay sign and left. I went back to lie down when darkness finally swallowed the sky and hugged the woman I loved because of the cool breeze the night brought.
I couldn't help but stare at her face. She looks like an angel frowning in sleep.
"What are you dreaming, baby?" I fix her hair and put it on her left ear. "Is it bad? Then, I'll make it go away." I said as if she's hearing me.
"I love you," I whispered and left her a kiss on her forehead.
I just can't believe that two months from now, I will be tying the knot with this pretty lady that I had always dreamed of. The woman that I was just sitting next to on the bus and spilled a coffee on my school uniform. It was good old times. I shrugged and laughed when I remembered that scene. That was the first time I saw her. And if we are already married and she will still have bad dreams, I won't be tired of letting them go every day.
"Aki! Aki! Wake up!"
