The smile on Luo Feiran's face faded a little, but she still took the things and nodded with a smile.
The assistant left after completing his task.
When Luo Fusheng came back and saw that the person had left, he asked, "Why did Master Lu send someone here?"
Luo Feiran took out the gown and flowers and said, "To bring these."
Luo Fusheng looked at his eldest daughter with a hint of joy in his eyes. He said, "Are these gifts from Master Lu?"
Luo Feiran didn't deny it. Instead, she smiled shyly.
Pleased, Luo Fusheng smiled and said, "Feiran, prepare well for this Milan dinner party."
He was hinting that he was prepared to connect her with Master Lu at the dinner party. Luo Feiran's eyes flashed with a trace of ambition. She asked worriedly, "Should we let Little Sister go with us to this party?"
Luo Fusheng's expression turned cold. "No need."
Only then did she nod in relief and return to her room with the gown and flowers.
Luo Fusheng didn't understand what Master Lu was doing. He had clearly said that Luo Yinan had to be present, so why did he send Feiran a gown?
Whatever the case, this was good news. If that ingrate Luo Yinan really managed to get close to Master Lu, the Luo family would be finished. It would be best if Feiran could get close to Master Lu during this dinner party.
Everyone had their own plans. Luo Yinan had already arrived at the airport. Looking at the time, it was less than half an hour to three o'clock. She found a cafe and sat down.
At three o'clock, a woman in a simple T-shirt and jeans walked out of the airport. Her supermodel demeanor made everyone turn to look at her. She was used to such stares and didn't pay them any attention. She just looked around quickly for someone.
When Luo Yinan saw her, she walked out of the cafe. The moment she appeared, she attracted a lot of attention. Mary charged over, screaming as she ran. "Kai, I missed you so much."
This voice instantly ruined her cool air and attracted even more attention.
Luo Yinan touched her glasses and did a swift turn, not even looking at the woman who had charged over.
"Why didn't you wait for me?" Mary angrily wrapped her arms around her neck from behind. As soon as she touched Luo Yinan, the latter grabbed her wrist, as if to throw her over her shoulder. Mary hurriedly begged for forgiveness. "I was wrong, I was wrong."
Only then did Luo Yinan let go of her. "Shut up and follow me."
Mary pouted and followed behind her.
The two of them exited the airport. Luo Yinan opened the trunk of the car and took out the 99 red, purple, and blue roses. She handed them to Mary.
Mary's grievance was swept away, and she pounced on Luo Yinan in delight. "I knew it, you're the best."
This time, Luo Yinan didn't dodge, and she smiled. "Alright, get up. You're going to crush me to death."
Mary got up and took the roses. "You still know my heart the best."
Luo Yinan drove her to a condo unit that she had just gotten someone to tidy up. She had bought the place when she just returned to the country. She handed Mary the key. "You can stay here. Everything you want is here."
The door opened into a living room filled with the things Luo Yinan had bought at the mall earlier.
This grand old lady wanted all these things when she was on a trip: Luo Yinan had to wear a three-piece suit and bring roses in three different colors when picking her up at the airport. She wouldn't stay in a hotel, and only wanted to stay in an apartment. She also had to have colorful household items.
Mary took out drinking glasses, towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, slippers, pajamas and so on from the various bags… Looking at the loud prints on these things, she was very satisfied. Luo Yinan quickly turned again to avoid the figure which lunged at her once more.
Mary threw herself onto the couch and said miserably, "Kai, you're too cold to me."
Luo Yinan rubbed her tummy and ignored her whining as she said, "Do you still want to eat or not tonight?"
