Chapter 22 - Was It You Who Caused Grandpa’s Death

Cheng Nuo knew that she was pretending not to understand. She asked coldly, "What are you pretending for? Last night, you slandered me, and now it's starting again?"

She had just woken up in the morning when she saw the message on her phone. Last night, Cheng Die had been slandering her during the live broadcast, so she couldn't be bothered with her. She didn't expect that it would start again so early in the morning.

Cheng Die didn't interrupt the live broadcast. Cheng Nuo's conversation with her was recorded very clearly.

Cheng Die frowned slightly, "I know you don't believe me, but I didn't slander you! I really do treat you as my sister!"

A chuckle came from the phone. Cheng Nuo laughed coldly, "Treat me as your sister? You put on a really good show!"

Cheng Die quietly raised her eyes and looked at the computer screen. She immediately said, "I'm just telling the truth. Yesterday, when I paid my respects to Grandpa, didn't you slap me?"

"Yes, I did slap you. Didn't you deserve it?"

Cheng Nuo's words were filled with anger.

Cheng Die secretly laughed in her heart, but she looked wronged on the surface. She followed those words and took advantage of the situation.

"It's fine if you're not filial to Grandpa, but won't you allow me to be filial to Grandpa? Let me ask you, back when Grandpa died, you were the only one in the room. Did you cause Grandpa's death?"

When Cheng Nuo heard this, she burst out laughing out of anger, then questioned coldly, "Your lie is really watertight. Are you filial to Grandpa? Can you honestly say that you're filial? After Grandpa was seriously ill, was there anyone in your family willing to wait on him in front of the hospital bed?"

Cheng Die did not know how to refute her for a moment. She let out a breath and said, "But when I went upstairs, I saw you stabbing Grandpa with something. You even said that you hated Grandpa!"

Before Cheng Nuo could reply, the live broadcast room suddenly exploded!

"What? She actually stabbed the old man with a needle? What kind of mentality does this person have?"

"The old man's illness is already pitiful enough. No wonder it was reported a few years ago that Cheng Nuo killed Grandpa!"

"Isn't this kind of person afraid of retribution? That's a living person! Could it be that he was tortured to death?"

"Is this Cheng Nuo a pervert?"

"The person above + 1. I suspect that she has a mental problem! How could a normal person do such a thing?"

"+ 1 + 1!"

A large group of people flooded into the live broadcast room. The bullet comments went on, one after another. They were either scolding Cheng Nuo or questioning if she was mentally ill? In a short while, Cheng Die's live broadcast room became uncontrollable.

"What's going on?"

A moment later, the live broadcast suddenly stopped. Cheng Die was forced to stop broadcasting. She frowned and quickly hung up the phone, then started to complain, but the platform told her that it was spreading false information. Cheng Die tried for a long time, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't start broadcasting again. She was so angry that she stomped her feet.

What she didn't know was that forcing her to turn the broadcast off was just foreplay.

Then, a newly registered account suddenly released a video. It was a video depicting bullying in school. In the video, a girl in a short, blue skirt was holding the collar of another girl, slapping her repeatedly. The girl in blue could clearly be recognized as Cheng Die, but the makeup on her face wasn't that thick at that time.

She kept asking, "Do you know you're wrong?"

One side of the other girl's face was swollen beyond recognition, and blood kept seeping out of the corner of her mouth. She couldn't speak clearly but still tried, "I know I'm wrong. Don't hit me... It hurts..."

Cheng Die sneered, then threw the girl to the ground and looked down at her.

"What did you do wrong?"

The little girl trembled as she curled up and sobbed.
