"What do you want to eat?" Kevin asked Mila who was busy looking at the menu in her hand.
"Just like you, I'm confused about what to eat." She said as she closed the menu book and placed it on the table.
"Okay, I'll call the waiter first."
After that Kevin immediately raised one hand to call a restaurant waiter.
"Good night, Sir. Ready to order?"
"I would like to order two Australian tenderloin steaks which are medium rare with mushroom sauce, and for the drink only orange juice. Oh yeah, add two chocolate lava cakes for dessert."
"Okay, Sir. I repeated the order, for the food, there were two Australian tenderloin steaks which were medium rare with mushroom sauce, the drink was orange juice and the dessert was 2 chocolate lava cakes. Anything else, Sir?"
"No -"
"Don't use mushrooms in one sauce, just garlic!" before Kevin managed to answer the waiter's question, Mila cut it first. It made Kevin snicker.
"Are you allergic to mushrooms?"
Mila shook her head. "No, I just don't like mushrooms."
And that managed to make Kevin squeak. "Earlier when I asked you, you said whatever, now you protest. What's wrong with you?"
Mila glared sharply when Kevin scolded her. "Well, I didn't know that you were going to order the one with mushrooms."
"So next time don't just let it go!" Kevin was still arguing with Mila, making Mila annoyed by it.
"Why are you so mad? I'm just changing the sauce. Don't change all your orders either."
"Yeah but still -"
"Should we really debate such a small matter in front of other people?" Mila said that by casting her gaze at the maid who was still standing near them. Making Kevin clear his throat afterwards. "Ehemm. Yes, the other one, the sauce is replaced with garlic. That's all."
"Okay, then wait 15 minutes, Sir. If there is an additional order, you can call me back. Excuse me."
After the waiter left, Kevin restarted their argument that was forced to stop before.
"Now you start showing your true form, huh?" Kevin quipped, sarcastically. Makes Mila really want to hit Kevin's head.
How annoying her future husband is! Good grief.
Future husband? Mila wasn't sure she could stay with him for a year.
"Why is it? Still not satisfied with the debate?" Mila said calmly. She was tired of dealing with Kevin's absurd behavior.
"Not yet. I really don't like it when someone cuts me off just like that."
"Oh yeah, just like me. I also don't like annoying guys who like to play with sarcasm!" replied Mila, already in defensive mode it seems.
Mila was determined that she would reply to all the words of Kevin who wanted to argue with her. Kevin thinks Mila will lose to him like that? Oh don't hope!
"Those annoying guys, you mean me?"
"Yeah, who else is it?" Mila curls one corner of her thin lips, making Kevin stare blankly at the girl in front of him.
But before Kevin could reply to Mila's words, someone caught his attention first.
"Kevin? Is this really you? Geez, I thought I'm wrong. How are you?" A beautiful woman wearing a white dress with a layer of pink blazer approached Kevin, making Mila frown.
Her face was familiar.
"Luna? What are you doing here?" Kevin replied, with a tone of displeasure that was clear from his words.
"Why do you ask that, Honey? You don't like to meet me?"
Dear? What the f*** Is this ? Who is she to call Kevin 'dear'? That's the question on Mila's mind right now.
And for that question Kevin just kept quiet, didn't answer the woman who Kevin had called Luna.
"Who is she? And why did she come with you?" She asked, pointing at Mila with his haughty gaze, making Kevin casually reply, "She's my future wife, and we're having dinner. So, I think you should go now."
Luna was surprised by Kevin's words just now, then her eyes turned to look at Mila from top to bottom, assessing her appearance.
"Her appearance is okay, but she's not sexy. Are you sure she's your future wife?"
Not sexy she said? Even though according to Kevin, compared to Luna, Mila is much sexier.
Especially if the back of her back is visible because of the clothes she is wearing now. But Kevin told Mila to lower her hair, so her back is covered.
The reason? Of course, because Kevin didn't want that beautiful sight from her future wife to be seen by another man.
Hey, only he can enjoy the beauty of his future wife's body. The others, Kevin certainly did not allow.
"You must be lying, right? She must be just a work partner, because as far as I know you don't have a girlfriend!"
"Then, what? Do you really have to know the privacy of my life? You are nobody for me." Kevin deliberately emphasized every word so that Luna realized where she really was.
"Yes, it's not like that, Vin, but Grandma said that she wanted to marry us. But why are you even-"
"That's grandma, not me. Better if you go now, I want quality time with my future wife."
"Why are you kicking me anyway?" Luna released the emotions that had been suppressed in her for a while, making Mila inevitably interfere in this matter.
"Miss, I'm sorry. But, you heard what my future husband said, right? I'm sure you're smart enough to understand what that means. So please, it's better if you go, because your presence here disturbs our privacy."
Mila said that firmly right in front of Luna who was standing in front of her, but Luna just ignored Mila's words, and turned to sit on Kevin's lap.
It made Mila roll her eyes when she saw it.
"Luna, what the hell are you doing?!" So surprised, Kevin was confused about what to do.
"I'm not pretty, huh? Why did you choose her over me?" She asked, in a tone that was deliberately seductive. Makes Mila feel disgusted when she hears it.
Not wanting to be more upset by what she saw, Mila finally chose to step out of the restaurant with her small bag. And at that moment, Kevin deliberately pushed Luna's body until the woman was forced to get up from Kevin's lap.
"You're crazy, huh?! Because of you, my future wife left! You're totally insane!" After saying that, Kevin also stepped out of the restaurant, following Mila who left first.
"Shit! Why is it so hard for him to be attracted to me? What am I lacking?!"
"Uh, Ma'am, just a minute. How's this food?" The waiter who had just delivered Kevin and Mila's food stopped Luna when she wanted to leave.
"Why do you ask me? I didn't order it."
"Yes, but your friend hasn't paid for the food yet."
"They are not my friends!" said Luna.
"But, you really have to pay. If not, I can report you to the police station on charges of –"
"OKAY! FUCK THIS! I WAS SO FUCKING UP TODAY!" Luna cursed out.
