"Now... all these zombies... every single one of them... they used to be alive... well... healthy... happy" Eugene explained as the others listened on their beds. The room was dark and lit up with lanterns; blankets keeping them warm and comfortable.
"It all started with a druzel named Ingua Kauju" Eugene says. "Ingua?" Mikey said in his head. "In 1879-" Eugene tried to tell the story, "Wait, didn't you say 1897?" Vonda asked. Eugene smiled nervously "Uh- I don't know, but forget it. I don't know the actual date, so let's just say 1897"
"Okay" she said. "In 1897, on the continent of Uapeisios, Western of the Kepkurian map, a man named Ingua Kauju has discovered something amazing... something... that Will cause damage to everything..."
1987, TOHAUGI VILLAGE
Ingua walks around a beautiful pond with a waterfall next to it. While he looks at the scenery, he thinks of his dead grandmother, Kiaush Kauju. He begins crying as he looked below him to see a plant he's never seen before. "Hm?" He asked himself as he wipes his tears and looked at the plant. It looked like a cauliflower, but it's red. "What is this?" He picks it up and examines the plant.
Later that day, he's in his room, walking around while the plant sits there on his desk. What also lies around in his room are medicine, bottles filled with medicine, herbs, and bandages. He's a doctor. "Maybe it's healthy... or is it? Why am I now thinking about this??" He talks to himself, thinking if he should use the plant to test on one of his patients. And that's exactly what he did.
The next day, Ingua mixes the plant with a few others to create a new type of medicine, hoping to heal sickness. He takes it to the hospital and feeds it to a woman named Eshin Yauziok, a one-hundred and three year old druzel who's dying of sickness and on the verge of passing.
"Here, take this. It'll help you feel better, Eshin" Ingua assured. He did a bit more examining last night and found that the plant has good nutrients. She drinks the medicine and also eating the chunks inside the medicine.
"How do you feel, Eshin?" Ingua asked. While she was sitting upright, her eyes begin to close as her head drops down toward her chest. "Eshin?" Ingua called her name "Eshin??? Eshin???? Eshin!!?" He begin screaming. Suddenly, she wakes up with her eyes widened. She begins to smile as she slowly twitches her head to look at Ingua. Her whole body began twitching for a few times as she says "I- Ingua... I feel... I feel so good... I feel much better!! What was in that medicine!!?" She shouted while smiling wide.
Ingua was shocked, his mouth opened wide as he answers "The herb of regeneration"
He runs home and quickly makes more and more medicine using the new plant he found and names it "Herb of Regeneration"
"Yes!! Yes!!!! Yes!!!" He screamed over and over again as he finishes over fifty liquid medicine using the herb of regeneration. He relaxes his body. He takes the medicine and takes it to his deceased grandmother, Kiaush. "Grandma... this will bring you back to life... I promise" He said with his teary eyes. He slowly opened her mouth as he slowly pour the medicine in her mouth.
As it enters into her body, it does nothing. "Please" Ingua says. It's now been a few minutes as he sighs "No... it didn't work-"
"Aaaah!!!" Kiaush scares Ingua as he jumps "Aah! Grandma!!? Is that you!!?" He shouted. Kiaush looked around as she begins to growl and twitch rapidly. "Grandma!!! I missed you so much!!" He quickly goes in for a hug as his teary eyes stream down his face and onto his grandma.
"Grandma!! I love you!! I didn't get to say that before you passed!!! Grandma!!" He shouted until staying quiet and listening to his grandma's breathing. She screeches and growls like a monster. He slowly stood up and looked into his grandma's eyes; it was pure black.
She begins screaming and roaring toward Ingua as he falls to the ground. He quickly gets up and yells outside for help "Help!!! Guys!!! My grandma-!!" He then trips and falls to the ground. It's night, but bright at the same time, how?
He slowly got up and looked around the village in shockness and horror. He turned to every corner and finds it in chaos. The entire village was on fire and all the druzels are running in fear, screaming the words of "Help!!!"
He looks at druzel chasing druzel chasing druzels. "What's... happening.." He asked himself. He turns to his right "Aaah!! Help!!! Dr. Kauju!!!" A girl screamed out as a druzel bites into her neck. Her blood splattering all over the ground as her hands point toward Ingua for help. He looks at the druzel's face and finds it black. As black as his grandmother's eyes.
He finally realizes what he's caused. He infected Eshin with the herb of regeneration by making her consume it. She began infecting everyone else with a brutal bite. He turns around to find her grandmother standing there, twitching her entire body as black blood rushes through her nose, eyes, ears, and mouth. He continues to cry as he stands there, facing his grandmother "What have I done"
His grandmother began sprinting toward him as she grabs his shoulders and bites onto his neck viciously, unleashing a huge amount of blood that brutally cascades onto the ground. He falls to the ground as she continues to eat him. More zombies joined in and eats him alive.
The virus soon began spreading through Uapeisios fast, which forced other villages to build walls to protect themselves from the dangerous monsters they then named, Kepklinfau, also known as zombies.
"It was very brutal" Eugene said. Angie suddenly feels sympathy for the zombies "They were just innocent people" She said. "Yeah" Mikey says. Eugene gets up from the bed and heads into the kitchen where he finds beef jerky laying on the counter. Mikey joins Eugene "How do you know about the pyuklosh virus?"
"Well, the villagers that took me in. They knew a lot of things" He answered while taking a bite of the jerky.
"Eugene, have you ever studied of quantum physics?" Mikey asked. Eugene squints his eyes and looked at him with a curious face "What type of question was that? Who starts off a conversation like that??"
"I don't know! I just want to know!" Mikey shouted "Think about it, isn't it so cool!"
Eugene laughs "Yeah, like trying to decide between original or teriyaki jerky"
Mikey looked at Eugene with a neutral face while Eugene's laughter slowly went away. "I'm heading to bed" Mikey says, until Eugene stops him "Hey shouldn't someone be on the lookout... you know, incase the ship crashes into something like the freaking titanic!!"
"What the hell is titanic?" Mikey asked. "Nevermind, forget it" Eugene says.
"Uhh... anyways, yeah you go first" Mikey leaves the kitchen and into his bed. "What" Eugene said as he smacks his forehead and sighs "Kids"
RISE OF IZUZUNU
VOLUME 10, CHAPTER 124, KEPKLINFAUS
BATTLEFIELD
"Go! Go! Go!!" The Kitsunen soldiers yelled out as they blast white plasma beams toward the Zoidonians. At the same time, they fire rifles at the enemies; fighting using plasma and rifles. The Kitsunens get shot and beamed by the Zoidonian's machine guns and powerful guns that shoot out plasma beams. Some soldiers even had plasma armors, like emerald plasma, pink plasmas, the caliginous stages. The Kitsunens and Feiburgians were getting wrecked pretty bad.
"Help!! Help!!" A soldier screamed out loud as he's in huge pain due to his missing leg. The leg spewed out blood quickly as another soldier quickly bandages him up "This is gonna hurt, but take it! Here!!" He shoves a cloth into his mouth "Bite down the pain!" The soldier begin bandaging his legs, touching his opened flesh and sticking out bones and bruised up skin around the crater of the missing leg.
"Guys!! How you guys doing!?" Edison shouted. "Bad!! Cover us, please!" The soldier shouted. Edison nods his head as he flies into the sky with his sword "Haaaa!!" He slams it into the ground as it generates plasma shockwaves that hits every Zoidonian.
"What the hell, what the hell!!! We need a damn plan!" 07 shouted at Jeremy. "Don't worry! Just keep fighting!!" Jeremy shouted as he reloads his rifle and fires it toward the enemy's side. "Where is everyone anyways!!?" 07 shouted until a bullet from the Zoidonians manage to pierce through 07's left hand "Aaah!"
Blood drips to his fingers as Jeremy pulls him down for cover behind a rock "Klaus!! Here!" He begins bandaging him up "I got you!"
"07, you alright!?" Edison lands next to them "Yeah! I'm good! Just shot in the hand" 07 answers. "Shit, all this for Izuzunu" Edison says. "Yeah, we have to to save the civilians from the cruel Dominant League" 07 got up "Okay, I'm ready for battle"
At the borders of Izuzunu, more Zoidonian troops, along with Sejrik and Trini are marching down to the battlefield. The Zoidonians chant as Trini smiles with Sejrik "I'll meet you guys there" Trini stomps on the ground, taking her to the sky as she blasts plasma out of her metal left arm. The metal is made up of iron and gold. It is also spellbinded with the pink plasma.
Sejrik joins her in the sky with a fiery aura as he spins and flips. Trini and Sejrik lands together on the Kitsunen and Feiburgian soldiers, killing them instantly. "Aaaah!!!" A soldier charges toward Trini. He tries to stab her with a spear, but she avoids it and forcefully grabs his head with her metal hands, crushing his face and skull as blood oozes out.
Sejrik strikes the dead soldier's stomach with his leg, sending him straight toward the mountain, where Fui and Gishi stood. "Gishi!!" Fui yelled out, striking Gishi on his chest as electricity emerges.
Gishi laughed while he grabs Fui on his hands, throwing him to the ground. Fui lands and flies up to headbutt Gishi's jaw as he falls toward the ground.
At the forest, Mark quickly flew back toward Leila and stabs into her stomach "Aaah!!" She screamed. Mark smiles "You really thought you're all that" He laughs "Surrender and I will spare your life!!"
"N-" She stuttered "N- never!" She grabs onto Mark's neck, but Mark grabs back, choking her as he lifts her up toward the sky. She begins cooking and kicking. She tries to blast plasma beams, but Mark spins and slams her to the ground, still choking her, but laying his knees on her hands. She continues to choke while trying her best to fight back. Her eyes begin to water as her face turns red, shaking her body and kicking her legs. She gasps for air multiple times as Mark watches her.
She then begins to speak "I..." she talks with a painful breathless voice "I surrend... surrender!" She screamed as Mark let go of her neck. She coughs toward the ground while breathing heavily. Mark watches, but taps on her with his foot "Leila, end the war now"
She turns around and screams "I can't! I'm not the one in charge of the Dominant League! It's Hyeonin!!" She continued to breathe heavily while facing the floor. "Then help me kill him" Mark said. He brings his hands out toward her; urging her to grab it to get up.
"Kill Hyeonin?" She asked. "Yeah, let's go, get up" Mark shakes his hand around. She finally grabs it and got up as she punches Mark in the face "That's for choking me"
Lilly and Hyeonin continues to fight with Hyeonin having the two ropes now. He swings both of them toward Lilly, but she ducks and charges at Hyeonin with the sword. Hyeonin disappears and kicks her from behind. Lilly fell to the ground, but gets back up, swinging her sword at Hyeonin. He evades, but Lilly had a trick up her sleeves.
She turns to expect Hyeonin, which she finds him. She quickly blasts Hyeonin with the electrified beams, sending him toward a tree. Mark makes it "Lilly!!" He shouted with Leila running out with Mark. They both stood together along with Leila. "What's she doing here?" Lilly asked.
"She's gonna help us" He answers. Hyeonin on the floor, slowly got up and sees Leila on the wrong side "Leila?? What are you doing!??" She didn't say a word, but stared down at Hyeonin as the sun begins to rise.
