The Dominant League are almost back to Izuzunu. What surrounds them are the plains and the grassland. They could see Izuzunu's lights and the borders as they come closer. It's still midnight as everyone is exhausted from today.
"Do you think we shouldn't have done this?" Leila asked. "Why?" Hyeonin asked while on the horse. "I mean, we've only pissed off the LCI more by doing so. Chloe and some others are still alive" Leila explained.
"What makes you think Chloe and the others are as strong as us?" Hyeonin makes a point. Leila kept her mouth shut after that. But, suddenly they hear a loud machine in the distance of the sky. "What is that?" Leila asked.
Xiulan looked up at the distance to find the planes "Planes..." she whispers to herself. As the planes got closer, everyone watches. Multiple planes starts showing up out of nowhere as the first plane launches a missile toward the Dominant League. Everyone gasps as Hyeonin screams "Jump!!!!" He jumps off the horse as the others jump off the carriage. The carriage explodes into debris as it flies in the sky. More missiles were running down as it turns the entire grassland into a fiery wasteland filled with dirt and dust. The grasses are completely annihilated, but a few were yellow and dead and burning from the explosion.
The explosion stops as the dust clears to reveal the new battlegrounds for the battle for Izuzunu.
RISE OF IZUZUNU
VOLUME 10, CHAPTER 121, THE SURPRISE
HOURS AGO
"No, no!!" Chloe screamed out, leaning closer to the window. "No... Holyland.. " Lilly said.
They got closer and closer to see the destruction of the church before their eyes. They flew above it and find many dead bodies on the ground "No" Edison said.
As they land on the grounds, Chloe rounded up the Feiburgians that followed them to Holyland and commanded them to find survivors and also collect the bodies and take them to the cemetery.
Lilly and Edison watched in horror as they see the fire burning "You guys okay?" Mark asked. "Yeah, it's just that we worked so hard to build this" Lilly answered.
"Yeah, we should've just stuck with tents and campfires" Mark said. Edison spots someone familiar at the distance next to the pond in Northern Holyland "Ren" he said and gasps as he runs to check it out.
Lilly and Mark followed behind. "Ren!" Edison shouted worriedly. He grabbed Ren on the shoulders "Ren!" And then stops.
Beside Ren was Evelyn "Evelyn?"
Lilly and Mark arrives "What's she doing here?"
"I don't know... But, let's get them to the tree! They're still breathing!" Edison shouted.
INTERROGATION ROOM
Chloe enters the Interrogation room by herself and shuts the door closed. She locks the metal door and stood there, crying. Eugene was confused "What are you doing here?"
Chloe turns around with her tear-filled eyes "You" she said in a very angry tone "You!!" Chloe sprints toward Eugene and punches Eugene in the face "Aah!" Eugene yelled in pain. She grabs him by the shirt and pulls it against her "Why were you guys here!? Why!!?"
Chloe screamed and kept screaming the same question "How could you guys so such a thing!!"
Eugene looked scared, but he couldn't answer. Chloe let Eugene go and forms a fist with her right hands. She charges her pink plasma energy toward her fist as she arches her arms back, ready to deliver a forceful blow to Eugene's face.
"Okay! Okay! Okay!!! We were here because we were going to kill all of you! All of the LCI members!!" Eugene shouted as he begins to cry. Chloe calmed herself down "Is that it?" She asked.
"Yes, we just wanted to find your base and kill all of you guys, so we won't have to deal with you guys when we fix Izuzunu" Eugene answered.
"Do you really think you're on the good side?" Chloe asked Eugene with a disappointed face "Do you really think what you're doing is good?"
Eugene thought about it for a moment. The room, silence to the point where you can only hear their breaths. "I'm not doing this because I want to, Chloe" He said "I'm... being forced by the Dominant League because I'm a good fighter"
"The Dominant League... has been growing their army by forcing Izuzunians like you to fight?" Chloe asked. "Yes" he said, looking down, depressed.
A bang was suddenly heard from the door. Chloe turned around and opens the door to find 07 "Chloe"
"07? Did you get the Kitsunens and Sleronans?" Chloe asked. "Not the Sleronans. Follow me" 07 said.
THE TREE, HOSPITAL
Phoenix laid in the bed of the hospital under the tree. Other Izuzunians were there as well, getting treated for their injuries. Phoenix looked at his broken legs and attempts to move them. It didn't budge and stood in place. Nugget laughed as he enters the room "You can't move it when you have a cast on"
"I knew that, of course" Phoenix laughed back. "How is your wounds?" Nugget asked. "Yeah, it's all good. Just a couple of scratches is all" Phoenix answered.
Nugget looked around the room and at the civilians getting treated. "Nugget" Phoenix called out. Nugget looked back at Phoenix. Phoenix put his arms out toward Nugget. Nugget grabs his hands as they shook "Thank you so much for saving my life"
Nugget smiled "You're very welcome, President Phoenix"
Phoenix smiled "For doing so, I believe you deserve something special. A special gift"
"A gift? Oh, no, I'm okay. Really!" Nugget assures Phoenix he doesn't need to be paid back.
"No, Nugget, you deserve it. Plus I can't even fight like this, so I believe you can take on the armor" Phoenix said. Nugget, with a confused face questioned "Armor? What are you talking about?"
"My armor is in the old hospital under the bed. It shouldn't be destroyed. You can take it" Phoenix smiled "And borrow it. Use it for the battle for Izuzunu and we would guarantee win the war. Do not say you don't deserve such a thing, because you do. You saved my life... and now I'm going to give you something special from me"
Nugget begins to cry. "Don't cry" Phoenix said "You deserve it"
"Nugget" Edison called out his name "Come outside. The Kitsunens are here"
OUTSIDE THE TREE
Everyone looked depressed and horrified by the scenery. Everywhere around Holyland was on fire. "What... do we do?..." Lilly asked.
It was silence, all that was heard were the fires, crackling as the wood burns. Sounds of the wind blowing through the trees and the grass. The small waterfall in the pond splashes.
Chloe walked up from the darkness and looked at everyone with a sterned and angry face "We'll bring the war to them... today!"
"Today?? Woah, don't you think we all need a chance to rest 'cause we just got our ass kicked by the Dominant League" George shouted.
"No, we can't rest. Because, the Dominant League may also be tired and need to rest. So, if we bring the battle to them quickly, we might easily win" Chloe said.
"Yeah, but the key word there is "might", who knows if we'll win" Nugget said. "We never know if we never try. We're gonna fight them anyways, so why not just start it today; tonight" Chloe responds.
"What is your plan, Chloe? Just surprise attack them out of nowhere?" 07 asked. Mark joins the conversation "Yes, that's exactly what we'll do. We surprise attack them out of nowhere. They won't expect a thing"
"Okay then, I'm all for it, hahah!" King Fui laughed. "Who the hell are you?" Edison asked. "Don't you see this crown, man? Don't you see these fancy rich clothing man? I'm the king, Lawrence Fui of Kitsune!" King Fui bragged and laughed.
"Oh, King Fui, my apologies" Edison bowed. "So much respect here, hahah" King Fui laughed "It's okay. Alright, let's get started everyone. Prepare for the battle for Izuzunu, because, it starts tonight! Hahah!!"
"Is he just a kid? Edison whispered to 07 "Nah, he's twenty-one, don't worry about it"
HOSPITAL
Nugget walked by himself to the hospital as he began digging through the rubbles. He looked everywhere for the armor, but it was nowhere to be found.
Suddenly he finds something glowing on the other side of the destruction "Hm?" He asked himself. He walked closer to it and begins digging through the rubble once again to find out what the glowy light was. He finds it. He finds the armor; Phoenix's Azure Fire Armor.
He sighed as he falls down and sat on a rock "Phoenix" he looked up at the sky "Thank you for the gift"
INTERROGATION ROOM
"You guys are going to kill them all today? Let me join you guys, please!" Eugene shouts. "I'm sorry. But, we cannot risk it and bring you along with us" Edison said "You could betray us at any moment"
"But I wouldn't! Please! All I want is to kill Hyeonin!" Eugene shouted "Please!"
Chloe and the others watched. "I think we're all ready" Nugget said, until he realizes "Wait, where's Moises?"
"Moises was attacked by Wuhan. Ever since then, he's been in a coma. Wuhan is nowhere to be found though" 07 explained. "I see" Nugget looked down.
"Guys! Let's go now!" Fui shouted in the room "Time for battle!"
Everyone followed King Fui through the hallways of the tree and outside. The plane's back door opens as the LCI, Kitsunens, and Feiburgians enter. Over twenty planes were present. The LCI now has a whole army for the battle. Chloe, feeling as prepared as ever looked out the windows, looking at the beautiful moon in the sky and the beautiful scenery of the forest below them.
Chloe looked at everyone and nods her head with a brave manner. Everyone else nods their heads, including Lilly, the pilot.
PRESENT TIME

They are outside, just a kilometer from Izuzunu. Hyeonin and the other Dominant League members slowly lift their heads up, facing the planes in the sky.
Lilly, piloting the plane with a fearless face "This is for Jun. My love" she said as she sends more missiles toward the Dominant League.
Chloe understood Lilly's feelings "This is for Jun. My friend" she stood up and faces the back door of the plane. "This is for Jun. My best buddy" Edison also stood up to look at the back door.
The others stood up as well, saying their own lines until everyone faces the back door, ready for battle. Lilly turns around to see them all prepared, standing there like brave soldiers. "Is everyone ready!" Chloe shouted. "Yes!" Everyone shouted back.
The planes doors starts opening as the Dominant League watches in awe. Some watches in anger and fear.
Chloe stood straight up with the rest of the LCI, gazing fearlessly at the moonlight, as the back door of the plane slowly swung open.
