"Alright, first building" Mark said as he barges in through the door and points their sword at the kalkruts inside.
"Hey! Who are you!?" a man shouted as Mark slashes them all.
They died instantly except for one woman who was under the counter, breathing heavily in fear. She pushes a red button under the counter as the alarms in the Doom Brigade base started going off.
The Solaris Villagers covered their ears along with Mark as at Phoenix's side, they cover their ears too "What the fuck!!?"
In the alarm, a woman spoke into "Izuzunians has gotten in!! I repeat! The Izuzunians have gotten in!!!"
Cole looked around and smiled "So Jun came here himself..." he began laughing hysterically as the Doomgader's armies lined up in a line of rows.
Cole looked at everyone "Find the Izuzunians and bring Jun to me!!"
RISE OF IZUZUNU
VOLUME 9, CHAPTER 107, LONG AWAITED
NORTH OF THE DOOM BRIGADE'S BASE
"What the fuck!!?" Phoenix shouted out loud as he covered his ears.
He uncovers them and listens to the alarm "Izuzunians has gotten in!! I repeat! The Izuzunians have gotten in!!!"
Moments later, Doomgaders have appeared behind a building a far from them "Hey!!" the Doomgaders shouted "Get back here!!"
"What the fuck!!? The clothes didn't blend us in!!" Phoenix shouted.
"Well duh! We're not blue!!" Chloe shouted back.
"Quick! Everyone!! Scramble!!" Phoenix commanded as everyone split up and runs their own direction "Shit! Shit! Shit!!" 07 shouted while running.
George and Lilly were running with Chloe "Phoenix said split up, George!!"
"I know that, but there was only two way out of that situation, follow 07 and Phoenix or you!!" George replied and yelled.
Chloe runs into a building as the rest follows "I'll split from here!" George says as he sees a turning in the hallway.
"Wait!" Chloe says "Take the bombs on the floor!! We'll explode the Doomgader's base after we're done!!" Chloe takes a few bombs on the floor and puts it in her bag.
Lilly and George does the same as George splits apart from Chloe and Lilly "Lilly! You can stay with me, okay!?" Chloe says as Lilly yells "Yes!"
George runs through the hallways and runs into a couple of doomgaders "Shit!" George shouted as he slides between a doomgader's legs and jumped up in the air.
In mid-air he turned around and threw three bombs at the doomgaders as it explodes, killing them all "Aaah!!"
George ran as fast as he can until he's outside. He spots a basement door and proceeds to jump inside "Please be in here Edison!"
Meanwhile, Chloe and Lilly runs into the main room of the building and spots a throne in sight "A throne?" Lilly says as doomgaders appear on the left side of the entrance.
Then Cole comes out and looked at the Izuzunians "Hello, Izuzunians!! Welcome to the Doom Brigade's territory!!"
Chloe and Lilly walked up to the middle as Cole's crew slowly walked toward Chloe and Lilly "Tell me where Jun is and I'll let you live" he said as he stopped in front of them.
"Cole... this isn't what your father would've wanted" Chloe says.
"What!?" Cole looked at her creepily "My father was a raider! The best invader on Kepkury! And you think we wouldn't have wanted me to avenge him!?"
"He allowed Jun to kill him! Your father confessed to Jun that what he was doing was so wrong and that your sister wouldn't have wanted any of that!" Chloe shouted, trying to convince him.
"You don't talk about my sister like that!" Cole shouted and swings his sword as Chloe yells "But it's true! What the heck, man!" she blocked his sword attacks and kicked his ribs as he jots "Oof!" he said as Chloe backs up with Lilly.
"Lilly, I'll take on Cole myself, you go on and find Edison! I'll hold them back!" Chloe commanded as Lilly agreed "Hm!" meaning yes.
Lilly runs through an exit as Chloe was left alone with the doomgaders "You fucked up you dumb bitch" Cole smiled.
"Shut up" Chloe points her sword at the doomgaders "You don't know what I have" she smiled.
"Huh?" Cole asked.
Chloe bursts into pink plas as she floats in the sky "Defeat me if you can" she said as she floats down and lands on the floor.
"Sh- she has the fourth plas!" the man pointed out.
Cole smiled "You think that'll defeat us" he points at her "Attack!!"
All the doomgaders began charging toward her as she blasts beams of plasma toward them all.
THE BASEMENT
"Come on, prisoner! You're being placed in a new cell!" a guard opens Edison's chains as he gets up from sitting down and stretches "Oof!!!" he makes a loud relief as he can finally stretch his body "God damn I've been sitting for days!!"
"Hurry up" the guard says.
"Okay" Edison knees between the guard's legs "Ooh!! Oww!!" the guard screamed in pain as Edison grabs his sword and stabs the guard in the eyes.
The guard collapses on the floor, dead "Phew" Edison says as he grabs the guard's keys and runs out the cell.
A few guards walked into view and spots Edison "Hey!" Edison stood there at the dead end and laughed nervously "Eheheh"
THE THRONE ROOM
All the doomgaders were knocked out cold. Some of them even dead or too injured to get back up.
Cole squints his eyes and looked at Chloe "It seems you were right.. My guards were weak" Cole stomps on a doomgader's head, crushing his skull and killing him "Damn!"
Chloe looked at him with a serious face, her eyes glowing light pink "You had enough? Cause' I can kill you right now on the spot"
"Yeah" he smiled "I had a enough" and looked at Chloe while shouting "Kalruts!!!" out loud as a bunch of small goblin like creatures runs into a room, it looked about over a hundred of them.
The kalruts grab onto Chloe as she tries to take them off "Ah! Get off!"
Millions of them surrounds her as she's being trampled and stuck "Uuughh!!"
"Hahahaha!!" Cole laughed as he says "Had enough yet?? Bye!!" he tried to run out the room, but Chloe explodes herself out the kalrut crowd and quickly flies toward Cole, slamming into him "Ah!" Cole screamed out.
Cole falls down into a basement as Chloe picked him up and throws him inside a cell "Ah!" he hits the wall as he falls to the ground.
Chloe locks the cell doors "Stay in here, you're super annoying" she said as she runs out the basement and closes the doors shut.
She ran out as Edison appears running through the hallways from the guards "Edison!!?" Chloe shouted as Edison smiled "Chloe!!? Holy shit!!"
Edison trips and falls as the guards capture him. Chloe was about to blast her plasma toward the guard's but Cole appears behind her and takes off her helmet, making her lose confused "Huh?"
He hits her head with a metal pole as she knocks out due to her helmet being removed.
THE BASEMENT CELL
Chloe slowly wakes up as she sees Edison, laying on the floor in the same cell "Ugh.." she groaned.
"Edison! Edison!!" she screamed out "Huh!!? What!!? We're being attacked!!? Oh.." Edison shouted back as he noticed Chloe's awake "Oh hey Chloe, you're awake"
"Yeah" she said.
Edison smiled happily "Oh my god, it's so good to see you, Chloe" Edison hugs Chloe "You don't realize how much I missed you guys"
Chloe smiled "We missed you too, Edison"
Edison stops and sat down next to Chloe "I really thought I was gonna die here before I heard the alarms"
"It's a good thing you have the right friends. We'd do anything in our power to save you" she smiled.
"Thank you, Chloe" Edison says.
Chloe just smiled back and nods her head.
"Anyways" Edison continued "How is Jun and Izuzunu? I bet it's going good so far" he smiled and looked at Chloe, but Chloe looked depressed.
It's been a few seconds as Edison asked again, but with concern "Chloe? Are you okay?"
She looked at him "Jun's dead"
Edison sat there, stunned. He looked down at the floor and says "Oh..." as his tears fall to the ground.
It was quiet, all you could hear is Edison sniffing his snot. He looked up at the ceiling as Chloe notices his tear-filled eyes "He was a good president" he smiled and looked at Chloe.
"Yeah" Chloe said back.
"It'll be okay" he puts his hands on Chloe's shoulders "Let's not think about that right now. We're in the middle of something"
"Yeah... You're right" Chloe said as she wipes her tears; Edison does the same and jumps back up.
"Jun" he looked at the ceiling "Jun.... you've done a lot for us, so protecting our country is the least we could do. Rest well while we take care of the country for you"
