The man walks out of the smoke and the man was... Merp.
"What" Jun was stunned and surprised as to how Merp was still alive.
"Jun" Merp smiled.
Half of Merp's face was burnt on his left side and his left eye was missing with an eye patch. His hair all gone and torn up.
"Who- who is he!!?" Moises shouted and asked Jun.
"He's..." Jun spoke "a survivor of... the Blood War.."
"Yes! The Survivor of the Blood War!! That is who I am!!" Merp shouted out loud as Toast, Ad, Serwer, and a couple of Toast's army comes out from the smoke.
"How.." Jun said in his head.
RISE OF IZUZUNU
VOLUME 8, CHAPTER 97, REVOLUTION
THREE DAYS EARLIER, HWALSHINDO IZUZUNU
"I have to" Hyeonin said as he walks through the paths of Hwalshindo Izuzunu "I have to save everyone in this empire from the mad man... Jun"
He stops in front of Lilly's house, it's day time, the middle of noon and the sun is covered by the thick clouds. It looks like it's about to be a rainy day.
It's three days earlier before the bombing of GDRNI and Hyeonin is starting a revolution. First he is going to Lilly to talk to her about it.
Hyeonin knocks on the door. A few moments later, Lilly opens the door and recognizes Hyeonin "Oh- Hyeonin, what are you doing here?" she asked.
"Can I step inside? We need to talk" He said in a serious tone.
She allowed him inside as they both sat on the couch across from each other "Do you want some tea?" she asked as she pours tea inside the teacup.
"Sure" Hyeonin answered as she slides to cup to Hyeonin on the coffee table.
She takes a sip and finally broke the silence "So... what is it that you want to talk about?"
Hyeonin stops drinking and places it down on the table as he begins talking "Well... everything's changing.... Everything is changing very fast... You know what else is changing?"
"What?" Lilly asked.
"Jun" he said "Jun is changing... Do you see the way he acts now? Do you see the way he runs things now? Everything he's doing... is purely evil" Hyeonin quickly stood up and begins walking around "I- I-.. I want to stop him" he stopped and looked at her "I want to stop Jun's madness"
"Wait, wait" She laughs "Please stop for a moment" she stood up too "You want to rebel against the emperor?? Do you know how impossible that is-"
"It isn't!" Hyeonin spoke back and explains "If we could get a large enough group to help fight against Jun then we can win! I already got some people who would join me in this rebellion"
"You want me to join you???" Lilly questioned "I'm not betraying the man who saved my life, Hyeonin, you think I'm-"
"Lilly" Hyeonin grabs her shoulders gently "The man who saved your life is long gone... Take a look at who you think saved your life... Jun? No... that's not Jun anymore.. he's different... we need to kick him off the throne and bring the presidency system back!"
Lilly was terrified "But... what if we failed?" she asked.
Hyeonin lets go of her and walks to the window and looks outside Izuzunu "We won't"
"How do you know that!!?" She shouted.
Hyeonin looks back at Lilly "My group is stronger than ever... but all we're missing is you.. So come join me.. and we will fight by each other's side.. we will start the first Izuzunu Revolution and change Izuzunu! Together!!!"
Hyeonin takes his hands out towards Lilly "Join me... and we will be powerful"
CAVES
"Where is Hyeonin" Trini said to Xiulan "he's taking too long"
"I don't know, he said it'll be quick" Xiulan answered.
"I hope we win" Angie spoke. She joined Hyeonin's side and agrees to start the Izuzunu Revolution along with Xiulan, Trini, Harmen, Ren, and Evelyn.
"I never liked war" Ren said "And I never liked the way Jun faces threats now... when I first met him.. he was a kind young man.. and now.. he's taken too many power and threatens to kill anyone in his way"
"Yeah duh, that's why we're all here" Harmen says.
"Shut up, I was just trying to start a conversation in this quiet ass cave" Ren says as Harmen gets up from the floor and walks towards Ren "What the fuck you say?"
"Hm? I was just trying to start a conver-" Ren tried to speak, but Harmen took over "Tell me to shut up again, bitch"
"What-?" Ren tried to speak "You fucking bitch!" Harmen shouted louder as the group runs toward them "Hey stop!!"
"We're all in the same side you idiots, stop shouting!" Evelyn yelled.
"Yeah well get your little fucking boyfriend over here and shut him the fuck up!" Harmen spits on Ren's clothes as Ren socks Harmen on the nose.
"Oof!" Harmen shouted as Evelyn grabs onto Ren "Hey stop!!"
Harmen gets up from the floor and tackles Ren down to the ground and begins beating him in the head "You fucking bitch! Hit me again you cunt! I'll fucking kill you!"
"Harmen!! Stop!!" Trini and Angie shouted.
Hyeonin and Lilly finally makes it to the cave and runs toward the two of them "Hey!" Hyeonin shouts as he kicks Harmen off of Ren "What the fuck is wrong with you guys, huh!?"
"We're all in the same team!!" Lilly yelled at Harmen and Ren.
She then realized some LCI members are here "Wait... Ren?... Evelyn?? Angie???"
"Yeah... we're all here too" Angie said.
"Eight people is enough right?" Hyeonin asks Xiulan.
"Yes.. eight people here and eight people in the LCI" Xiulan answered.
"Why not get all the LCI? I'm sure they'll join us" Lilly added.
"No, I have a plan" Xiulan replied "We all know that all the LCI are willing to join our side to stop Jun, so why don't we show Jun how bad of a person he is by showing his own people leaving him?"
"Hahah! I get what you're saying! Let's do it!" Evelyn exclaimed while helping Ren up from the ground.
"Well, first things first we're going to have to get rid of those weak armors" Xiulan points at the group with iron armor.
LATER AT HYEONIN'S UNDERGROUND BASE
Hyeonin opens the metal door opened as everyone steps foot inside Hyeonin's underground secret base.
"Woah" Lilly said as she walks around "You built this all by yourself?"
It was an average sized room, about the size of a big living room.
"I mean, it's not that big of a room so it's nor that impressive" Hyeonin laughs.
Xiulan points at the armors "Everyone, take a set"
The armors were white painted and all had a symbol on it; a black bird.
"What is... this?" Angie pointed at the bird symbol.
Hyeonin walks up to her and looks at the symbol "That.. is our group symbol" Hyeonin answered and walks up to the edge of a wall and stood in front of all of them.
"Today" He spoke "Today we will start a new group!"
He got everyone's attention as they all paid attention to him "Today we all will become teammates in this world. We will commence a new era for Izuzunu with the avail of each other's skills! We will surmount Izuzunu and rule this empire to make it great again!!"
"Yeah!" They all yelled out.
Hyeonin continued "I know you all care about Jun.. But that isn't Jun anymore, that's a monster"
Suddenly Lilly remembers "Monster.." she said in her head.
YEAR 4, AFTER THE WOOD WAR
"You fucking monster!!" A man shouted as he shoves Jun to the grounds.
Lilly and Jun were at a man's house trying to help him rebuild his house.
"Why would I ever trust a monster like you!! Jun!! You ruined everything in this kingdom, you understand that!!?" He yelled.
"I tried everything I could do protect-!" Jun tried to speak but the man pushes Jun as he backs away.
"Get the fuck off my lawn!!" He shouted.
It took Jun a while to react. He then proceeds to turn around and walk away from the man.
Lilly was so confused and saddened along with Jun.
She turns around and runs to Jun "Jun!" she shouted at the same time "Jun.. I'm sorry"
"Why?" Jun asked as tears began falling.
"No one in this country respects you... They've all misunderstood you so bad" Lilly said as Jun stops.
Jun faces her "It's my fault" he spoke "It's my fault that this all happened.. Take a look around you, Lilly.. If I wasn't so fucking scared to kill Moises.. This would've never happened, you know?"
"Well it's okay, Jun. It's not your fault you couldn't kill your best friend, okay?" she tried to cheer him up.
"It is my fault!!" Jun shouted back angrily "It's my fault that this all happened!! Everyone would agree!! You guys are all saying that it isn't my fault because you know I was the first president!! I'm like some kind of-!!"
Lilly shuts him up and hugs him tightly "Jun!!.. It isn't your fault.."
Jun cries as he hugs her back "Do.... do you really think so?"
"Yes" Lilly says as she cries too "Don't let any of the citizens get to you, okay? You did your best, Jun..."
"I did" He says.
A few moments later "I love you" Lilly confessed.
"Huh-" Jun uttered.
