RISE OF IZUZUNU
VOLUME 5, CHAPTER 54, THE ESCAPE
CENTRAL IZUZUNU ELECTION STAGE, THE NEXT DAY
"Have you heard?? Jun and his team murdered an innocent man!" A woman screamed out at the stage grounds. "Man, I knew he was a monster and a murderer!" A boy shouted.
Pierce and Lexie walk through the crowds to see Xuanyu and a few of the LCI Members on the stage. "Guys..." Xuanyu spoke into the mic as everyone quieted down and paid attention. "Jun..." Xuanyu looked down at the audience "I am here to announce... that Jun has beaten me up and nearly killed me," he said with bruises and cuts on his face.
The entire crowd gasps as they all start screaming "No way!" "That monster!"
The crowd quieted down again while Xuanyu spoke "He murdered an innocent man... a man that didn't do anything to him!! With the help of half the LCI, he told them that a man... a man who was truly on Izuzunu's side... he told them that this man was a traitor... So the LCI went and killed the man on the spot!!"
The crowd gasps again "But! That's not all! I tried to stop them! I told them to back out of the fight! But they disobeyed me! They disobeyed the president!! They disobeyed me and killed Leo!!!"
The crowd continued to gasp and was horrified by the fact that the LCI would do such a thing. Pierce and Lexie watch from a distance. Lexie was scared, but Pierce was angry.
"So now, I put them in prison to save Izuzunu!! Jun and the rest won't hurt and kill anyone anymore!!" Xuanyu shouted "I told him the news about imprisoning them, but he didn't like it!! So he smacked me! He beat me! He punched, kicked, hit, and kept hitting me!!! Over and over again!! He hit the president!!"
"Now... they won't be able to kill anyone anymore... That is all" Xuanyu puts the mic back and walks down the stage to go back home.
Phoenix picks back up the microphone "That's not it" he says "A new war. There is a new war against the Chaos Team. We will try our best to protect all of you guys!! I promise!!!" he puts the microphone back as well.
Pierce looked at the grounds "Jun... Jun's in trouble" he then looked at Lexie "Lexie, let's go" He held her hand and led her out of the crowds. "If I was Jun right now, where would I be?" He asks himself.
"That monster!" "He deserves an execution!" "Kill all of the LCI who betrayed us!" the crowd screams out.
"Everyone here... everyone here deserves to die. That includes... Xuanyu!!" Pierce shouted in his head "Everyone, they don't know the real truth about Jun... They don't!! They will pay!! They will pay!!!"
"Brother! Are you okay!??" Pierce notices that he's acting strange, clenching his teeth and twitching his head "Yes, I'm sorry, yeah, I'm okay" he says until suddenly he realizes the LCI is in prison, so he should be there "The prison!" Pierce gasped and shouted. Luckily nobody heard.
IZUZUNU ENTRANCE
"So they really did kill Leo here," Jun said to himself while holding his sword in his hands. "Yes... they did" Moon comes out of nowhere and walks in front of Jun.
Moon pulls out his sword and the auras begin to form around Moon. A bright blue aura, the same as Will's. The power of the azure plasma. "I'm not here to fight," Jun says "I'm here to apologize for their actions-"
Moon strikes Jun in the chest with a kick and he falls to the ground. Moon then points his sword at Jun "Shut up!!! You liar!!! You killed my brother!!! You are a monster!!! You are a bastard!! We had a fucking deal and you did this shit!! Fuck you!! Fuck you and your little fucking kingdom!! Fuck you and everyone you love!!!"
Jun looked faces the ground, thinking about the moment Merp told him Leo and Moon were traitors. Jun faces more guilt as he forms a fist while picking up dirt.
Moon calms down as his auras disappear. Jun watches as Moon walks out of the borders.
Moon turns his head around "I'm not gonna kill you, yet. I'm not a bastard like you who's too impatient to wait for the battle to start. And just so you know, we really were on your side, but now, I'm joining back with the Chaos Team... and we're gonna avenge Leo. Just you watch." He continued walking away.
For a moment, Jun lay there on his stomach, thinking about his bad decisions. When Moon disappears from Jun's sight, he screams "Why do I always make mistakes!!!" he punches the ground as shockwaves of flames burst out from the impact.
"My friends... They don't deserve this" Jun said in his head as he sat down on the ground "They don't" he said again as he faced his head toward the prison.
VALVINA PRISON
"Here's your lunch, monsters" The guards threw a few trays inside their cells as they all began eating. Mikey takes his first bite of the bread "It's alright" he says.
"Yuck! I'm not a huge fan of bread" Lilly says. Clay looked at the ground the whole time "Fuck!!" he shouted out loud. "Dude, shut up, you've been shouting the word, fuck, ever since we got here," Nugget said with an attitude. Clay looked back at him with a stern and angry face.
Cyfty's cell is across from Clay's as he spoke out "That fucking bastard, Xuanyu. He's abusing his presidential powers"
"I agree," Nugget says. 07 lay in his bed with his eyes closed and arms crossed. He opens his eyes wide and shouts "Aah! I can't with this uncomfy ass bed!! How did Jun go through this!!?"
Nugget lets out a laugh "Hahaha!! You're killing me!"
"What's so funny? We're in prison" 07 says. "Well, if we're going to spend a whole year in here, might as well find everything funny for entertainment" Nugget added.
"Why... why is he like this? Did we really not kill the enemies?" Evelyn asked herself and threw the bread at the wall.
"I guess" The next-door cell next to Evelyn's echoes as Chloe speaks. Nugget stood there laughing.
"What's so funny? Not you laughing again" Chloe asks Nugget. "No, it's just that... you guys ever thought of becoming a prisoner in your life?" He kept laughing as he sat down on the ground.
"Never in my life" 07 answered "That piece of shit Xuanyu"
"Fuck!!" Clay shouted out loud as Nugget sighed. Suddenly Jun breaks through the ceiling and comes tumbling down in the hallways. He falls to the ground and smacks his head down "Ouch! Fuck!!" He mimicked Clay's shouting.
"What the heck!" Chloe shouted. They all check out and see who was the one who broke into the prison. "Oh my god... it's Jun!!!" Nugget shouted. "No shit," 07 said. The others look up to see Pierce, Lexie, Helena, Ren, and Misha all up on top of the prison.
"You okay!? Jun!?" Ren shouted as Jun got up from the floor "Yeah!" He shouted back up there. The LCI were confused and happy to see Jun "Jun!" Evelyn shouted, "We killed Leo!"
"I know that," Jun says as he swipes off the dust. He walked around the hallways and looked at every cell "Thank god you all are okay"
He stopped at Quin and was surprised "Quin!?" he shouted. "What?" Quin asked. "Long time no see man! How did you end up in here!?" Jun asks. "Same reasons" he smiled.
Jun looked at everyone "Guys... look... I fucked up... I fucked up so fucking bad that all of you guys went to prison... It turns out... Merp was a liar all along... He lied to all of us... He made us mad... He made us kill Leo"
They all looked down "But... we have to go now!! Everybody in Izuzunu knows that we've killed someone!!! Now... we're on our own"
"What!?" They were all gasped, surprised.
Jun focuses his fire on his sword and slashes all their cells open "We have to go now!!"
Everyone runs out of the cells. Helena throws down a rope as everyone grabs onto the rope and climbs up "Come on! Come on, everyone!"
Everyone gets up to the prison as the guards walk into the room "Hey!!" he shouts out loud. "Jun! Hurry!" Misha shouted out loud, holding his hands out.
Right there, Jun had to do what he had to do. He thought about it, and then he did it.
"I'm sorry..." he charges his sword and blasts the slasher spellbind mixed with flames towards the guards.
The guard gasps "Huh!?" as the slasher decapitates the guard's head off. Jun stood there with his eyes widened "I-... I killed... someone"
He watches as the head rolls around the floor and is terrified at what he's done. The bloody head reveals his eyes rolled up, looking up at the ceiling.
"Jun!" Misha shouted as more guards came rushing into the hallways of the prison cells. Jun quickly jumps up and grabs Misha's arms. Misha pulls him up as the LCI begins running on the roofs and jumps down onto the pads at the back of the prison.
Running into the woods, the prison guards lost Jun and the rest of them "Fuck!! They're gone!"
"Keep running! We're on our own now! Your old lives are over!! When you stepped out of that prison, you are now a wanted criminal!" Jun shouted.
The LCI kept running while looking at each other "We're wanted... criminals?" Helena says to herself.
A few moments later, they stopped at a tree. They are very far from Izuzunu now "Damn it" Jun says as he remembers that the LCI doesn't have their armor. "What is it?" Quin asks.
"Our armors- Your armors... We have to get them back" Jun says. Chloe wonders to Jun "Well, where is it at?" she asked.
Jun catches his breath and faces back toward the direction of Izuzunu "It's at the president's house..."
As the sun sets, everyone watches as their new life starts now.
