Linda walked into the cafeteria and looked around, there wasn't much people in the cafeteria. She got her tray and picked out her choice of food luckily there was a blood section, lately she'd been craving for it.
She placed it on her tray and walked away.
The other boy that was in the fight the other day, walked in to the cafeteria. He held a cup in his hand as he walked in.
"So how was the holiday, Alex." the guy he walked in with asked.
"Really Chris? Whatever... it was as mundane as ever." Alex he replied sarcastically.
"What Happened? You couldn't hunt or what?"
"You of all people should know why." Alex said and walked ahead.
Linda kept her food tray on the table. She was about to start eating but then she remembered that she forgot something.
"Shoot! I forgot my fries. I'll go get get it." she walked back to get the fries.
Alex took a sip from his cup and continued walking ahead of Chris.
"Man! Wait up for a sec." Chris said as he tried to catch up to him.
Alex continued walking until someone bumped into him and he accidentally spilled his drink on Linda's clothes. In other to balance himself held unto the wall, pinning Linda in the process.
She stared at him for a split second. Her fries were on the floor, her clothes were stained and this dufus was still staring at her like she's some piece of fried Chicken. She snapped.
Pushing him away she yelled. "Hey you! That's right you. Are you blind or are eyes not working properly? Because if they ain't working go get them fixed... that's if you have the money for that, dumb monkey!" she flicked her ponytail and looked at the dufus that pinned her. "What are you looking at? Hey? are you also in need of glasses? Ugh! Some hooligan you are! Weirdo" she walked outta the cafeteria and into her dorm.
Alex was still shocked at about the whole drama that unfolded. The boy that bumped into him started crying.
"I'm so sorry for bumping into you. It wasn't my intention to... I promise." he begged.
Alex wasn't paying attention. His eyes flickered with sudden amusement.
He just found something fun to do in this mundane school.
.
Linda had to take her bath again and wear new clothes. In the end, she just decided to stay in her dorm.
The next few days were eventful she got to know Naomi a bit more, and yes she was a bit annoying but she was cool, though she hadn't heard from Marcus.
On a Saturday evening, she laid on her bed sketching until she heard a knock at the door.
She walked towards the door and opened it.
"Oh, it's you again. Seriously, this time I think you're really lost." she said in an irked tone.
"A good evening to you too, I think you're still mad about the incident in the cafeteria lemme tell you something that's gonna cheer you up. There's a party going on and I wanted to invite you to it. Since we're both new students, the old students of the school prepared a party for all of us. C'mon." Naomi said.
"... okay I'll go get ready." Linda said.
"Okay, I'll wait for you." Naomi said as she stood outside.
Not wanting to be rude, Linda invited her in, she somehow thought of her as a friend now. "Make your self comfortable." with that she left.
.
Linda wore a spaghetti strap light pink singlet, black shorts and tied her black leather jacket around her waist and black boots. She tied her jet black hair in a bun and held her purse in her hand.
Naomi wore a blue jeans jacket over her knee length light yellow dress and black Mary Jane's. She let her hair loose and walked along side Linda.
Almost the entire school attended the party. Because the teachers didn't want to be Disturbed they stayed on the outer edge of the forest.
"Oh Hello I'm Victoria Parker, this is AJ Peterson, Laura Anderson, Adam Andrews and Chris Martin. What's your name?" the red head with green eyes said. Victoria was really pretty and nice. She wore an over sized black hoodie and let her curly red hair fall down. She was slim with a charming smile. Who wouldn't want to be her?
"Hi I'm Naomi Rooney and this Linda Holmes." Naomi said conjuring the sweetest smile she could.
"Nice to meet you. What year are you both?"
"We're third year students."
"Really? So are we." Victoria said. "Hey, do you guys wanna play a game with us."
"Sure." Naomi said.
Linda on the other hand was staring at Chris Martin. She blushed when he smiled at her and turned away shyly, to join in the game.
"Let's have a good race shall we. Me and Chris versus you gals." Vicky suggested.
"No not me, I think I'm gonna pass. With your vampire speed, I'll be eating dust."
"Oh, c'mon, we'll run with human speed." Victoria nudged.
"Nah, I'm hungry. I wanna eat something. Have fun Linda." Naomi waved.
"Let's go." Chris said.
"Okay." Linda said.
