I was in a desert, no, I had always been in a desert. Reaching for the bag on my back, I took out a map.
There was a village just hours of walk from here. It had been a while since I restocked on supplies, I wasn't in an adventure, rather I was ordered to scout for ally villages.
It was burning right now even though it was the afternoon, if I wish to go to that village it would be later. "I sighed and walked to a neaby boulder", I narrated my actions, as it was lonely being out on the middle of the scorching desert.
Looking at the from a slight distance, I realized it was larger than most of the houses I had come across. After getting close enough to it, I straightened my posture and breathed deeply.
"Hyaaaa!"
I gripped on the side of it and ripped its side off.
I made space for myself and decided to sit in the shade of the hollow rock. I took a nap and when I woke up it was sunset.
I heard a tune and looked up to see a large serpent. It majestically glode through the sky as a scale fell from it's heavily armored body.
'I wonder what reaction those guys will have if they see it', I thought to myself. Out of the 28 times I exited the village, I've only seen it 3 times.
Since I didn't wanna have to go through a potential herd of beasts I began on lightly jogging towards the place.
I was bored out of my mind at this point so I decided to entertain myself. 'If I found a pretty girl, should I ask her to date me?', I asked myself.
These types of questions ran through my mind all for the sake of entertainment, after all my tastes regarding anyone for the matter were strict.
As I got closer to the village the night was already looming over me. I looked up to see the bright shine of the stars, I spent a while looking at them.
I could see a orange hue coming towards me from the sky. I was captivated by its warm colour and stood still.
I knew what was coming towards me, it was a "chaotic ember", some of the village folk told me it was a way to get what you wished for.
I closed my eyes and wished for a world full of plants. As I opened my eyes I could see it was just a split second from crushing me-
