Chapter 35 - The Festival is Getting Closer

Tama just came out of Kirana's room. Kirana can see that Tama seems to be hurt by Kirana's words. But Kirana still thinks that it is a natural thing. Moreover, Tama has been indifferent to the residents of the Villa. But in reality, Kirana doesn't want to have any further feelings for Tama. She has realized that her true love is General John Willem. Kirana should focus more on getting her true love. Tama was just a slave, nothing more, so it didn't feel necessary to have too close a relationship with him.

Night's getting late. Dreams about Kirana's past now come back to Tama's dreams. In the dream, Tama saw General John Willem kneeling before the queen of the Netherlands. It seemed he was about to take orders from the Queen.

The Queen ordered General John Willem to immediately kill the royal family, especially King Sanjaya and Prince Wardhana.

"Can we have a war without anyone losing their lives?" asked General John Willem.

"That can't happen, General. You know that! The choice is our troops who die or their troops. And you have to remember who you work for", said the Queen.

General John Willem came out of the Queen's study. He went to his military base on an island close to the location of the kingdom led by King Sanjaya. He met the soldiers and revealed the strategy of killing King Sanjaya and Prince Wardhana.

Even though General John Willem loves Kirana. He didn't risk his life to save Kirana's family. If Kirana's marriage to General John Willem had been carried out in the past, of course, Kirana would still feel hurt, because her father and biological brother had been killed by her husband.

Tama woke up from his sleep. His heart was beating fast. His face was full of sweat dripping down. Tama took a glass of water that was on his bedside table, then drank it. The dream drained his mind.

"It turns out that the General is not the best, if you only love but can't give happiness, can it be called true love?", Tama said in his heart.

Tama went back to sleep.

Morning has come, and Kirana is counting the piles of tickets that have been printed previously by Devan. Tama comes to Kirana to offer help, but Kirana says that all the festival preparation work is done. Help from Tama is no longer needed. After that Kirana told Tama to immediately get out of Kirana's study. Tama walks out listlessly, but Kirana calls out to him.

"Eh, wait a minute!", shouted Kirana.

"Yes, Princess, is there anything I should do?" asked Tama.

"Here are 2 tickets, you give these to Nadia and her office friend", replied Kirana.

Unexpectedly Kirana is still kind enough to Tama to give his lover a ticket. So far, Tama has felt that Kirana has never cared about Nadia. But it felt very awkward when Tama took the ticket from Kirana's hand. He still doesn't like Kirana. This time he felt that his relationship with Kirana was only limited to slaves and masters.

"After the full moon, I will decide on Nadia and will let her go. After all, we already live in different worlds", said Tama.

"It's up to you".

Tama comes out of Kirana's study. He walked slowly. He just realized what he just said to Kirana. How could he leave Nadia so quickly? It's still not worth the time Tama has waited from elementary school until graduating from college. Tama still can't leave Nadia.

"What did I just say? I just said nonsense", said Tama.

Meanwhile, Kirana sat daydreaming. She's still in her study. She felt that she had gone too far. She should still be on good terms with Tama, even though she wants to keep her distance from Tama. Kirana should be able to treat Tama the same way she treated Denok and Limbur. The relationship between master and slave should still be fine.

"Tama, sorry! This is for my mission to return to being a human".

When it gets dark. Tama changes his appearance to a human. He left the Villa and headed for Jakarta to meet Nadia. Denok saw Tama who rushed out of the Villa. Meanwhile, Limbur was engrossed in sleeping at the security post. Denok beat Limbur until he woke up.

"Oops! Forgive me! Forgive", shouted Limbur.

"Ugh, you sleepyhead! That's Hatam went out, why aren't you asking where is he going? You still enjoy sleeping!"

"Hatam? who?" asked Limbur.

"Hatam, Handsome Tama. Who do you think?"

Denok, who felt annoyed, walked quickly to Kirana's study to report that Tama had left without telling her or Limbur anything. But Kirana's answer was disappointing to Denok.

"It's up to him where he wants to go" said Kirana.

"But princess, are you sure you'll let Tama continue to stick with Nadia?" asked Denok.

"Then what should I do?"

"Princess doesn't need to hide it from me, I know princess has special feelings with Tama"

"I don't want to waste my time having feelings with someone who is not my true love. He will not take us back to human again", said Kirana.

Kirana asks Denok to go back to her room because Kirana has also finished work and will sleep early. However, Denok is still a little disappointed.

Denok has returned to her room. She was still thinking about Kirana. Denok keeps a secret that she has been keeping to herself all this time. The secret was about General John Willem's conversation before he was finally hunted by Prince Wardhana.

FLASHBACK

Hundreds of years ago, Denok was picking vegetables in the fields. Suddenly she heard the sound of the hooves of 2 horses in tandem. Denok who felt that her safety would be threatened, she turned into a snake and hid in a tree. It turned out that the horse was being ridden by Prince Wardhana and General John Willem.

That day Denok saw Prince Wardhana and General John Willem fighting, then the General threatened to kill the royal family. Prince Wardhana was emotional and immediately threw his sword at General John Willem's body until he was injured. It was before Kirana came and saved General John Willem.

Denok knows that the General loves Kirana so much and he is willing to die for her. But the General came with bad intentions at first.

"True love can't begin with bad intentions, I believe true love begins with sincerity" said Denok.

A few days later, the Full Moon arrived. The residents of the Villa were already at the Summer Hotel to prepare for the magic festival that would take place that day. And that day, Tama also did not want to lose his role to help Kirana. When the festival officially opened, crowds of visitors entered the festival area, including Nadia, who that night came with Dewi.

"I didn't expect my boyfriend to work like this, he deserves to be always busy," said Nadia.
