Over seventy-five million years ago, there was a whole world war. No one knows what started the war, and no one knew why the Gods didn't intervene. The Gods tried to guide their children away from the path of violence, however, their children would refuse to listen. They were filled with too much pain and hatred. They could not be reasoned with. They were beyond repaired.
The Gods wept tears of sorrow, as the mighty Gods failed to protect their precious children. The Gods' hope slipped painfully slowly from their holy grasp until a young Goddess spoke.
"There is still time. It is not too late." the Goddess spoke.
The other Gods stared down upon the Goddess with doubtful eyes.
"There is still a way to save them, but we all must do it together." the Goddess said.
The Gods glanced at one another, their eyes returned to the young Goddess. Although they were doubtful, the Gods were also desperate. All the Gods agreed with the young Goddess. The Gods gathered and stored their energy into one. The Gods then released their power and cast an unbreakable spell. The Gods' children were given their final blessing.
The world population were divided into two societies: the Shurot and the Esier.
The Shurot were people with the ability to absorb and manipulate the elements. The Esier were people that could store energy and release energy. Both of the Shurots and Esiers wanted to continue the war with their new powers. However, something prevented them from doing so.
The Shurots continuously died from starvation. No matter how much they ate, it was never enough. The Esiers' energy was powerful and beautiful as a rose, while also being painful and toxic as the thorns attached to it. Shurots could control the elements, but it would always leave them hungry. Esiers could harness the energy around them, but it becomes a poison in an amount of time.
Was the Gods' blessing turned out to be a curse?
The Shurot and Esiers continued to struggle through their agonizing lives. Then one day, a Shurot met an Esier. Though they were enemies, they did not fight one another. What would be the point? Both of them were at the brink of death. Instead, they sat by each other.
"I'm so hungry." said the Shurot. "I would eat anything."
"Anything?" Esier quoted. "If that's the case, then could you eat this?"
Esier offered their hand as a burst of flame released from their palm. The Shurot stared with awe. The flame emitting from the Esier was so bright and so warm. It made the Shurot drool. The Shurot gulped heavily in their dry throat. The Shurot then opened their mouth wide and consumed the burning flame. Relief spread across the Esier's body.
Once was starve, now is full. Once was poisoned, now is cured.
The Shurot and Esier gathered others from both of their societies and created their own nation. To symbolize the Shurot, the Esier and the Gods' sacrifice, the nation was called under the name: The Naos Federation.
