In Amaris's room,
Moonlight filtered through the canopy of trees beside his shut window, casting ethereal shadows upon the four-poster bed.
Steam from the shower curled through the air, enveloping the bedroom in a hazy mist.
Amaris emerged from the shower and came to stand before a mirror, a towel wrapped around his waist and another one in his right hand which he used to dry his blond locks. Droplets of water clung to his toned human form, glistening like tiny diamonds in the soft warm glow of the bedside lamp.
Suddenly his blue eyes narrowed in on a newly formed scar on his side magically healing fast amongst a number of other old scars.
Dropping the towel in his hands with a sigh, he let his thoughts wander to what happened earlier that evening.
The encounter he had with Dazaine today was unexpected but his first altercation between the fadas was even more unprecedented to him.
