Gazing into the eyes of her former lover, Laura blinked after a while and picked up her teaspoon. She didn't want to get scalded by his smoldering gaze.
"You are not the only one with the thought to turn back time Greg. I have also thought about it especially after my son and daughter-in-law died. But we know too well the consequences." She said, mindlessly stirring her already lukewarm tea.
Frowning slightly, she thought in her heart that she would have to make herself a new cup.
Greg watched the woman before him as she avoided his gaze and confession and didn't know whether to laugh or cry when he noticed that her attention had been brought back to the tea.
The look of distaste on her face showed she didn't want that cup of tea anymore.
Sighing lightly, he thought, 'Forget it. Might as well focus on my present mission or else this woman would probably anger me to death.'
