Chapter thirty two
Fred POV.
"Say my name again." I whispered.
This girl was getting me bad and I don't even evade it.
She opened her mouth to say something and I waited impatiently to hear my name again.
"I am sorry sir for calling you by your first name. I am not sure I know what came over me." She timidly said. She had broken free from the gaze and was looking around, avoiding my eyes like a plague or something. Everything else has suddenly become interesting.
No, but I never mean to look down on you or make you feel like you've done something wrong.
"I don't mind." I quickly said without thinking.
My heart was still skipping beats.
She swallowed then moved away. Far away.
"Sir, don't you think we should get some rest now since we'll have to leave early tomorrow to get home safely." She said.
I swallowed down some saliva that had formed in my mouth to wet my dry throat a bit.
