Aurora's POV
"Do you always have this many night time visitors?"
Crap where did that come from, and why wasn't I paying more attention. Suddenly I was tuched on the shoulder, I grabbed the hand on my shoulder and twisted it then pushed the man away. I threw a wild couple of punches, only one connecting to my attacker. Then I tried kicking my attacker but my leg was grabbed and my back hit the ground.
"That wasn't very nice." The man said grabbing me up from the ground and putting his arms around my wrist and cuffing my hands behind my back with his hands.
"Peter." I almost screamed out of breath and scared. "What are you doing here?"
Peter's eyes had those white swirls circling around, once again making his eyes look like a whirlpools in the middle of a beautiful green/blue ocean. He held me close, almost hugging me, but with the way he was breathing, and his eyes becoming whiter, almost completely covering the green blue. He was angry.
"Who was that?" Peter asked radiating rage
"No one important." I whispered still slightly breathless.
"He looked pretty important to me, you were holding his hands, and then he was holding you." Peter squeezed me a little more forcefully than I think he intended and I let out a soft squeak, but he didn't soften his grip.
I couldn't tell him the truth about Danquiel, but I didn't want to tell him a lie to him either. "I can't tell you, who that was or why he was here, but it wasn't what you think."
Peter nodded his head. Did he believe me, his face said he didn't, but what does it matter I thought, and why should I care what Peter thinks, why am I even trying to explain myself to him. He leaned his head close and mine I was sure he was going to kiss me, but he just hovered in front of my face, our forheads tuching.
"Why are you here?" I whispered to him, once again really wondering why he was in my yard in the middle of the night. One move forward and our lips would touch, I could feel his breath while I asked this.
"Why didn't you stop and pick me up today, I really could have used a ride?" He whispered back changing the subject for seemingly no reason
"I couldn't." I whispered and turned my head away and down to the ground. He let my arms go, and I hadn't even noticed he had until my arms fell back to my side, but now that he had moved I felt the chill in the air. Peter put his hand out and lifted my chin up until our eyes met.
"I knew that," he leaned in close and whispered in my ear, "try and keep your secrets, you'll tell me sooner or later." Then he released me turned and walked away.

Peter's POV
Wow walking away from her was a lot harder than I thought it would be. I had gone over to Aurora's house to kiss her I knew that would end this strange obsive feeling I had about her, it just had to, then I saw her holding hands with that man, then hugging him. I couldn't hear what was being said but seeing her with that man, he was well dressed and handsome, not like in a gay way, in a Aurora would probably be better off with someone like that way. The anger that built inside of me, I just wanted to run over and smash that well dressed dicks head in. I held myself back and was going to just leave, but the man just disappeared right in front of my eyes. I had to ask her about it, but she gave up no information about the well dressed disappearing man.
I ran home, I didn't live to far just 4 or 5 miles I loved to run and I need to be away from people. I strode in the front door Matt was sitting on the couch, feet stretched out on the coffee table, watching some kind of old black and white horror movie.
"Where you been bro?" Matt asked as I plopped down on the couch next to him. I said nothing I just gowned and punched a pillow next to me. "That good huh, you know I know where you were I just asked to be polite."
"Shut up Matt, you know nothing, are mom and Becca home yet?"
"Yeah but they already went to bed, I'll tell you what I do know," Matt said, "I know you followed that girl all day, and I am sure you went to her house as well tonight. So what happened, did you get rejected for the first time." Matt laughed, and rubbed his face like he was a crying baby. "Her name is Aurora right." Matt laughed even harder as my scowl deepened. "Chill her cousin told me, cuz unlike you I just asked for a phone number and I am texting a pretty girl now, not stalking one." He waved his phone mockingly
"I got her phone number, and I don't get rejected." I spat out at him. Then I stood and marched to my room. Stupid, dumb Matt like I don't know how to get girls, and like I would get rejected, but it did remind me that I did have Aroura's phone number. I dug in my pockets for the paper Aroura had written her schedule and number on. I got my phone out, she wouldn't be asleep yet he had only left her less than 20 minutes, even though it was 2 a.m. I got my cell phone and dialed the number unsure what I would say. The phone rang 3 times then a message.
"You have reached Southwest Pizza, we are closed at this time. Our hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. 7 days a week, thank you for calling."
I checked the number and even tried the number three more times she had really given me a fake phone Now I knew I wasn't going to sleep for sure now.
Aurora's POV
I must have fallen asleep because Lola was shaking me awake and it was bright outside. Lola was already dressed and looked great as usual, she almost always wore dresses, or skirts, or something that made her look lovely and feminine, which I didn't understand I hate wearing dresses, and skirts, and most days I throw on the first thing I grab. I don't dress up if I don't have to. I have even seen her fight demons in a skirt, and wedge heels; it makes her look like one of those anemia characters, and also explains why the one clothing item she has the most of is spandex shorts, she always has a pair on under her skirt, just in case.
Our house, as always, has six bedrooms but one room is used as a dojo for training and the other is an armory, filled with anything we might need to protect the gates. Really it's kind of nice having Lola and I share I don't make many friends so really my family is all I have.
"You need to hurry and get ready, we only have 20 min before school starts." Lola was still shaking me
"I'm up geez you couldn't have given me more time." I said stetching and grabbing the first cloths I touched, it would probably match most of my clothes are dark colors, with some red thrown in as pretty much my main " real color" choice.
Oghh school I thought where I would have to see Peter again, I still wasn't sure what he was but I was beginning to relilize that for a small town there are a lot of strange things that take up residence here.
That day at school I went about my day going to classes and trying to keep to myself as much as possible. In my 2nd period class though there was a girl that would not stop talking to me, I think she said her name was Jessie or Jamie or something that started with a J. I hadn't noticed her yesterday; I had probably been too fixated on Peter following me around to notice much else.
"So do you like it here, I mean I know you have only been here like two days, and what was that hethan Peter doing in class yesterday, Huh" I had just been spacing out, until she herd Peter's name come out of Jessica's (or whatever her J name is's) mouth. Ugh what was this girl's name.
"What do you mean?" I asked
"Well you know, I don't like to speak ill of anyone, but that boy and his family are bad news," the disgust in her voice was evident with her just talking about Peter's family "they are devil worshipers, they throw big drunken parties and don't go to church, and they don't give a darn about anyone or anything, especially him and his rotten brother Matt, they hook-up with girls then throw them aside like garbage."
Wow was she speaking from experience or something cuz she was not happy. And what was her name Justeen, Julie, crap I just couldn't remember.
" So anyways what church do you and your family go to, you should totally come to my church this Sunday, it's called the Goodie Group Church." I almost stood and ran; I didn't know The Goodie Group had reached this far west. Luckily for me my teacher started in with the lesson and I acted like I was very interested in learning. Man I'm going to have to have a family talk tonight to figure out what needs to be done about the Goodie Group. This is going to complicate things for us.
The rest of my classes went by so slow I was so anxious about the meeting with the white horseman after school it consumed my thoughts, but also gave me a break from thinking about Peter, and now having to worry about Goodie Group being near by as well.
It was lunch now and I found my cousin Ella sitting with that Matt boy again, I could see why girls would be attracted to him he had such dark hair it was almost blue, and it was a little longer in the front so it sweeped across his brow line. And that black hair made his emerald green eyes sparkle against the palest white skin, he made me look taned. He was wearing a normal t-shirt but even though it wasn't tight on him you could tell he was quite muscular. He was just the type Ella liked. Now that I was thinking about what J name girl said about these boys, I needed to separate Ella from this Matt boy, not because of the devil worship thing, I am sure that some Goodie Group BS, but because of the womanizing thing, even if we won't be here long I still don't want my family hurt. I sat at the table, and fake coughed to get Ella and Matt's attention. Peter wasn't in site so I felt a little more at ease. Then I heard my name being called. What the hell. I stood and looked around the cafeteria, a pizza delivery guy was standing there calling out my name.
I got up and went over to a pizza guy. "I'm Aurora"
"I have a pizza here for you, it'll be $12.89"
"I didn't order a pizza."
"Well it has your name on it and it needs to be paid for so." The pizza guy said putting his hand out
"Fine" I reached in my backpack and pulled out a $20
The pizza guy gave me my change and my surprise pizza then looked at me expectantly waiting for a tip with his palm held out. I just ignored the look and took my pizza over to the table. I know rude but I didn't even order a pizza.
"Cool, you ordered pizza." Ella said opening the box to get out a slice. Matt followed suit grabbing a slice of pizza from the box
"No I didn't" I said a little confused and a lot irritated
"Oh good," Peter said finally making it to the table "you got the pizza I ordered you, I figured it must be your favorite since you got it confused with your own phone number." He eased into a seat right next to me and grabbed a slice. "So are you gonna give me your number, now."
"No give him the number to that Chinese place, I am really in the mood for some sweat and sour pork." Matt laughed
"If you're gonna pay next time I am fine with that." I said then grabbed myself a slice and walked away. I had no intention of giving Peter my number, our mission was too vital, I don't have time to play games with boys and especially this boy.
What an ass Peter is, he thinks he is so funny and clever, I don't have time, and he would defiantly not get my number from me ever. Lola, Ella, and Ethan came running after me and when they caught up they were laughing hysterically.
"That was the best." Lola said slapping me on the back, "that dude so is into you."
"Hey, guys" I started quietly "I heard something today, about those boys, we need to stay away from them, and we have more pressing matters than "socialising." I air quoted the word socialising
"Why what have you herd?" Ella sounded nervous, had she heard what I heard
"Those boys have a rep for using girls, and I think that's why they have attached to us so quickly, so we wouldn't know about them." When I finished Ella let out a big sigh of relief, that's odd
"You need to find a new friend." Ethan demanded.
Ella started off down the hall obviously not wanting to hear any more talk about this subject. "Do you hear me?" Ethan practically screamed at Ella
"Yes" Ella yelled back and down the hall she stomped..
