Waking to the sound of her crying, Vince speaks to her, "Sidney, please stop crying you are going to make yourself sick?"
"Leave me alone," seeing her limp out the room, "Oh God, where is she going now. Her foot is not better and now she is walking on it."
Hearing GP calling after him, Vince stops, "Son, what is wrong and where is Sidney going this late?"
"GP it's Sidney."
Seeing how broken and worried he was, "Son, tell me what is wrong?"
"GP, her Hall was destroyed by fire today and she had only seen it in the news earlier. When I returns from the office, I found her on the floor and it seems she had fainted.
GP, she has only recovered a while ago and it seems she is going to the Hall."
Seeing everyone listening Vince said, "I am going to look for her."
"Yes, Son hurry along, Charles, will you go with him to son."
Hearing Charles asking, "Vince, are you sure she was walking?"
"Yes, Charles, she ran out before me, right before GP stop me."
"Maybe, she calls someone to pick her up?"
"Charles, she give away her phone, and I don't think she bought a new one as yet."
"Well, she cannot reach this far on her feet, her foot is still healing up," Charles said.
"I know Charles, I am just so worried, she is not well, and so many things have been happening to her from the moment we got married and reached this house."
Charles glimpse at him thinking, 'He sounds concerned but hearing the mummering between the family members, they all believed that he had something to do with her mishap.'
Reaching Haley's Hall only Sidney was not there, "We could wait here Vince, she might come in a while." Charles said, seeing how worried he was.
Vince observed the place was empty and there was not a soul in sight, only the remains from the fire. Vince recalled at that moment her dream when she keep shouting, 'to out the fire. he knew immediately she was worried about her mother.
"No, Charles I am going to her home, I am sure she must be worried about her mom."
"You are right Vince, and her mom is not well herself." When harles drive up to the entrance, Vince sees an ambulance in their driveway.
"Oh no, this is not good," Vince whispers before stepping out of the car and hurrying down to the house.
Hearing Haley screaming he rushes to the side of the ambulance. Vince thought his mother-in-law must have gotten sick. Peeping inside the ambulance, it was the grandmother that had taken ill. Looking around for Sidney but she was nowhere in sight.
Watching the medic take her, Vince hugs Haley, "It's alright honey, she will be fine." Whispering to Georgia, "Has Sidney comes here?"
Seeing the nod as the tears flow, he knew she was thinking about her grandmother. Hearing her tells her Aunt to call after they attended to her grandmother. As they leaves she said to me, "She is with Mom."
"Thank God, I was so worried."
Hearing Georgia asks, "Who told her that the Hall was on fire?"
"It seems she was looking at the news when she sees what had happened. Georgia when I reached home she was unconscious on the floor, and as soon as she recovered she came over."
Seeing her crying Vince hugs her, "It will be alright, we just have to be grateful, no one got hurt."
"Who could have done such a wicked and evil act, we help so many people, why would God allows something like this to happen to honest hard working people?"
"Do you think someone, set the fire?" Seeing her nodded, "Has the police caught anyone?" She just shakes her head. "Georgia, where is Carol?"
"She is with Mom too."
"Okay, come on let us go inside, Gramma will be fine. Come, honey, let me fix you some tea." Vince notices the dinner table was set, but no one had eaten. With much coaxing, he gets Haley to eat a little and drink her tea.
It wasn't much longer as we enters inside the phone rang. When Georgia answered Vince suspected it was Jeff and he was at the station handling the report.
Entering their mom's room, Carol was sitting on the bed, but Sidney was lying with her mom, it seems as though she was asleep, touching Carol to come outside.
Vince got them to sit at the table, helping them dish out their food, but they just looked at the food and push it aside, only the tears and the subbing filled the room.
Having no idea what to do, Vince told Charles to go home and he will stay overnight with the family. Sitting with them as Haley came and settled on his lap.
When she fell asleep, Vince put her to bed but Georgia and Caroline could not stop crying. Hearing someone running down just as he did.
Vince went out to see who was it, recognizing it was the gentleman Georgia was with at the club, seeing him come bouncing through.
Going straight to Georgia, "Oh honey, I just got the news."
Seeing them consoling each other, Carol left and went into her room. Having no choice Vince just lies on the sofa, no one shows him where Sidney's room was but he understood how confused they were. All he was thinking was, 'His wife needs him, and he was unable to comfort her.'918
Glimpsing a few times in Georgia's direction. Hearing the two of them whispering to each other, seeing the way he comforts her, turning aside knowing Sidney doesn't even want him to touch her.
But who can give her wrong she has been hurt by Gilbert and she did say she hates all men, that includes me. But being here for her is what's important, at least she will know I care even if she thinks I don't.'
