Chapter 225 - Chapter 225, Awakened Blood of the Ancient

"Arata? Can you hear us?" A voice called to me.

I opened my eyes and I saw the figure of Anrie floating in what I can see to be a land of night.

"Anrie? Why am I here?" I asked.

"We had to call you here. We're very sorry." Isca apologized. "But they need your help."

I got up to see that we were somewhere I wasn't familiar with. There was a night sky decorated with stars, I can see a ridge of light that must be the darkness of the two worlds.

"They're over there." Cedar says as he patted my head.

I turned to see shadowy figures, they stood at the very edge of the border. I wonder who those are.

"Allie the one who became the one known as Alioth. Cory the one named Cor-Caroli, and Sion the one given the name Procyon." Rezia stated. "They are unable to cross to this side because they weren't purified properly."

"We called you here to ask for your help. We know we have no right to do this but won't you please help them!" Azir bowed and even kneeled.

"We all do." Alma kneeled and so did the others.

"Please, there's no need to kneel! This is my job." I smiled as I walked towards the shadowy figures. "Will my magic even work here?"

"I think it'll be fine." Leno answered so I plucked a strand of my hair.

"Oh Ancients, your light were the light of hope, your darkness were the darkness of despair, Ancients that were and is, may you rest now..." I said and the strand of hair turned into a peony blossom. "Take your leave from the stage of destiny, Alioth, Cor-Caroli, Procyon!"

With a blow of my breath the flower spreads forth and the petals dance forward, they fly towards the borders in a glow of light and a flurry of flowers. The flowers cover the three and with a bright light they are brought to this side.

"Allie! Sion! Cory! Over here!" Ragel called out to them. "Thanks a lot Arata."

"It's my pleasure." I answered.

"Man it's great to be free." Allie says and then smiled at me. "Hahaha, thanks a bunch!"

"You've got a good heart kid. We owe you a bunch." Cory says.

"Thank you." Sion smiled.

"Well, I should be heading back." I answered.

"Just a minute." Anrie stops me and smiled. "I wouldn't say it's in exchange but here's a little something from us."

"Accept it. It's your's by right." Ragel smiled.

Something warm begins to glow from within me and I wake up in my room.

I get up and walk to the mirror I can't help but gasp at my current condition. My blonde hair has turned silver-blonde, it's wavy nature has turned straight and without a doubt longer. It's so long that it reaches my knees.

"Is this their idea of a prank?!" I exclaimed.

"What are you complaining about so early in the morning?" A still sleepy Sidwell asked.

"Look at me!" I exclaimed.

"Oh? That hair and those eyes, further more this magical power? Did the blood in you awaken?" Sidwell asked.

"Explain! Right now!" I tried to grab him and that's when my hands actually manage to touch him.

"Hehe. Since you can touch me, it means that you're blood has indeed awakened." He answered and say down. "I'll explain so listen well."

"Okay." I answered.

"As you know, your body houses Ancient Blood. This much you know right?" He asked and I nodded my head. "Now, the Blood of an Ancient grants us our power. Awakening is moment the Blood inside us emerges and we truly become Ancients.

"So am I becoming an Ancient?!" I exclaimed.

"Of course not. You can't become what you already are. You were born with Felicia's blood. That blood has been flowing inside you, protecting you, guarding you and helping you all this time." He stated. "But that Blood never awakened. Meaning it has not yet revealed the full potential of its host."

"So what's this potential you keep talking about!" I asked.

"You're seeing it now. That hair, those eyes and the mana wrapping around you is the potential you have. " He stated. "And your body should be much more stronger than before, you won't be killed that easily either."

"That's all?" I asked because I know there's more than he is telling me.

"You should've gained it, the senses of the Ancients." He stated. "Try closing your eyes and perceiving the world around you."

I do as he say and that's when I feel myself turn into a puffy cloud, lie I'm floating in a sea of air. I open my eyes and find myself a few feet off the ground.

"There are more too. For now, try to focus and imagine that there's a giant box overflowing with mana." He says. "Can you picture it?"

I focus and try to imagine the box and after a while I manage to imagine it.

"I think I got it." I answered.

"Now, I want you to cover that box." He says. "It'll be a bit hard at first but you should be able to do it."

I try and I feel like the lid is too heavy. For a while I'm stuck at this point till I eventually manage to seal ths box.

"Perfect. Now you won't bee scattering your Mana and Vi pointlessly." He stated and I opened my eyes but my dair was still silver-blonde.

"Why won't it change back?" I asked.

"Because that's how it'll look from now on. There are ways to change it." He smiled. "Don't worry, I'll teach all I know. I'm sure Felicia and the others will help to. So don't worry."

"I won't." I answered and just then a knock ce at my door.

"Arata, are you still asleep? It's time to eat. Come on out." With Theo knocking at the door, I knew I had to explain this to the others.

"I'm on my way!" I answered with a smile.

I'm not scared, I am who I am, no matter I look like. I'm sure the others will be fine as long as I explain things to them.

With this in my mind, I open my door to a new day and a new me.
