Chapter 182 - Chapter 182, Sweet Arms

"Forward Malefic Gunner of the Sacred Flower." He says to me and I rise.

"I'm taking you down, Aldebaran!" I charged towards him.

"Let's see what you can do!" He says and throws his axe at me.

"Sweet Arms, All Arms Deployed!" With what I can only call as evolution, I also gained new abilities.

My Article, has completely changed or should I say multiplied. A pistol and a shot gun, Sweet Arms is what I'll be calling them. I also notice that my clothes have changed.

Black pants with a white longsleeve and brown vest with a black coat. On my belt the Sacred Flower Crest is engraved, and on my neck a necklace with my Crest hanged. Heavy metal boots that feel light but powerful tell me that I can kick painfully. Whatever this is I'm wearing, I like it. And I'll use it to throw that bastard into the skies and pummel him into the ground.

"Sweet Arms, Sharp Shot!" I fire my guns, each gun aims with so much power and precision.

I can't even imagine how many guns I've taken out yet I don't feel heavy or exhausted. The Vi within me is constantly being refilled as it exits. Each bullet fires and almost every last one lands. How is that possible?

"Sweet Arms; Trigger Terror!" I hold my pistol and shotgun and begin shooting at him.

"Tch. Disappear, Nights Edge!" He suddenly shlshes away all my guns with his axe.

"Sweet Arms, Lock-on Target, Circle Assualt." Once again countless guns form a circle around Aldebaran and they fire. Aldebaran isn't able to block them all at the same time and he falls to the ground. "Arata, if you're gonna do something hurry!"

Arata nods and rushes off, I could already tell from his eyes, he wants to heak everyone. I can only help him by buying him some time.

"I can keep this up for a long time, so give up. You aren't winning." I warned Aldebaran.

"You think I'll give in that easily? Ha! I'll bury my axe in the head skull of yours, child!" He answered.

----

William was fighting with the Aldebaran, I was trying to help the others but my ability to heal isn't as good as most Braves.

"Hinako...chan..." I coukd hear Reina's voice calling to me and I saw her, buried under the rubble.

"Hang in there!" I told her as I tried to get the pile of rubble off of her.

"Allow me." Arata, who joined my side said as he pushed aside the rubble.

I didn't say anything, I know I was out of line with what I said to William on our date but I won't take it back. William needs to learn that Arata can stand on his own two feet and that he needs to accept the fact that he needs to live his own life.

"Hold on Reina. I'll help you." I told her as I tried healing her wounds.

"Growth, A Lot of Life." Above us, a small circle formed, and our wounds begun to heal.

This is Arata's power? He can heal wounds this severe? Unbelievable! He really is gifted and loved by Vi like Mao told me.

"Thank you... Arata." I thanked him.

"You're welcome... however, it won't be enough." He said as his eyes fell on the battlefield.

------

It won't be enough, A Lot of Life won't be enough to heal everyone here. I need to heal everyone before the damage is too great but... I don't know of a spirit with healing capabilities. Just then, I remember what Fleur told me. If my power is the power of creation, then I just have to make it.

I close my eyes, visualize what I want to create and grant it Vi. And, as I do, something begins to form in the darkness, a bright blue butterfly that falls into my hand. I open my eyes and I see that the butterfly is in my hand. Its become a hairpin. I fastened it to my hair and realized that this butterfly was more powerful than I had initially expected.

"I, Arata, hereby command thee, source of the worlds, essence of the Braves, head my call and become my power." I chanted. "Lamplight of life, origin of destiny, gather, swell and spread! Lumiére de la Vie!"

The Vi around me beginsbto condense and solidify, becoming butterflies and they spread from where I stand towards every direction. Each landing on one person and healing them instantly.

"Arata! Back up has arrived!" I heard Chase call out from above. "Sorry for the wait!"

"Perfect timing! Help me rescue the others!" I told them.

"I'll help with the healing!" The Black Turtle and Snow said.

With everyone's help we were able to rescue all the fighters, Will was still locked in battle with Aldebaran. I have to help him but... I'm too worried about the others to go up to where they are.

"Argent..." Theo, who was extremely banged up from Aldebaran's attack, calls my name.

"Theo?" I came to his side. "Does it hurt anywhere?"

"Argent... go... to him..." He says.

"Go Arata! We'll be fine." Reinhardt coughed. "Hurry, William will need your help."

"Go!" Lucas shouted at me.

"Okay! Don't any if you dare die on me!" I warned them as I headed to the skies to help Will.

Above the sea of clouds, I find Will, his guns pointed at Aldebaran, both badly wounded but refuse to give in. I'm about to begin chanting when Will's gaze stops me. That one gaze is all it takes for me to understand.

'Back off for now. It's our fight.'

I nod and I fly back down to everyone's surprise. I look up to the skies. No one asks, they know why I've returned. Will intends to settle this on his own, no one interferes, not any Brave, not the other Swords and not me. This is Will'sfight and one he is intent on winning. For himself and for us.

"May Fortune Favor the Brave." I simply look up to the sky.
