As Arata and his friends reaffirmed their bond with each other, elsewhere, Licht, Karin and Pierrot were planning their move but little did they know that Addy and Eddy were preparing their own plan, to free their friend.
"So, do what do we do?" Addy asked Eddy.
"Do we seek help from the Le Fleur or... do we take matters into our own hands first?" Eddy asked.
"Let's seek help from the Le Fleur first." Addy said.
"What if he doesn't believe us?" Eddy asked.
"He will, he must also want to know why the master is doing this, let's talk to the Le Fleur." Addy stated.
The two have been by Licht's side since before he aas chosen to be the next Beacon, they grew up together and shared a bond like no other. As they remember the bygone days where they were carefree, they wondered how things ended up this way.
------
"Eddy! Addy, let's play!" A young boy, with white hair and white skin with red eyes smiled at the two twins who were sitting underneath an oak tree.
"What should we play?" Eddy, a young boy with wavy brown hair, golden eyes and white skin asked.
"Whatever we can enjoy!" Addy smiled, as her wavy blonde hair danced in the air, her sapphire eyes shining and her skin a fair shade of white.
Addy and Eddy were twins, they lived in an isolated town, next door to them was Licht who grew up without any parents. The twins parents disliked the idea of them playing with Licht but the two didn't listen and would always play with Licht when their parents were away.
As they played tag in the meadow, Addy and Eddy only had one thing in their mind. That their days would go on without any change.
"Addy, Eddy, thanks for being friends with me." Licht smiles at them as they sat under the oak tree again.
"What's this all of a sudden?" Eddy asked.
"No reason. I just wanted to tell you how much you meant to me." He answered with a smile.
"We'll always be together, from now on." Addy told him. "It's a promise."
"Yeah. It's a promise." Licht answered witha bright smile on his face.
Such days were now dreamlike to the two, the smile that Licht made that day was a bright one. Shining like the sun, bringing life to the two.
As they went home, Eddy and Addy opendd the door to their home and they could hear their parents fighting again.
"What are you doing?! Letting the kids play with that child?!" Their fathered shouted.
"You don't have a right to criticize me!! You're not sven home throughout the day!!" Their mother shouted back.
The two had gotten used to this so much that they simply go up to their room and lock the door tightly. The twins would then sit their, talk or play till finally, a knock came at their door and they'd go down to eat their supper.
"Addy, Eddy, how was your day?" Their father asked.
"It was fun Daddy." Eddy answered. "We played a lot."
"Oh, is that so? I'm glad." Their father answered but deep down their father hated the idea that they were enjoying their time with Licht.
Meanwhile, Licht would wander through his home where he lived by himself. He would always be outside during the day because at day he could see the twins but when night comes, he'd be by himself. He cooks his own meal and eats and goes to sleep, excited for the next day when he could play with the twins again. To him, the twins were irreplaceable.
As time went on, the three spent every day together and had formed a bond stronger than blood. The days went by quickly but to them each day was precious.
"Wehn we grow up, let's leave this place and see what the world is like!" Licht said one day as they were sitting under the tree's shade.
"Outside? Outsude the town?" Addy asked with sparkling eyes.
"Yeah! Let's go! We can do! The three of us, together forever!" Eddy exclaimed and they made a promise.
One day, as the three were sitting by the river bed, their peaceful days were distrubed with the Chimeras arrival into their hometown. Their town, which was sscluded had no Braves, no means to protect it.
"Addy, Eddy, hurry, this way!!" Licht called to the two guiding them to where they could hide.
The twins were running, hastily and quickly to escape the Chimeras but couldn't outrun them and Addy falls. Licht runs for the two and shields them from the Chimeras attack.
"Licht!" Addy exclaimed as Licht fell to the ground, he was slashed right down his chest.
As Licht collapsed on the ground, a thousand things were flashing through his head. He was glad he could protect Addy but he was only angry, angry that he couldn't fulfill their promise.
As the last bit of his power faded, he wondered if this was his fate. He wondered if he could never change his fate wigh his hands.
"Do you want the power to choose your own fate?" To him, who was at death's door, he heard a voice ask.
"Who are you?" He asked in his fleeting consciousness.
"In exchange for the power to change and choose fate, will you take up my purpose?" The voice asked
"Will I be able to see what's outside the walls with Addy and Eddy?" He asked and they voice answered yes. "I'll do it!"
In an instant, a golden light engulfed his body and a pillar of light rose to the sky, the light drove away the Chimeras and his wounds healed. There, he became the Beacon and he smiled at Eddy and Addy as he embraced the two.
"Let's go, you two." Licht said.
"Go where?" Addy asked as tears dripped down her face.
"To the world that awaist us." Licht said with a smile and the two nodded.
The three then departed on their journey, not knowing the fate that awaited them. Only wishing for the days that spent together, those cheerful days, lively days, those days of happiness would continue.
"If only those days had continued." Eddy said.
"If only we knew what awaited us." Addy said.
"Then maybe, we could've changed Licht's fate." The two said as they held their hands and made their resolve. That even if it kills them, they'd save the person that saved them.
