Chereads / Le Fluer: Braves of the Sacred Flower / Chapter 123 - Chapter 123, Quasi-Braves

Chapter 123 - Chapter 123, Quasi-Braves

While we all waited for Arata to wake up, we acessed the damage done. A large crater was left after Fleur's attack. There's no sign of the three enemies. Seven Braves lost their Titles, among them were Mao and Touya.

"Tch. What do we tell Arata?" Lucas asked. "He'll be fuming when he learns that seven Braves have lost their Titles."

"Right now the seven Braves have awoken from their sleep but... it seems that they've lost their abilities completely." Van stated.

"Tch. the damage done is heavy." Alistar said.

While we await further orders we gather what information we can. For now the capital is safe but there doesn't seem to be any sign of the other cities returning to the ground.

We visit Touya and Mao who were already awake in the medic tent. Touya was in a state of despiar while Mao seemed to be completely dishearted. What can we say to these two exactly? Something to comfort them? How?

There's only one person whi cheer these two up and possibly bring them hope. Arata.

----

"Have you awoken, Tenth?" Julius asked.

"Ah, yes." I answered.

I was somewhat blank at the moment. My mind and my body just don't know what to do. My rage seemed to have summoned Fleur who sleeped deep within me.

"We've called you here to warn you." Erika said.

"Your enemies haven't been defeated yet. You mustn't lower your gaurd." Hazel stated and I nodded.

"Take care." Ivy said and I nodded.

When I come to, I'm lying down in what must be the medical tent. I hear voices on my other side so I stay quiet and listen.

"We heard what happened. Touya, Mao-kun, Shizu-san, Koari-san, Karin-san, Moyu and Rei-san lost their Brave Titles." Pres. Mayumi's voice could be heard.

Touya, Mao and Moyu... lost their Brave Titles?!

Suddenly, my Vi spiked and I immediately tried to calm down. Seven Braves lost their Titles.

"Yeah. It seems so. What do we do exactly?" Hiro asked.

"We'll have to talk to Arata about that." Monica said.

I get up and feel my body is sore all over. My hair seems to be normal but it seems Fleur used up a lot of Vi. I walk over to the area where they were talking and opened the tent.

"Yo, everyone alright?" I asked as I walked in.

"Ah, Arata, you're awake? Since when?" Hiro asked me .

"I heard. So, they lost their Titles...?" I held back my tears.

"You can just give them Titles right?" Leon asked.

"I can't..." I answered as my chest ached.

"What? Why not?" Dustin asked.

"Braves can only be given a Title once in their lives." I answered.

"What about Will and the others then?" Lucas asked.

"I could do that because I assigned them the position of my Swords." I answered. "I can't... do anything..."

"Aren't you supposed to be the Brave that can give Titles?!" Karin, who was apparently listening along with the other Braves shouted.

"It's not like there's no way to do it! But! But..." Tears dripped down my cheek as I hesitated to tell them about the other way.

"There's another way?" Seiji asked.

"Yeah. But... then..." I couldn't bring myself to say it.

"Ah, he means that way." Van said. "You, who have lost your Titles, can never be Braves again, but..."

"If you make a Vow with Arata, he can make you Quasi-Braves." Zander said. "If I'm not mistaken, the Vow is..."

"For them to Vow their absolute resolve to serve Arata and be by his side for the rest of their lives." Van finished. "So, what will you do? Quasi-Braves aren't as strong as Vassal Braves or Braves but you can regain the power you've lost."

"Do we have to be by his side from here on out?" Shizu, a girl with golden hair and white skin with emerald eyes asked.

"No. I can adjust the contents of the contract to allow you to live as freely as you like." I answered as I whipped away my tears. "But... the most I can reduce the contract to is for you to swear your loyalty to me."

"I'm never agreeing to that!" Karin shouted and stormed off.

"We're fine with it." Touya smiled. "In the first place, we promised to be by your side no matter what."

"We agree as well." Rei, with his black hair and brown eyes with white skin said as he fixed his glasses.

"Then, let's head outside." I said.

"So, what do we do?" Kaori, with black hair and brown eyes with white skin asked.

"Do you vow, from here put that you shall be loyal to Arata and the Sacred Flower?" I asked them.

"Yes!" They all answered and I smiled.

"Oh power deep within me, oh you who has slumbered for a thousand years, I emplore you, before you are those who were wrongly robbed of their Titles." I chanted and my attire switched to my Regalia form. "Your wounds are mine, your scars are now mine. Pass the darkness is light. Echoing Voice of Hope, by the power I bear, Grant them your Blessings!Reach out you hand and give them your power, Grant!"

In an instant, overhead my crest appears and six of them who remained recieved their Titles.

"How is it?" I asked them.

Their crests appeared on their hands and shoulders. It's their original crest but now, behind it is my crest and a chain signifying our bond.

"They're perfect." Shizu said and hugged me. "We'll be their to help whenever you need us."

I smiled as they all cried tears of joy and just then remembered Karin but when I bring her up, Kimie apologizes to me and says to leave Karin be unless I wanted to get attacked. I leave her be and turn my attention to the bugger problem at hand. The flaoting cities. That is the greatest proof that the enemy is still alive. We have to find a way to cancel the spell and safely have the people evacuated and the city lowered and soon.
