Chapter 64 - Chapters 64, A Great Battle is About to Arrive

"Ugh... where am I?" I opened my eyes to see a ceiling. I turn and see Liam watching over me as he reads a book.

"Morning, did you sleep well?" He asks as he smiles and puts his book away. "The others are out shopping. It's just you, me and Arc over there."

I turned to see Arc sipping at the sofa to my right. The wooden table hosting his tea set is very beautiful and the design of the room is wonderful as well. A perfect unification of both modern and past.

"Yo, you're awake, Le Fleur." He said.

"Where are we? How do you know that?" I asked.

"Allow me to reintroduce myself. My name is Arc, and I'm the Priest of Knowledge." He said and bowed his head. "This is the Great Library. Story's castle."

"Where's Story?" I asked.

"He is currently down below, in the Bibliophilia Maze with Therese searching for something." He answered. "Therese is the Brave of Books, the two of us along with one more serve Story's castle."

"That's right... Story had three kids with him when I visited him. But they were still young when I came here." I answered. "Arc, Therese and I think the last one was Claire."

"Yeah. You got it. The three of us serve Story and the Great Library." He said. "Anyways, you really scared me good when you collapsed last time."

"How long was I out?" I asked.

"A day and a half." Liam answered. "We got really worried. Will and Theo were panicking in a sense."

"Is that so?" I asked with a smile.

As we were chatting the door to the room bursts open with the others along sude them was a girl with scarlet hair and brown eyes with white skin. She was dressed in a cute black and white frilly maid dress. She even carried a small parasol.

"I'm Claire, the Brave of Memories." She smiled.

"Oh, you're all here. Perfect timing." A voice said and what came in was a man with messy black hair and white skin with black eyes hidden behind glasses. He wore a white coat over a black short with black pants and shoes. "It's been a while master. I'm glad to see you doing better now."

"Hey, it's been a while, Story." I greeted and then a young woman emerged behind him. With wavy brown hair and white skin with bright brown eyes. She was dressed in a white blouse with a black skirt that was was a feel inches above her knee. She wore a blue ribbon and had knee high socks and black shoes.

"Hello. My name is Therese, the Brave of Books." She bowed her head.

"Master, I know you've just awoken from your slumber but there is a great problem you must learn." Story said.

"A great problem?" I asked.

"A great battle is about to arrive. One so dangerous and destructive I have not seen in a long time." He answered.

"A battle?" I asked and he began to explain everything to me.

Apparently the Chimeras are planning something and are preparing everything they need to set it into motion. Story went down into the Bibliophilia Maze to bring back a very old book he wished he would never have to bring out again. There he learned the Chimeras plan to destroy the world. They plan to take over Galactic Gates and use it as a base of operations to lead future wars against the worlds. They would first cut the connections between the worlds and one by one storm each world slowly and carefully in order to take it over.

"Tch. That's why they've been on silent lately?" I asked and he nodded and I realized something. "Then why are they attacking Tetra-Topia?"

"They're after an artifact that was brought to our world for safe keeping." He answered. "The Horologium, the eternally beating heart."

"The greatest source of power in the worlds. The Horologium is said to be a very powerful artifact that can produce an endless amount of Vi." I stated. "I see, it was brought here to be sealed the Historia Vault."

"Yes. However, the Chimera got word of it and they began their attack." Story said. "I sent Arc to fight them while Therese and I descended deep into the Bibliophilia Library to retrieve something."

"And that would be?" I waited.

"The Chronicle." He said and handed me a book.

The Chronicle, the book that is said to record everything that has happened in our worlds. It is one of the Eight Ancient Artifacts along with Horologium that were created by Fleur to help the people.

"Master, I know this is presumptuous of me to ask but, when you leave for Galactic Gates, may you please take the Horologium and Chronicle with you?" He asked.

"I see, you plan to hand them to me for safe keeping. I don't see why not." I answered. "Besides, I have four of the eight with me anyways."

"Thank you, master." He bowed his head.

"Don't mention it." I answered and a smiled. "When the Artifact arrives, we'll immediately leave for Galactic Gates."

"Yeah." Theo answered.

"If Galactic Gates fall, the worlds are doomed. However, I'll put my trust in Astrologia and hope that she can hold them long enough for us to arrive." I answered. "Story, can you tell me anything else?"

"I'm sorry but aside from their plans, I have no more information." He answered.

"Share it with me." I answered.

Story then told me everything he knew and the details of the enemies plans. After talking, Claire escorted us to our rooms. According to them the Artifact should arrive within two to three days time. Till then we should rest and recover for our battle in Galactic Gates.

That said, Horologium and Chronicle, besides the two there are four stored in the Creation. They were gathered by the other Fluers after certain reasons. I can't let the Chimeras have the Artifacts. These artifacts are very dangerous and must never fall into the wrong hands.
